Hello everyone!

So..today was recital day!

We arrived to the theater right at 3pm O.o
Luckily, they hadn't even started yet.
I went backstage because my dance was 8th, so it was early in the program.

Somehow I ended up staying backstage and watching the show from there even after my dance.
Just like last time, at my last dance studio.
Me and Charlotte (who is in my class) declared ourselves the 'Blue Girls'...or 'Girls in Blue'...or something like that lol!
It can be used in reference to Men in Black or the Blue Group haha
We just stayed backstage and helped whenever it was needed because we only had one dance (our ballet dance).
I thought we did pretty well.
I should have taken a pic of us..hmm..oh well (´＿｀｡)

My friend Michelle and her mom came to our recital and sat with my parents and grandma and had a good time for when I was sitting with them in the audience during intermission before I returned to backstage again haha
We took a picture outside afterward, which I will see if I can upload soon..but it was taken on my dad's camera, not my camera phone.

I did take some shots at home..
Was bored..and exhausted!

I took a 30 minute nap after taking this pic.
On that very chair in the game room (笑） (lol)
[I know my dress is transparent, but it's a leotard under, and I was wearing shorts over the leotard part under the skirt so yea..]

I wasn't going to post this picture at first, but the way I took the pic made my eye look different..I think it's cool. ^-^

I had changed to my towel wrap so I could wash off the make-up.
I opened my drawer, and happened to find that my bow headband I bought recently from Rue21 was in there!
So...Naturally, I decided to play around with photos while wearing it (^▽^;)
I've been starting to like my eyes lately...

Although I like my bow headband...
I want to get more bow headbands and bigger bows!

My sister's costume for recital included a huge bow, but it's too big for an 'everyday' bow (^O^)
She does tap dancing..if you wanted to know
We will be going to Clair's soon to find some big bows to wear, but not as big as her costume bow ハハハ　(hahaha)

After bugging my sister for this picture,
I went back to the bathroom, put on my headband,
and proceeded with washing this makeup off my face

Makeup gone!
and feeling refreshed.. ああああ。。。　(ahhh...)

Oh! I had forgotten to mention my shopping this morning!
I had a rushed trip to Kohl's because of a big sale..but I'll talk about that some tomorrow..err..today! Because it's 12:21AM EST O.o
I'm tired..and need to rest.. (￣ー￣)

Welcome to my blog!
Yes,it is in English, but as I learn more and more Japanese, I will slowlymake this a more Japanese blog, so that I can practice.
But don't worry, I will still be translating to English as well

On to the point! (^▽^;)

Today was the day for my dance rehearsal.
Tomorrow is dance recital day!
I'm a bit sad that the dance year is already over.
But it's ok, because I will dance again next year.

Today started off ok, fairly clouded and a bit wet from rain last night.
Then during the day it kept getting darker and darker, and the house got pretty cold.
Sooo...I decided to have something warm for lunch! ちゃん！　Tada!


Yes, instant ramen noodles!
They do taste good once in a while, but I don't know how some college students can live off of this!
This isn't really the 'true' Japanese ramen either! Look it up and you see many recipes I want to try!




Aaannndd...I ate them with my chopsticks!
Kudos to my dad for getting these chopsticks when he went to Korea.


I later had some yogurt

It's my favorite flavor, and it HAS to be Dannon..because it's my favorite strawberry banana flavored yogurt
I've tried others, like Yoplait, and it tastes good too, but it doesn't compare to the awesomeness of Dannon Light&Fit!


So the storm came after..or did it come before? I don't remember..but the storm came between before the time I ate my yogurt, and after eating my yogurt, and it was pretty bad
I was worried that we wouldn't be able to go to rehearsal, or would be late, especially because my sis had text me that the buses were being held up.

Luckily, the storm cleared up, and it gradually became better.

My sis called and said she was on her way, but would be a bit late, so I decided to start getting ready for rehearsal!
Makeup time!


Pre-makeup..Well, I did have my base on, but that doesn't do much that you'd notice anyway (
笑) <- 'lol' for Japanese people, from what I've noticed. ^-^'
Our hair was to be parted on the right. Our attire was to be our normal class clothes, so I wore my leotard and pink tights..naturally..
I am a ballerina

I didn't put on much makeup, as I was kind of in a hurry and my sister had arrived not much after I started getting dressed..and yet..

is it me or do my eyes look fairly asian-like? Or slanted? Or something?
It does kind of run in the family..slanted eyes I mean.. (笑)

So..yea..I forgot to take pics at rehearsal..so..I'll get my individual and group photos up sometime

After we got back home from rehearsal, I was a bit hungry and tired, and dinner wasn't ready yet, so I went ahead and got myself a cookie because I was having a sweet tooth, or あまいものずき(amaimonozuki), as it is said in Japanese

Mm..That チョコラート(chocolate) chip cookie sure was yummy! It was of the Chips Ahoy Chunky kind..you know..the ones that come in the brown packaging.




Well, I had a long day..And now I have to remove this makeup that I should have removed earlier..heheh

I took my doggie Sparki to bed, and this is what he looked like when me and my sis came downstairs to tuck him in.

Isn't he just precious
He's my little puppy, and I love him so much!
But, at that moment, he was sleepy and didn't feel like having his picture taken..but who can resist that face o(^▽^)o

Here you can see we had put on his male wrap (^▽^;) hahaha...
For those who know his story, you'd know why he needs it.
For those of you who don't know, he is handicapped and incontinent, and so he needs our assistance with expressing his bladder.
