The last time was when I was a junior high school students and in P.E class. That's why I’m a beginner and I didn’t play very well. However, it was fun.

     There, we observed the classes in the 1st grade and 2nd grade. Compared with Japanese elementary schools, I noticed some differences. For example, on the wall there many decoration, but off course, the decoration was about English such as number, spell, color and so on. Additionally, whereas Japanese students take classes at their personal desk, the students were taking the class at a little big table with some students.

     After that, I heard that the students in the US do group work in all school including colleges and universities. This is because to develop skill for cooperating each other.

This time also, it was difficult to understand what they said. However, compared with last time, I think I could understand a little bit more. This time, I was counting how many they express their ideas during the class. This time also, at first, 3 students introduced articles they researched and then almost half of students did presentations. While they were doing presentations, I thought that the quality of their presentation isn’t different from that of our presentations. The different point is that how much the presenters talk during the presentation. In the US, presenters talk very much and the audience also ask questions, so presentation goes smoothly. On the other hand, in my college, presenter do their presentation reading manuscript and with a little bit small voice. Additionally, the audience don’t ask question very much. After that, we went to an Asian restaurant to hold a birthday party for my friend. In total, 10students attended the party. 

The restaurant we went to is near my university, so we went there soon after the classes in the morning finished. There, I ordered a lunch menu and everyone also ordered what they wanted to eat. Although the dish I ate was good, next time, I want to try another dish.

During the party, we gave her a doll and a birthday card which has words we wrote down to celebrate her. She looked very glad.

After that, we went to an ice-cream shop. It’s different from Japanese normal ice-cream stores. The cost is decided by the weight we took. I ate vanilla and some toppings. It tasted good.




From this time, I'll stop writing Japanese transration because I thought that I don't want to use Japanese as much as possible. I'm so sorry. That's why, if you want to read this diary in Japanese, please use a transrater on a web site.

I went there because my friend suggested me to go there with him. Until then, I had never been there because I had been thinking that it’s difficult for people who have never been there to order. However, it was very easier than I had expected. It was just same as other stores. First, I told which one I wanted to drink and then told the size and either hot or ice. I ordered Caramel Macchiato and it cost 4.50$. It was delicious. 
     Then, we came back to the university, did our homework and went back home.

今日は放課後に友達がスターバックスに行こうと誘ってくれたのでそこに行きました。今まで一度も行ったことがありませんでした。というのも行ったことのない人には注文するのが難しいと思っていたからです。けど思ったより簡単でした。他の店と同じで最初に何を飲みたいのかを言ってそのあとにサイズとホットかアイスかを選ぶだけでした。4、5＄するキャラメルマキアートを注文しましたが美味しかったです。
そのあとは大学に戻って宿題をして帰りました。

It was delicious. According to him, it took one hour and half to cook it because he made it from making "dashi". I appreciated his consideration.


今日はホストファミリーが家にいなかったので同じ日本人のルームメイトが夕食においしい親子丼を作ってくれました。彼によるとダシから作ったので1時間半かかったようです。彼の思いやりに感謝です。

From 6:30p.m, we, the students from my college and three students of my classmate, had a party. At the party, we ate many dishes. Thre are chinese dishes and pizzas cakes and so on. They were very delicious. After that, I talked with everyone with fun. After all, I stayed there about 5 hours. Because it was dark, I was driven to my house.


今日は金曜日です毎週金曜日は授業が朝で終わります18:30分から同じ大学のみんなと3人のクラスメイトとでパーティーをしましたパーティーでは中華料理、ピザ、ケーキなどたくさんの美味しいものを食べました。そのあとはみんなと楽しく話したりして結局、5時間ぐらいいました。外は暗かったので家まで送ってもらいました。

At that time, I talked with him very much. During the conversation, I asked him if he has lunch with his friends or alone. He answered that he has lunch alone. I said” let’s have a lunch together tomorrow also.” He answered” OK”. Therefore, maybe, I think I could make a new friend, but I’m still not sure for now.


今日、クラスメイトの一人と偶然昼食を共にしました。その時にたくさん話して会話中にいつも友達と食べてるのか一人で食べてるのか聞いたところいつも一人で食べているそうなので「明日も一緒にご飯食べようよ」と聞いたところ「いいよ」と答えてくれました。たぶん、新しい友達ができたと思いますが今のところまだ分かりません。

Of course, I went there and looked around. I found a club which sounds interesting. It’s a volunteer club which helps schools by supporting the teachers and so on. I heard that there will be a meeting on September 16th so, I’m going to participate in the meeting.


Namely, I wrote this article on September 9th.


今日はクラブ紹介のイベントがありました。もちろんいって見回りました。一つ面白そうなクラブを見つけました。それは先生の手伝いをして学校を助けるボランティアクラブです9／16日に話し合いがあるそうなので出て見るつもりです。

They are from different countries for example, from Japan, Korea, China and so on. Of course, I get homework, but it is still easy. Maybe, it will be difficult from now on.


今日、授業が始まりました。生徒の数は自分を含めて13人です。それぞれ違う国からきていて日本、韓国中国などからです。もちろん宿題は出ましたがまだ簡単です。多分これから難しくなるでしょう。
