Nike basketball career

Review of Basketball Player Shaquille O'Neal's NBA CareerO'Neal is very famous in the NBA history. When O'Neal was playing basketball in the game, his brave was unparallel, and when he met with his basketball fans, another comedy actor was show up. People gave a high reward to O'Neal. Even so, O'Neal still can not escape the following saying: "The center does not sell shoes".Before we start the topic of O'Neal's basketball shoes, let's first start something that related with O'Neil's shoes. O'Neal's big feet are quite disproportionate compare with his height, US22 yards shoes equal to EUR60 yards, which is Nike Air Yeezy the length from an adult male's finger to his wrist, even Yao Ming just wears 56 yards.O'Neal fans knew that O'Neal's first contract company is Reebok, but not Nike. In fact, Nike was O'Neal's dream, but when he visited the Nike headquarters, Nike managers did not notice this big black sturdy and flexible pace man. After that, O'Neal chose Reebok as his contract company.O'Neal will be a good Center, for his tall figure, strong muscles and mastered technology. His potential decided that he Air Jordan 12 can do what he wanted in the rivals inside court. As we all know, O'Neal was a "Superman" by heart. His signature action was to cover the people's head when he made a dunk, and then made a pull up, which always made a mistake or broke the backboard. Thus the Nike King famous dunk movement became the flag character of O'Neal. The symbol first show its appearance was on the second generation shoes that launched by Reebok for O'Neal. According to Nike Pepper Shoes unofficial records of the shoe fans, after O'Neal terminated his contract with Reebok, O'Neal bought the special personal Logo designed for him from Reebok and thus made its his own brand Logo. Thus, Let's come to O'Neal's Nike basketball career. It was undoubtedly that Reebok pay much attention to this big guy, they made the first O'Neal's signature shoes by the using of high tech Pump and carbon plate and honeycomb cushioning technology. The black version was only sold in the America, and for Air Jordan Fusion other countries Nike Air Presto there were only the other two color shoes. When he made the commercial advertisement for the other brands, people can still see this pair Air Jordan 13 Retro of shoes.Shaq Attaq II: The greatest feature of this shoe is that it Air Jordan Air Jordan 14 Air Air Jordan 6 Jordan 17 Retro 6 is the first time to use the O'Neal dunk Logo. And it's large enough to cover Air Jordan 10 the entire tongue. What made people confused was the regressed technology, there was no Pump and cellular cushioning technology, just retained the carbon Air Jordan 19 plate technology in Air Jordan 14 Retro the shoes soles. But in any case, his master was strong enough to bring it down to the Dream Team II, to participate in the World Championships.Although O'Neill's popularity has been high, but the sale of his shoes is continuing to fall. After the contract with Allen Iverson, the common height basketball new star, Reebok's shoes were in a hot topic, which was quite unbelievable. Since Reebok terminated the contract with this shoe center,O'Neal has not signed with other brands, while, he chose to set up his own DUNKMAN brand and his shoes are named Shaq series. O'Neal series shoes priced at about $ 35 price, which was the most approachable price in the All Star shoes. The only regret is that this shoes series has never been on sale in China. The old the shark retired from his Nike Shoes position, but his legendary in the absolutely inside court rule position can be the lovely showy story for O'Neal, let's bless the shark.

Management Line

Management LineWhy do people wear suits to work? Does it make you work any better? It's a point raised by Mark Cuban's blog in his entry Why I Don't Wear a Suit and Can't Figure Out Why Anyone Does!:"I'm not a suit hater, I just could never think of any good reason for any sane person to wear a suit in the first place. Exactly what purpose does a suit serve? Why in the world are so many people required to wear a suit to work? Do the clothes make the man or woman in the western world today? Does wearing a tie make us work harder or smarter? Is this a conspiracy by the clothing, fabric or dry cleaning industry to take our money? Or are we all just lemmings following a standard we all know makes zero sense, but we follow because we are afraid not to? If you are a CEO, are there not better things your employees could spend money on than multiple suits, ties, dress shirts, dress shoes, dress socks, dry cleaning, and all the other associated costs? Gee, no suits would be the same as giving your employees a tax free raise. Think that might make them happy? Or do employees consider having to spend money on suits a perk?"On the other hand, companies in the US are now bringing in rules on "dressy casual" styles that have, in some places, seen employees turn up in knee length shorts, micro miniskirts that finish just below the groin, thongs and sheer tank tops.So do we need to wear suits or more professional gear? Should we drop the rule to wear these outfits? Would it do any good? Would it change the way you work?I'm fortunate that I work in scientific research. The only restrictions on my clothing are that I wear closed toed shoes. This prevents damage should I drop a bottle of something nasty. Otherwise, we are free to wear what we like. I don't see the point of Nike Free a suit, my brain won't work any more effectively Air Jordan 3 Retro if I'm wearing one. The only reason I see for wearing one in the regular office setting is if you are dealing with the general public. You'd much prefer your solicitor to be dressed in a suit, rather than shorts and a t shirt. But, if Air Jordan 10 you have no interaction with clients/general public, dress should be based on what is most comfortable. My supervisor normally wears jeans and a shirt. But on days when he's meeting university big wigs etc, he wears a suit. It's appropriate for those kinds of meetings, but for every day work, it really doesn't matter.I don't necessarily believe in suits, but I'm OK with a dress code. Having been self employed or able to telecommute, I find that getting dressed is like stepping through a door: "Now I am at work". "Wearing a tie" probably doesn't "make us work harder or smarter", but Air Jordan 12 just turning up Air Jordan 11 further blurs the distinction between work and home, and I suspect a lot of us don't want that. Some people look great and natural in a suit, but a lot of us don't and shouldn't be forced to make ourselves look worse. In the meantime, you might like to consider what men think is a double standard, that women have more "freedom" to choose their clothes. I don't think it's a particularly great "freedom" as a larger lady I think it's a freakin' nightmare but I certainly understand their complaint.I've worked in a host of places with a range of dress codes. I've worn the unofficial designers' dress code of black t shirt, combat trousers and trainers, through to asuit and tie, complete with French Air Jordan 9 Retro cuffs and collar stays.I think what you wear does affect how you work by changing your attitude it's like a uniform. Even when I work from home I make an effort to dress up, even if what I wear is pretty casual by office standards. If I had a choice I'd wear a suit every day, Nike Shox but that's just because I like the way I look in a suit yes that's vain.Right now I'm working in a casually dressed office. No one, from the Director down is wearing a suit. But then it is not expected in the industry I work in. I believe that the people who come to my office wearing jeans, t shirts and thongs are doing themselves a career disservice, because despite they look like they're going to a footy match, not work. On the flip side, were someone to wear a full blown suit, I would wonder if they were lost.I think its important to dress appropriately for your industy (when I was working at an investment bank, I wore a suit everyday. it was simply the office culture to do so, and as Jarrod says, showed a respect for my collegues and industry). I also think that no matter what you do, looking neat and professional conveys to your co workers and boss that you are a neat and professional person. Wearing a t shirt and thongs conveys the impression Air Jordan Women that you got lost on the way to the cricket. When we dress, we dress for ocassions. The outfit I wear to beach with my friends is not the same one I wear to the office on monday. I also don't speak to my co workers and boss like I speak to my friends (certianally less swearing takes place.) because I understand that work and beach are not the same place. You wouldnt go to a friend's wedding in your thongs, and you wouldnt wear your ripped jeans to sunday mass. You shouldn't wear them to work either.Suits and dress standards (read self respect) are not synonymous. Suits as we Nike Shox know them evolved in the much colder northern and western Europe and are utterly unsuitable for our climate. The fascist bosses who force employees to wear these ridiculous outfits (the tie especially is the single most stupid piece of clothing ever invented for men and I flat out refuse to wear them) remind me of the recent British psychological study that showed as many as 50% of managers have personality disorders. However, Australians generally are such sheep I have no reasonable expectation of change for the better anytime soon.Everyday on the train I see men in dark suits. They look like an army of pall bearers. There is Air Jordan 14 Retro scarcely the ability for individualism (and throwing on a bright pink tie doesn't make you look like an individual). I see men in suits on 40 degree days. That just seems wrong. I have worked in the corporate world (as a contractor) for many years and have avoided the suit. In my current role it's "business casual" Air Jordan 3 Retro and it makes for a much more enjoyable work environment, while in no way does it diminish the professionalism of the people that work here.If Air Jordan 6 you need to wear a suit to make you feel good, that is your issue. I don't believe it makes you work any harder. What's the point of someone wearing a suit when they sit inside an office all day with no client contact and no one sees them?Suits are a subtle form of discrimination against women. It makes them uncomfortable as the air conditioning and heating is set for the guys in the suits.I have no respect for the salesman wearing the suit. If its a cheap suit, he will look like an out of work waiter or a conman and if if its an expensive suit, it means I'll be paying too much. There is also the problem that women who wear male style suits and Nike Heels Boots ties have the same heart attack risks as men who wear ties. The richest businessmen I know (the ones that have their own money, not playing with other peoples) never seem to be wearing a suit.Australians are more casual about clothing. I like it that way. When I was working for a corporation in Turkey in Air Jordan 9 Retro 1980s, suit and tie was compulsory. It used to symbolize obedience. Lets face it, any kind of uniform is open to abuse by the bosses to enforce obedience. I see suit+tie as the next thing after a military uniform.Even in Australia nowadays, managers are made uncomfortable by their superiors if they dont wear the uniform. It is a symbol of oppression. Techies can get away with neat casuals. It is also used as a sign of wealth. Thats why it makes some people feel good. They see themselves as different from other losers. Specially an expensive suit can give you an aura of wealth and power.Get over it guys. It is old fashion. A symbol of oppression. Be yourselves. Free yourselves from the money freak bosses. I know it is easy to say, hard to do. Specially if you have a mortgage hanging over your neck. You have to obey the bully.I have experienced business life from multinational corporate offices in St Kilda Road to sawmills in Queensland and have found competence and intellect are not determined by dress. In fact often the person hiding behind a suit needs it Nike Shoes to try and prove their superiority.I consider there is no excuse for poor personal hygiene or uncared for clothes. However, simply wearing a suit and tie does not make a person better at their job.For those who are worried that casual clothes encourage casual work performance let me assure them the analogy would be letting children loose in a lolly shop. Wear casuals everyday and the novelty is gone, you just get on with your job.

up discloses Nike won shoe war BARCELONA 92

up discloses Nike won shoe war BARCELONA 92Jordan, the centerpiece of Nike's promotional efforts, had balked at wearing the official United States Olympic Committee awards ceremony uniform, which was made by Reebok and featured a Reebok patch on the Air Jordan 10 right shoulder. basketball team took the medal stand yesterday after beating Croatia, 117 85, Nike Air Max for the expected gold medal, all 12 players half work for Nike had unzipped their jackets so that the collars obscured the patch. Jordan, Charles Air Jordan 3 Retro Barkley and Magic Johnson took the extra precaution of carrying an American flag over their right shoulders. And so, as the national anthem played, there was no Reebok patch in sight."Everyone agreed we would Air Jordan 11 not deface the Reebok on the award uniform," said Jordan, who had been saying for weeks he wouldn't wear the Reebok uniform. "The American flag cannot deface anything. That's what we stand for. The American dream is standing up for what you believe in. I believed in it, and I stood up for it. If I offended anyone, that's too bad."Jordan, who makes millions a Air Jordan 9 Retro year from Nike, said he wished 12 flags were available because all the players had wanted to join in the effort. From the beginning, Barkley had said he would do whatever Jordan did. Apparently Jordan persuaded the others to follow his lead. athletes from the other sports seemed to have the same objections the basketball players Nike Air Presto did to wearing the Air Jordan 12 Reebok victory sweat suit. And, in fact, the basketball Kids Nike Trainers players were already wearing uniforms designed by another Nike athletic wear rival, Champion. But the Dream Team players seemed to adopt Jordan's Nike Air Force 1 cause as their own. Apparently, discussions between the USOC and USA Basketball on this issue had Air Jordan 19 taken place for more than two years without being resolved."They could have come to us and treated us like men and Nike Air Presto talked this thing out," Johnson said. "Instead they had to be the big shot, be the big man."Jordan Nike Shoes put the debate in even more direct terms, saying, "When you hire 12 Clint Eastwoods to come in here and do Nike Heels Boots a job, don't ask them what bullets they're putting in the gun."The bronze medal winning Lithuanians took a different approach, wearing their own individual, non athletic wear. In fact, they came out looking less like athletes Nike Heels Boots and more like leftover hippies, or fans of the Grateful Dead. That was no coincidence, because their red, green and yellow tie dyed outfits were designed by someone associated with the Grateful Dead. The band donated $5,000 toward the less controversial, but certainly more entertaining, medal platform wear.

New Air Jordans cause shopping frenzy across US

New Air Jordans cause shopping frenzy across USLITHONIA, Ga. The release of Nike's new Air Jordan basketball shoes caused a frenzy at stores across the nation Friday as scuffles broke out and police were brought in to stamp out unrest that nearly turned into riots in some places.Shoppers stood in long lines through the night to get their hands on a retro version of one of the most popular models of Air Jordans ever Air Jordan 5 Retro made. The fights were reminiscent of violence that broke out in the Air Jordan 2 early 1990s on Nike Air Max streets across America as the shoes became popular targets for thieves.Tukwila Officer Mike Murphy said people started gathering around midnight at four stores in the mall for a chance to buy the shoes, which retail for about $180 a pair. "Around 4, it started to get pretty Nike Free unruly and officers sprayed pepper spray on a few people who were fighting, and that seemed to do the trick to break them up."He said no injuries were reported, Nike Lunar Haze although some people suffered cuts or scrapes from fights."He did not get his shoes; he went to jail," Murphy said.Arrests also were reported at stores in Georgia and Michigan. The frenzy over Air Jordans has been dangerous in the past. Some people were mugged or even killed for early versions of the shoe, created by Nike Inc. in 1985.The Air Jordan has been a consistent hit since then with sneaker fans. A new edition was launched each year, and release dates had Nike Shox to be moved to the weekends at some points to keep kids from skipping school to get a pair.No one anticipated the hysteria around the original Air Jordan, which spawned a subculture of collectors willing to wait hours to buy the latest pair. Some collectors save Nike Air Presto the shoes for special occasions or never take them out of the box.But the uproar Nike Air Yeezy over the shoe had died down in recent years. These latest incidents instead seem to be part of trend of increasing acts of violence at retailers this holiday shopping season, such as the shopper who pepper sprayed others at a Wal Mart in Los Angeles on Black Friday and crowds looting a clothing store in New York.A representative for Nike, based in Beaverton, Ore., was not immediately available to comment. A 21 year old man was arrested. In Lithonia, Ga., at least four people were arrested after a crowd of customers broke down a door before a store selling the Air Jordans opened.DeKalb County police said up to 20 squad cars Air Jordan 19 responded. Officers escorted most of the people outside but took Kids Shoes Air Jordan 13 Retro four into custody, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.Police also said they had to break a car window to get two toddlers out after a woman went in after the shoes. They said she Nike Shoes was taken into custody when she returned to the car.Hundreds of people also lined up outside shoe stores in Portland, Ore., downtown Seattle and at a mall in nearby Federal Way.In Tukwila, Murphy said the crowd was on the verge Nike Heels Boots of a riot and would have gotten even more out of hand if the police hadn't intervened."It was not a nice, orderly group of shoppers," Murphy said. "There were a lot of hostile and disorderly people."About 25 officers from Air Jordan 7 Retro Tukwila, Renton, Kent, Seattle and King County responded. Murphy said they smelled marijuana and found alcohol containers at the scene. The Southcenter mall's stores sold out of the Air Jordan 11 Retro Concords, and all but about 50 people got their Nikes, Murphy said.Shoppers described the scene as chaotic and at times dangerous.Carlisa Williams said she joined the crowd at the Southcenter for the Air Jordan 3 Retro experience and ended up buying two pairs of shoes one for her and one for her brother. But she said she'll never do anything like it again."I don't understand why they're so important to people," Williams told KING TV. "They're just shoes at the end of the day. It's not worth risking your life over."

The dilemma in front of footwear manufacturers is to Air Jordan 10 whether outsource the manufacturing process or have in house manufacturing. There are certain important points that must be kept in mind while making this important decision. There are both pros and cons to outsourcing your manufacturing process. If you have an in house manufacturing then you can easily monitor the quality of produced Air Jordan 12 shoes, have better application of labor laws or environmental laws, and get good control over logistics. However, the high wages may act as a big deterrent to this decision.1. Core competencies enhancement: Most of the big players in the Nike Shox footwear industry are more concerned with the marketing and logistics aspects and do not possess manufacturing as their core competency. Outsourcing the manufacturing process to the shoes factories abroad help in several ways such as risk shifting, appreciably lower wages, less capital expenditure Nike Free on infrastructure, and increased focus on the core competencies.2. Increased Know How: The reason behind the outsourcing Air Jordan Women of the manufacturing process to places like China, Vietnam and Cambodia is due to their increased know how and technical efficiency, which has translated into their core competency now. They are well equipped with high level of technological advancements so Air Jordan 9 Retro that the mass production can be achieved efficiently. In recent past, many footwear giants have reduced their over dependence on China and started to explore other Asian countries for outsourcing the manufacturing work.3. Mutual Profit: Not only the footwear companies are gaining profits from outsourcing but countries like Air Jordan 6 Vietnam and Cambodia are quickly progressing because of the Air Jordan 14 Retro huge influx of Air Jordan 13 Retro capital in these countries. Hence, both parties are acquiring considerable profits out of Air Jordan 19 this process.4. Reduced Operational Cost: Most of the international brands in footwear industry are now outsourcing to different parts of the Asia in search of Nike Shoes finding new suppliers that can provide excellent know how at minimum cost. The reduced wages helps in minimizing the operational expenditures. It prudent to select a supplier who has a long and proven record of delivering quality products at minimum amount of time. All the documentation required for outsourcing must be discussed and finalized in advance.5. Increased Competitiveness: One of the major advantages of outsourcing is that it increases the competitiveness of a brand.6. Less financial Risks: Outsourcing helps footwear companies to evade financial risks as they no longer have to deal with tax laws of Air Jordan 3 Retro their own country. Also, the shift of risk allows these companies to transfer the risk liability to the shoes factory such as of insurance to the workers. We would love to hear from you so Air Jordan Others please do get in touch.
Cash Flow

Out of state investmentYou are one Nike SB of those "lucky" people that live in an expensive market where the numbers don make a lot of sense from an investment perspective. markets that do make sense and offer good opportunities for you as an investor. In your case "turn key" investments are a great option.Where is a good place to invest? In short, you want to focus on markets with strong economic fundamentals, particularly employment and job growth potential. You also want a sound housing market. Finally, you want to consider what the rates of return are in those markets and consider what the rent to value ratios are.Do out of state investors travel to look at properties? I can imagine flying all over the states for every property I am interested in.Sometimes. Using our investor client base as an example, about 90% of them do NOT travel to the city to visit some of our properties. The other 10% (+/ ) do visit the market they considering to Nike Lunar Haze meet our team, tour some properties, and learn more about the market and neighborhoods. Those that don travel to preview the properties conduct all their due diligence from home with the help of our guidance and using our out of state buying process. Of course, you can do the same if you take a logical, cautious and systematic approach.I would be happy to Nike Shox send you our checklist if you PM me.I would focus Nike Air Presto on the up and coming areas. I am currently working with many investors in the Pa market. This area is a high target shale oil area. Nike Shox Sale prices are low and rents are high. [The price for] an average 4 square two story in the city of New Castle for an average of $20k and rents are yielding between $600 $2000 a month depending on amenities, condition and whether or not utilities are included. Based on the research I have done on similar markets effected by the exploration of oil and gas and the influx in rents we have seen in the Air Jordan Fusion past year, market sale rates are expected to be on the steady incline for this area of the course of the next 5 15 years.I always suggest that investors Air Jordan 19 visit an area prior to investing. However when this is not possible Air Jordan 6 it is Kids Shoes important to connect Air Jordan 17 with a Air Jordan 13 Retro partner and team you can trust. Receiving the most accurate up to date information on your investment is so important. What do you think will appreciate? What are your goals? Do you want Nike Shoes a Nike Air Presto big city? Are old houses OK? How long will you hold?I just starting a similar search, and here my criteria:Cash Flow1. 10% cash on cash return, after additional capital expenses.2. Clean/decent condition of interior (note that I might Air Jordan XX8 be willing to invest in modest cosmetic fixes such as Air Jordan 7 Retro new appliances, paint, carpet, etc. But no remodels or major repairs needed in year 1.)3. Newer construction. 2000+ is great, 1990 is OK. 1980 would take some convincing.4. Reasonable commute to large centers for employment5. 3+ beds; 2+ baths. I would say that 4/2.1 would be ideal.6. Modern features such as a functional 2 person master bath, social kitchen, attached 2+ car garage, central heat and/or AC, non gold features, etc.

surviving Venezuela's queues

surviving Venezuela's queuesCaracas: It's Sunday morning. The sun is barely up, and already there are long lines outside a large state run supermarket next to a hillside Caracas slum.Rumour has it there's a fresh delivery of milk inside, so there is expectant chatter among the Venezuelan housewives, pensioners and teenagers lining up in the hundreds at the Bicentenario store. When the doors finally open, uniformed guards keep order as the first shoppers charge in. They find crates of cherished milk to loud delight but, alas, no toilet paper today.Long resigned to tedious Air Jordan 5 Retro queues for bureaucratic chores such as paying bills and renewing ID cards, this year Venezuelans have also begun Nike Air Max facing long lines to buy food, clothes, electronics and a host of other daily Nike Air Yeezy items."The worst thing is the sun," says pensioner Hernan Torres, 68, shading himself with an umbrella outside Bicentenario."I suppose it can be fun if everyone's talking and cracking jokes. Sometimes people lose their cool. Then it gets nasty."Critics of the government decry the lines as a humiliating new symbol of economic failure akin to scenes in communist run Cuba, Soviet era Russia or Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe.President Nicolas Maduro says the scarcities are largely caused by immoral businessmen hoarding products. That, he says, is exacerbated by a "consumerist" bent among the public that remains unchecked despite 15 years of socialism."I call on everyone to save resources, not to fall for panic buying," he said in one of several national appeals this month. With inflation hitting an annual 54 per cent last month, Maduro has sent soldiers, inspectors and officials into shops to force retailers to lower their prices. He says that will create negative inflation, but opponents warn it may just worsen product shortages across the nation by deterring businesses.Maduro's so called "economic offensive" comes in the run up to December 8 local elections that will be the first major test of his political strength since he narrowly won an election in April to replace his late mentor, Hugo Chavez."They had to bring the prices down. That was good. to be first in line for opening six hours later.Beaming at the front of the queue, Garcia said Nike Shox he was going to buy some sports shoes for 2,000 bolivars: three times cheaper than before the government's "offensive" against price gouging began this month. That price is still a whopping $317 at the official exchange rate of 6.3 bolivares to the dollar, but only around $33 Nike Shoes using the illegal black market rate.LEAVE YOUR HIGH HEELSVenezuelans are saddened by videos Nike Air Yeezy circulating online showing people stampeding into shops, or shouting and shoving each other when certain products arrive."I feel so impotent. Venezuela is falling to pieces. Now everything's rationed. It's shameful," said Narky Rodriguez, 38, a smartly dressed engineer standing in line to enter Air Jordan 9 Retro a hardware store for paint to freshen up her apartment.Around her, some nodded while others tutted loudly.Anecdotes abound of Nike Shox flare ups in queues, often when people start complaining against the government and provoke diehard "Chavistas," who will hear nothing bad said about the legacy of their revered former leader, who died of cancer in March. People are sometimes given numbers, then allowed in 10 or 20 Air Jordan 11 at a time. There are limits to the quantity of some products people can buy in one visit to a shop.In such circumstances, ingenuity is rife.Full time queuers will hold places for busy shoppers for a few hundred bolivars. A cash tip can create a fast route into a shop. Shoppers take elderly parents or young children with them to maximize their allowances for purchases. When Kids Shoes new deliveries arrive, word spreads within seconds via cell phones and social networks. And some Venezuelans have become extremely nosy, staring at each other's bags on the street to see what the other has bought and then work out where it came from. The queue phenomenon has become so entrenched that psychologists are offering advice in Air Jordan 10 local media.Leave your high heels at home but do take a good book, recommends one, telling readers their behaviour in a queue Nike Heels Boots will reflect, for better or worse, the essence of nike dunk heels their personality. In a nation whose people are always quick to laugh at their own predicament, black humour is flourishing. At the airport, "Bring us back some toilet paper!" is a common parting cry.One anti Maduro newspaper ran a cartoon Air Jordan XX8 of a shopper proclaiming "At last no queues!" in relief as she waits Air Jordan 7 Retro alone for an elevator. On entering the store, she sees why the queues have disappeared: only spiders are left on the shelves. The nation's leading satirical website, Chiguire Bipolar, has had a field day with Kafkaesque spoof tales of queues that join each other in a circle, or the woman who "stood in a queue to be let in a queue to keep a spot in a queue," all while another woman gave birth beside her."The country has become one huge queue," wrote sociologist Tulio Hernandez in the pro opposition newspaper El Nacional, saying the symbol of Venezuelan socialism was not a heroic figure, like in Russia or Cuba, but an exhausted person with toilet paper in one hand and a flat screen TV in the other.
