今日の単語は 『Academy』です。

意味
1左下矢印
a secondary or high school, especially a private one.
中学校、高校特に私立学校のこと。

2左下矢印
a school or college for special instruction or training in a subject. EX：a military academy.
特別指示やトレーニングの学校や大学のこと。例：陸軍士官学校

3左下矢印
an association or institution for the advancement of art, literature, or science
芸術、文学、あるいは科学振興協会や機関

4左下矢印
a group of authorities and leaders in a field of scholarship, art, etc., who are often permitted to dictate standards, prescribe methods, and criticize new ideas
基準、規定の方法を決定し、新しいアイデアを批判することを許可出来る奨学金、芸術などの分野の権威や指導者のグループ

先ほどアカデミー賞が終わりましたね。
今年は 12 years a slave の映画がベストフィルム賞を取りました。
まだ見てない人は、是非見て下さい。
残念ながら Leo dicaprio が今年もアカデミー賞を取れませんでした。

さて、アカデミー賞は1～4の中で、何番に当てはまるか考えましょう。

アカデミー賞のアカデミーが３番の意味からきています。

そして、賞を取った人達のスピーチで『Thank you to the academy』の『academy』は４番になります。

一つの言葉でも色々な意味があって難しいと思いますが、

実は、「merry」も「happy」も使用しております。

意味も大体同じです。

でも、「happy」が一人でも出来るでしょう？

1散歩で英会話コース（栄教室）
一時間を使用して、栄セントラルパークの周りに英会話しながら散歩！

2旅行で英会話コース
海外旅行に行く時は、英語が話せないとトラブルが発生する可能性があります。
現地の人にだまされたとか、万引きされたとか～
