Karaoke

I think I missed so many things which were quite interesting in Japan.
First, there was the trend that stupid students enter a freezer of ice cream and posted some pictures on Twitter.
I wouldn't have done such a silly thing and ruined my future life, but it was a shame that I couldn't share the moment.
Second, I also missed out on an atmosphere when Tokyo was elected the place of the Olympics.
My opinion had been that whether it was or not had been fine, but when it was decided, I got excited somehow.
I talked about that with my Japanese friends, but if it had been in Japan, it would have been ecstatic.
On the other hand, there was a positive side that was avoiding the hotness in the summer.
I'm given to know that it was too hot to survive this summer in Japan.
While I was being wet in the bad weather, Japanese people was suffering from the heat.
For me, being wet but not hot is much more comfortable, so escaping from Japan was kinda successful.
The first thing I wanna do when I go back to Japan is eat rice.
I occasionally eat it but it's not as delicious as Japanese one.
I have never thought that Japanese rice is "Tasty", oddly enough, it is out of this world.
I've learned that I have to appreciate trivial things in a daily life.
It is what you realize when you lose it.
The second thing is I want to drink together with my friends.
Here, sake sets us back more than 10 dollars and we can hardly drink it due to its price.
It's not necessary sake to drink, but it matches my taste better.
It makes me drunk though.
Anyway, today, I went to the city and went to a karaoke.
The time fixed for meeting was at 11:00, but I got there earlier, so I went to a souvenir shop.
I was planning to go there after getting together though.
I didn't know that the shop is Japanese one.
One Japanese staff helped me to find what I wanted.
I went to the place where we were going to meet and everyone else was late so I had to wait for 15 minutes there.
Anyway, I went back to the shop and bought souvenirs.
It should have cost 115 dollars, but the staff mistakenly counted the number of them, so I ended up paying 105 dollars instead.
I felt a little guilty, but I didn't go back to tell.
That wasn't my mistake at all.
I can pretend not to realize the fact.
Being undercharged makes us feel happy, but slightly guilty at the same time.
After that, we went to a Vietnamese restaurant and I ate spare ribs of pork with rice.
I though Vietnamese food was spicy generally, but it wasn't and delicious.
Then we went to the Karaoke, but it opens from 3:00 p.m., so we decided to kill the time at McDonald's and ate ice cream which cost 70 cents.
The taste was edible, but the cheap price has the cheap taste.
Anyway, we went to the Karaoke store and stayed there for 3 hours.
It was the most tiring singing in my life.
I sang many songs which surpassed my limit of the tone.
I got excited for some reasons and relished the time so much.
As a result of that, my voice became so husky that I couldn't make a sound loudly and properly.
I don't really want to talk to my host father cuz He'll know what I did today.
It was the great Saturday.
Tomorrow is gonna be a bad day because I have to start packing my luggage.
There are many things to think about and they will take me a whole day to sort out.
I think the souvenirs would weigh 4 or 5 kilograms in total.
My luggage might weigh maximum 43 kilograms.
46 kilograms are the limit, so I'm worrying about excess.
Everything depends on how much weight I can cram into cardboard.
Textbooks, souvenirs, clothes are heavy respectively.
It's so tough.
See you.

Starbucks

Conversation club wasn't boring, but it wasn't interesting cuz we were talking about traveling around south island.
I'm leaving in one week and not going to go on a trip there, so it was trivial information for me.
Anyway, conversation club with Carey has finished and I'm not gonna take part in it unless the teacher is different.
Also, it's my last week, so I want to be relaxed at the last moment before graduation speech.
I have to give a speech next Friday anyway, so I'm gonna prepare for it this weekend.
My friend graduated today and she handed a bag of sweets over to many friends with a message.
She is said to be a good wife in the future because she's good at doing housework and cares about anything around her.
I'm gonna miss her and be the only Asian student in my class for a week.
The afternoon class was so difficult because we learned articles again.
The more I learned, the more confusing they become.
I hadn't known that singular countable noun can take "the" when it's general.
What sets it apart from plural or uncountable noun with generalization is a matter of personal preference.
I'm really confused again.
That's all today.
See you.
By the way, I drank las berry chocolate flappuccino at Starbucks.
It was the first time I'd tried flappuccino itself and it turned out to be delicious.
I had underestimated Starbucks.
It's still not worth going though cuz it costs an arm and a leg.
See you.

No idioms

It was the first time the morning class hadn't done any idioms.
I don't know what's changed her mind, but what we did in stead of those was less important.
The afternoon class was useful, but was boring too.
We are learning many expressions that make our English close to native speakers and it's absolutely great, but some of the other students' talks are as meaningless as taking the class of Shimizu, who was my Bible teacher and is off his head.
FYI, Shimizu was notorious for his craziness and incomprehensibility.
He retired when I was a high school student in my sophomore year, and if you excuse me, I'd like to introduce him to you.
First of all, we couldn't understand what he was saying basically.
His articulation was too awful to understand and he didn't realized it himself.
In addition, his writing on the board was illegible.
I should say it was impossible to read.
He scrawled and was totally messy.
Moreover, even though we didn't understand those, the test was too difficult to deal with.
He asked questions which hadn't been mentioned during the class.
I can't say it hadn't been covered because I couldn't understand his classes though.
But in the first place, he didn't use the Bible at all although it was a class of learning the Bible.
You may understand how zany he is, but there is one more story which makes you grasp how wacky he is.
His first wife had already passed away and he was married to another woman.
Surprisingly, she is Chinese and has three children.
The reason why he got married to her was that she was so poor that he couldn't abandon her.
He seemed to be generous, but I think he is an idiot and has no insight into how society works.
I mean, there is no love between them and she's just relying on his wealth and intended to come into his inheritance in the future.
She's just taking advantage of him.
He's faithful to God, but if somebody's idiotic, faithfulness can be also idiotic.
Anyway, he said he was going to write a book after his retirement, so I wanna know how it's going and how generous Christians are by seeing how many books will be sold.
I think even publishing it must be impossible though.
After school, I was going to go to the downtown and buy some souvenirs, but it started raining and my company broke the promise to go together, so I've decided to go to buy on Saturday because I'm going to go to the city for some reasons.
That's all.
Thanks.

Steak

The afternoon class was dead boring.
During the class, I told one Russian girl that the other students would never stop talking and she said it was a complete waste of time.
The other students are mainly new students from last week and they talk on and on.
The problem is their talks are merely boring.
I don't attend the class to hear their uninteresting talks.
She said it is the teacher's fault as she doesn't try to stop it.
I still learn many things from that class, but they are less than the previous class.
Anyway, after class, I went to a stake restaurant with my friends.
The restaurant is the second best restaurant in Auckland and it was absolutely great.
I ordered a steak with mushroom sauce and although it set me back 37 dollars, it was worth trying because it was meltingly tender and had a juicy taste.
After that, we went to an ice cream shop which was recommended by one of my friends and it was very good.
I realized that If I didn't care about the amount of the money, I could eat so much delicious food.
This is absolute pleasure, but I don't intend to go on eating as my habit.
This enjoyment is only this month.
I've been putting by money for the last month cuz I've wanted to relish the time in here so much.
I mean I could have enjoyed each month, but I knew that I was going to feel like spending money in my last month cuz it was the last month.
As I expected, I'm feeling the same and appreciating having been level-headed.
I'm gonna spend money like there was no tomorrow.
Can't wait!
That's all.
Thanks.

Touch Rugby

I think the morning class is getting better.
Whether it's good or not depends on whether it matches my need.
I mean today we did prepositions, phrasal verbs and articles.
There are still my problems and I probably won't see the end of them,
FYI, Verb tenses are a big problem though.
The afternoon class was better than yesterday, but it was still boring.
There is a tendency that students who aren't funny speak a lot.
By the way, two new students came to my class and one is German and another is Russian, so there are 5 or 6 German and 3 Russian in my class.
There are two Japanese including me and when she graduates this week, I'm gonna be the only one Asian student in my class.
This remarkably shows that the Asian are not good at English at all as I've been saying.
Anyway, I'm leaving in two weeks, so I don't need to care about this.
After I graduate, the class will be without the Asian though.
I'm glad to finish in this highest class cuz it makes me a little confident.
I don't know what's changed from April, but at least I can say I can speak English, so that seems to be good.
I've got an ambition that I want to study at foreign university.
It's highly unlikely to be achieved, but some day, I wanna realize it.
After school, I played touch rugby again, but there were too many players and it wasn't fun at all.
Basically, they didn't know the rule and that it was messy.
Running back, throwing forward, not following the player who has the ball, standing forward the player...
It wasn't a game at all.
There were only 8 players last time and even though we had to run so much, we had so much fun.
I didn't understand why many people wanted to play touch rugby.
See you.

Souvenirs

In the morning, I went to McDonald's and bought a cheeseburger.
I think Japanese one is better than it.
Also, fries are worse than Burger King's because it's perhaps leftover from the morning.
Anyway, the afternoon class was so boring that I was silent almost all the time.
It wasn't because of the teacher, but because of the students in my class.
They speak pretty well, but their talks were so boring.
I didn't understand some of them and didn't focus on studying.
This fact puts me off studying in that class.
We'll have new students tomorrow so I hope they'll change how the class is,
After school, I went to buy souvenirs in a supermarket.
My family has asked me to buy some sweets and I got to get all of them in the supermarket.
I have to go to a souvenir shop to buy more some day though.
By the way it cost me 40 dollars just to buy sweets and honey.
I have to ask my parents to pay for them.
See ya.

Escapism

On Saturday, I didn't do anything but to watch Yuyuhakusyo.
I've got cold feet (which means marriage blue in Japanese).
It's a metaphor for being reluctant to study English by thinking about going back to Japan.
This is what's called "escapism"
Thinking about English, part-time job, university and etc makes me upset because it's so complex.
So I chose the way I didn't need to care about anything like that.
Watching Yuyuhakusyo was recommended by my friend, but it wasn't so interesting as she had said.
I hope it'll be better as the story continues.
On Sunday, I was going to go to Rangitoto which is a famous island for its view, but I changed my mind and decided not to go because the fare of ferry is 28 dollars and there is nothing but to walk up the mountain in Rangitoto.
So I stayed at home and studied a lot to make up for the delay of yesterday.
That's all.
Thanks.

Karaoke

In the morning, I attended conversation club as usual, but it was an experiment.
There had to be Marian who used to be my teacher and is very good, but there was a fat lady.
On seeing her, I realized she is Naomi who is temporary teaching intermediate class behalf of Marian who is temporary teaching the other class behalf of the other teacher who has been on holiday now.
According my friends, she is so boring, so I wanted to know how boring she is and it turned out that she is actually boring and I ended up regretting having attended it.
I think she isn't enthusiastic and powerful.
In my opinion, teachers have to be so dynamic that students don't get bored and become sleepy.
She lacks the important thing as a teacher.
Anyway, after that, there was graduation speech and one of my friend gave a lengthy speech which lasted for more than 10 minutes.
If I hadn't known her, I would've been annoyed, but I knew her so I didn't care.
As evidence, there was a man who also gave a lengthy speech and I got annoyed by that.
The afternoon class was as usual.
After school, I went to a karaoke with my friends.
It is a Korean store, but it's got a variety of Japanese songs.
But the quality of the equipment was significantly lower than Japanese's one, so it was hard to hear my voice while singing.
It was so fun though.
Then, I went to a Ramen restaurant and ate Wafu Tonkotsu Ramen whose base might have been Katsuobushi and pork.
It was tasty but wasn't the best one.
That's all today.
By the way, I've been attacked by frequent urination lately.
I usually come to feel like peeing within three hours.
I don't know why it's happening, but I get the call not in bladder but at the edge of my penis.
It has to be because urine has come to the edge, but I don't feel my bladder have been filled with it by the time when I get the call.
I think there's something wrong with my bladder.
See you.
