Fu-Lin Restaurant in Seattle WA

Our friend wanted to go to Fu-Lin, a Taiwanese restaurant, in Seattle WA locating right next to the China town gate.

512 S King St
(between S 5th Ave & S 6th Ave)

It turns out it was a Taiwanese Japanese restaurant. We started with pot stickers. Really yummy and tasted like the ones in Japan.

Juicy buns... these were Chinese style.

Tonkotsu ramen... it was one of the best in Seattle.

Beef rice... Chinese style.

Tonkatsu... It had a bit of Chinese taste, but good.

Chicken liver with veggies. Just like the ones you get at Chinese restaurants in Japan.

Really enjoyed all the dishes. I can't believe we didn't know about this restaurant. They were really cheap too.

I feel like going back again.

Vietnamese Kebab +

Hubby's been cooking a lot lately. Today, he wanted to try out making Vietnamese Kebab and Collar green vegie dish.

As always, I opened up a bottle of wine while waiting for the meals to be ready. This is a whole foods brand. Not bad.

The Kebab looks like Indian Kebab, but tasted very different. I liked it a lot!

Red Lantern in Seattle

Yeah, we are back again. Our friends wanted to try out Red Lantern, Korean Chinese, in Seattle.

Since they give you a lot of food, we ordered 3 main for 4 people. Since one friend is a vegetarian, we ordered 2 vegetarian dishes.

...and seafood spicy noodles.

They were good! I bet we will be back here soon.

Saigon Deli in Seattle WA is known for one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches in the Seattle area, but we had never tried them before.

First of all, look at the prices! So cheap!

There were a lot of side dishes.

We got 2 sandwiches and one side dish. All for... I think about 10 dollars.

Everything we got was excellent! I think these are comparable to the ones we get in Vancouver Canada, but this shop is much closer.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Redmond WA

Hubby wanted to try out this new BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Redmond WA.

It had a mixed reviews so we didn't have a high expectation, but when we got there, the restaurant had a very nice feel to it.

There are a huge list of beer selections. Hubby ordered one.

I had a handmade margarita. It was not a water down drink. It was a real margarita.

Had a salad and calamari appetizer. This calamari appetizer was one of the best.

We decided to share a hamburger. It was a good idea.

We were already full, but since I signed up to be a premier member (free), we got this dessert for free too.

It was a bit too sweet for me, but not bad at all. I'm glad that we came here for lunch not for dinner. We are so full!!

There are so many parks in Washington. Some are big, and some are small. So we have a plenty of selections when we want to take a walk. We decided to take a walk around the lake in Kirkland WA.

This is a parking meter for boats. If you want to park your boat, you pay using this machine.

Bridge fell down!

There was a huge news last night about a bridge falling down into a river. It is really scary... This is a major bridge on i5 freeway. We always use it to go to Canada.

This is the last pic I took of the bridge before the incident.

We need to find another way to go to Canada now...

Kebab dinner!

The other day, I saw this Solar compactor in Kirkland.

I assume it compacts trash by using solar power. That is a wonderful idea!
