Divali or the " festival of Lights " is celebrated
by the Hindu community worldwide. It commemorates the return of Lord Rama &
his wife Sita back to Ayodhya after being exiled from an evil king.
The people lit earthern lamps to guide them back home

It also signals the end of the harvest season
so Mother Lakshmi is also worshipped in this holiday as people pray to her
for good luck and prosperity in the next season.

I went to my friend Nirvana's house for Divali.
I wore a black Shalwar Kameez with these silver workings that made it really
really heavy. I got to her house at like minutes to 6pm. Her boyfriend , sisters& parents greeted me warmly. Since it was 6 we began to set the deyas up. We
lit em all over on the fence , the jandi and her balcony. It looked so pretty
afterwards.

The three of us then went up and had dinner together. Her bf is really nice.
Had traditional Indian food like Roti , curry vegetables and rice for desert
chocolate ice-cream.

More of her cousins and family came. Then we decided to go for a walk.
Her cousin came in a long ass Sari and decides to join us and we had to walk up the road at snail's pace. The neighbourhood was beautiful. Bamboo arches ,
the star arches , deyas every single place , kids playing with starlights
and occasional fireworks. It looked really beautiful under the yellow light
of the street lamps.

We walked up to a school mate of mine Aarti's home. Well she had those lamps
lining the whole street. We stayed for a while then we walked back down.
Some people on dune buggy's racing past us. Stayed for a bit and then I called
dad to come pick me up.

We then went to pick Kiev up at his friend's house in Rousillac.
Rousillac was alight with deyas , it was pretty smoky & the air was full of
firecarackers , bamboo bursting , carbide exploding and fireworks. My brother's friend's neighbourhood was quiet though. Just the deyas flicking on the fences
and yards quietly.
I enjoyed the drive and I had a good day otherwise <3

TOXIC nails

So in honour of GazettE's new album TOXIC some girls over at Tumblr had a mini fan project..where all those participating would paint their nails black with a
glittery overcoat. So here is mine :

Red Bull Flugtag

Took this while trapped in traffic for 4hrs｡ﾟ(T^T)ﾟ｡

Traffic jam.

Me , my older cousin and my brother had planned to attend
this since June. We left cuz's house at 6:45 am. Got doubles and gas for the car......and we returned at noon. ・°・(ノД｀)・°・. Why ?

- Traffic backed up all the way from the Beetham to Williams Bay
- We were in that traffic for 4 hrs on a distance that takes 3 mins on a normal day,
-Traffic either moved slowly or was at a total standstill
- We weren't even halfway there ( still had to go through Westmoorings and Carenage )
- People gave up on the traffic and began a 3 hr walk to the Bay
- People were inline skating between cars , sharing alcohol , beating tassa and dancing
- We were losing our sanity amongst the cars.

We ended up turning back at the Forshore lookout. Planned to go the Maracas but weather wasn't good then planned to go Movie Towne but didn't.

So we just watched the Flugtag on livestream at my cousin's house.
Team Obi wanted Red Bull won their craft went 52 ft majority of the others just nose dived after they went off the ramp lol. Still it was a good day.

A State of Trance 500.Armin van Buuren's weekly trance highlight show hit 500 episodes.To commemorate the 500th anniversary he held shows on 5 cities that lasted
for 12 hrs. Johannesburg , South Africa ,
Miami , Florida , Buenos Aires , Argentina Den Bosch , The Netherlands ,
Sydney , Australia

Couldn't go (｡＞0＜｡) so listened to it via live stream. Only got to listen to the Miami and Den Bosch shows though. Nevertheless I had fun listening to it with 3 friends from AVEN. I mean we spammed and caps raped AVEN chat , our statuses , JFF & the Trance thread for the Miami show. Strivy stayed there for 9 hrs and updated all the set lists.I liked the Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren sets.Ferry played a song I love :

When it came on Spazzed Seriously. Even once during, the show went down and WE Were like Twitter Armin CRASHED TWITTER OO They Kicked him off then and Trends. Trance power was too much LOL. But I really enjoyed Myself. (≧ ▽ ≦)
