BSLA最終日、感動のフィナーレ～僕たちの夏は終わらない～

こんにちわ。日記のラストを飾る　味方勇人　です。

今日はついにBSLA最終日。
この日のために何日寝ないでプレゼンテーションの準備をしてきたかわかりません。

まず、昼間はUSCで日本紹介プレゼンを行いました。
USCの学生が約２００人ほど集まった中で行いました。
最初は本当に緊張して、何を話していいのかもわからなかったのですが、プレゼンを進めるにつれ、学生の反応も良くなり、最後には拍手喝さいで歓声まで起こりました。
こんな大人数の前でしかも英語でプレゼンすることはもちろん初めてでしたが、うまくいって本当によかったです。
BSLA最終日にふさわしいイベントだと心から思いました。

午後は、ここ二日間徹夜で作り上げてきたビジネスプランの発表です。
時間がない中作りあげたプレゼンテーションだったので少し、至らない点があったかもしれませんが、僕たちのできる精一杯を出し切ることができたのではないかと思います。
終わった時にはこれまでお世話になった方々の顔や仲間との思い出が次々と蘇ってきました。

その後、BSLAの卒業式がありました。
皆でおいしい中華料理を食べ、思い出話しに花を咲かせ、本当に楽しい時間を過ごしました。

最後に卒業証書授与式が行われました。
一人ひとり、今回のBSLAを通し感じたことや、成長したこと、今後の展望などを皆さんの前で語りました。
僕は皆さんに伝えたいことがたくさんあったのに、感情を抑えることができず涙を流してしまい伝えたいことの半分も話すことができませんでした。

伝えきれなかった思いをこの一言にのせて。

「BSLAに関わった全ての方々へ。本当にありがとうございました。」

Hello. I'm Yuto Ajikata.
This is the last diary of BSLA 2010 summer.

Today is the last day of BSLA program.
I don't know how much time paid for this last presentation.
In the morning , we did presentation of Japanese introduction at USC.
The audiences were about 200 people.

First I was so nervous and I didn't know what should I say but through the presentation
,student's reaction was getting better.
This was the first time to do presentation in English in front of a lot of people like that.
I was really relieved because we could do presentation well.

In the afternoon we did presentation of new business plans.
Because we didn't have enough time to prepare the presentation, we might not have done good
presentation but we did our best.
When I finished my presentation, I brought back many pleasant memories of BSLA

After that we held graduation ceremony of BSLA.
We spoke about what we learned through BSLA, how we grew or what we want to be.
Actually I had a lot of things I wanted to tell you but I couldn't hold back my tears and
tell even half of my feeling.
I want to tell you rest of the feeling with using this short words.

都ハイブリッドホテル見学

こんにちは！

今日は都ハイブリッドホテルで気持ちよく目覚めました。

10時半から色々な部屋や施設を案内してもらいました。スイートルームは特に圧巻でした。将来、是非とも泊まりに行きたいです。

午後は次の日に行くノートルダム高校に行くために、日本紹介プレゼンの練習をしました。お互いまだまだ詰めなくてはいけないことがたくさんあったので徹夜で頑張りたいです。

ノートルダム高校は個人的にもホームステイをさせてもらった生徒がいるので行くのが非常に楽しみです。

残り少ないですが、充実した日を過ごしたいです。

It was a very good morning to get up at Miyako Hybrid Hotel.

From 10:30 the hotel man showed me a lot of kind room. Sweetroom was especially awesome. In the future I want to visit again.

In the afternoon, we practiced Japanese introduction presentation in order to go to Nortoldam High School. Every presentation needs to improve so I want to do over night.

And Nortoldam High School is a school where my host friend goes so I’m looking forward to it.

We don’t have that many days left for the program but we want to keep on going.

ホームステイ最終日

こんにちわ
エスキです。

一昨日からホームステイをしていてました。

ホームステイ先の人がすごく優しく、あらゆる場所に連れて行ってもらいホントに感動しています。

ホストファミリー同士が仲が良いので、今日は4グループ一緒にベニスビーチに行ってきました。

ベニスビーチには、ミニテニス、バスケット、などスポーツ施設があったり、道沿いにお店がたくさん並んでいました。活気のある街だなと思いました。

ビーチでショッピングしたり、砂場でゲームをしたり、遊んだり、すごく楽しかったです。けど、最後のお別れの時は、とてもさみしかったです。また、ホストファミリーの人に会いに行きたいな。

今日は、都Hybrit hotel でゆっくり休んで明日に備えようと思います。

I had stayed American student's house from two days ago.

They are very kind and They give me to go to some place.

Today, We go to VeniceBeach with other hostfamily .

There are sports facilitys and shops in VeniceBeach. Venice Beach is lively .

We had a enjoy time that go shopping and play game in beach .
When We get away , I am very sad .

I visit in miyako hybrit hotel. I want to go to bed.

こんにちは！
たすくです。

昨日からアメリカの高校生の家でホームステイをしています。
広い庭、大きいテレビ、ふわふわベッド等今までに体験したことのないぐらいゴージャスな体験をしています。アメリカの上流層の方々の暮らしは本当にすごいと実感しました。ホストファミリーも非常に優しく、感動しています。
今日の昼はチャイナタウンに行った後、寿司バーでたくさんお寿司を食べました。日本に負けず劣らずおいしかったです。ピザばかりの生活だったので、とっても嬉しかったです。その後はホームステイ先の高校生と一緒に20世紀少年を見て、ディスカッションしました。明日でホームステイが終わってしまうのがとてもさみしいです；；

Hello!
I'm TASK.

I stayed American high school student's house. They have a wide garden, a big TV, and soft bed. I have very good experience here. I feel that American rich people's life is great. Host family is very kind and I was impressed.
We went to China town in afternoon. After that, we went to Sushi-bar. I ate sushi very much. It's very delicious! I’m very glad having sushi because I always ate pizza.
Afterwards, I watched 20th century boys with high school student, and discussed.
I'm very sad that staying home is end tomorrow.

8月27日　大学にて初めての日本紹介プレゼンテーション！

こんにちは！栗田真帆です。

今日はUSC(University of Southern California）に行って、日本紹介のプレゼンテーションをしてきました！

日本語のクラスに行き、発表をした後はUSCの学生達と日本語の会話の練習をしてきました。初めてBSLAメンバーの前以外の場でプレゼンテーションしてきましたが、みんな興味深そうに聞いてくれました。思っていたより日本の街や食べ物に詳しく、日本に興味をもってもらえていることが嬉しかったです。

アメリカの大学のキャンパスは自然に囲まれて広々としていて、歩いていてとても気持ちがいいです。

そして夜からは２泊３日のホームステイです。初めてみんなバラバラになって、アメリカの生活を体験してきます！

Hello. This is Maho Kurita.

Today we went to University of Southern California and gave some presentations to introduce Japan.

We visited some Japanese classes and gave presentations. After that, we talked with students in Japanese and help them speak Japanese. It was the first time for us to give presentations in front of those who are not BSLA members. Everyone in the class listened to us with interest. They knew more Japanese towns and foods than I expected, and I was happy that they were interested in Japan.

The campuses of universities in America are very large and are surrounded by nature, so it’s very comfortable to walk around there.

From this evening, we are doing a home stay for 3 days 2 nights. It is the first time for us to spend a few days apart. We are excited experiencing American life!

ホテル業界に関するレクチャー

更新遅くなってすいません

２回目の登場の東京大学文科２類の林俊助です

８月26日は某ホテルの支配人の方にホテル業界のレクチャーをしていただきました！！

ご本人のホテル業界に携わるにいたった経歴は普通とは違い興味深かったです。

また日本とアメリカのホテル業界の違いを細かく説明していただき非常に役にも立ちました。

そして何より何日ぶりとも言える日本食にありつけました

すごくおいしくいただけました。

食事をしながらの講義でしたが、みんなが真剣にに聞いていて、質問も活発にかわせれていて、とても有意義な時間をすごしたと思いますo(^▽^)o

午後は、高校生や大学生向けにやる日本紹介のプレゼンをみんなで精査していきました。

合計６つのチームが異なるテーマを発表し合いました。

みんなとても興味深いもの作っており、ダンスをおりまぜたり、レポーター制度をとりいれたりと、また一つプレゼンの面白さをみんなから学べましたヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

みんなと過ごせる時間ももう少し。。。

残り少ない時間、学べることを最大限学んでいきたいと思います

Hi, this is shunsuke.

26th August, we went to a hotel and had a lecture about the hotel industry from the general manager.

We learn the difference of hotel between Japan and America, Besides, the general manager's career was so interesting.

Everybody listen to the lecture seriously and we had a lot of questions. It was a nice time.

And... we had Japanese lunch It was so delicious!!

In the afternoon, we checked our presentation which will be done for high school students and university students.

Every team made interesting presentations and I learn a lot from them.

BSLA is drawing to a end...

I will continue doing my best.

こんばんは！渡部美希です。

本日はサンフランシスコ2日目。快晴で涼しくすがすがしい朝です。そして企業訪問までしばし観光^^

まずはフィッシャーマンズワーフで、定番のクラムチャウダーをみんなで食しました！

その後ぶらぶらした後、ケーブルカーに乗っていざユニオンスクエアへ。

ケーブルカーで感じる風とそこから見渡す景色は最高でしたー！そして建物が西洋的で素敵！

そしてそして今日は小林さんというエコノミストの方からお話を伺いました。

衝撃的で、日本のブラックな部分を見た気がしてショックでした。

小林さんは日本の視点というより、グローバルな視点をもった方だと思いました。

これからキャリア形成をする上で企業の見方が変わる気がします。

私にとって2回目のサンフランシスコは以前よりも充実したものになりました！

ＬＡに帰るのがさびしいです;;

Good evening, I'm Miki Watabe.

Today is a second day of San Francisco. This morning was beautiful and cool. Then we had sightseeing until the visit to company.

At first we went to Fishermans Wharf and ate popular clum chauder. And then, walk alound there and went to Union Squre ride the cable car. The refreshing wind and view from the cable car was very much. These structure were grate!

And today we met Ms. Kobayashi. She is a Economist.

It was shocked for me and I felt see something like dark points.

I thought Ms. Kobayashi's view points were grobal rather than Japanese way of thinking.

From now I'll change my mind for job hunting.

It was massive day for me more than in past.

I miss San Francisco already;;

A社訪問

　こんにちは。わっこです。

　本日はつねにユーザーを魅了する商品を開発し続けることで、世界的にとても大きな影響を与えているA社に訪問しました。

　A社のエントランスホールは１階から４階までの吹き抜けになっており、ガラス張りの壁からは光が差し込んで、オフィス全体が明るい雰囲気でした。一歩外に出れば緑あふれる広場があり、クリエイティブで開放感のある環境です。

　お話を聞いたのは、西堀さん、細井さん、矢部さん、木田さん、の４人の方たち。デザイン、エンジニア、営業などさまざまな分野で活躍されている日本人です。

　オーラが漂っていました。

　お話の中で感じたのは、どなたも日本とアメリカの違いをしっかり把握していること。そして、自分の職業観を持っていること。

　この会社に憧れを抱くだけでなく、学生という限られた時間の中で何をすべきか、考えるきっかけになり、とても有意義な時間を過ごせました。

Today I visited the A corporation which impact on the whole world.

The A corporation has an entrance hall built in wellhole style and wall glassed in.

The office is bright.

And there is the green large place out of the office.

The A corporation has the environment of creative and free.

We talked with Mr.Nishibori , Mr.Hosoi ,Mr.Yabe and Mr.Kida.
They were Japanese who flourish any kinds of fields like a designer, engineer.
They had a aura.

In this dialogue , we knew that they thought the difference between Japan and America and had a view of job.
We had a longing for this company.

We thought what doing in limited time.

So we had a good time.

シリコンバレーツアー初日！

ロスのダウンタウンを離れ、San Franciscoに到着です。
本日はシリコンバレーツアーです。
世界的に有名なIT企業を巡回しました。

hello. this is Riki.
we arrived at San Francisco from LA Downtown.
today, we had one-day silicon valley tour and visited world famous IT companies.

ヒューレットパッカードが生まれたガレージ！
Hewlett-Packard was born in this garage !

電気自動車のベンチャー企業、テスラモーターズ。
Tesra motors venture company of electric vehicle.

Yahoo本社ビルにて全員集合！
Yahoo building!

intel！

どの会社も明るくて、働いている社員の方々ものびのびとしているのを感じました。

これらの規模の企業が、たった数年のうちに出来上がるのはIT業界ならではです
ただ、シリコンバレーは空ビルも多く、業界の厳しさを知る一面もありました。

また必ずや、仕事で来たいと思います！

those companies looked like so shiny and i felt employees enjoy their own work.
but those very big companies are founded in a few years. that's amazing.
then there are a lot of vacant building in silicon valley, so i also felt IT business is so strict.

i'll be back in this place on business!

8月23日マーケティング戦略立案

こんにちは。齋藤です。

今日は某飲料品メーカーのオフィスに行き、4チームに分かれてマーケティング戦略立案のプレゼンテーションをしてきました。
最後の最後までほとんど徹夜で準備していた人も多かったのではないでしょうか。

支社長をはじめ、十数人の社員の方々を目の前にして発表し、最も評価が高かったチームには豪華な景品が贈られました。

終わってから、プロジェクトを完成させたときの気分というのはこういうものなのかと思いました。
一通り山を越したので、明日からのサンフランシスコ訪問が楽しみです！

Hello, I'm Yoshio.

We visited a beverage company and made presentations by separated 4 teams.
I think everybody might prepared all night to the very end.

Except for Branch Manager, eleven staffs watched our presentations, and most regarded team was presented luxury gifts.

After the presentation, I felt a sense of achievement like finishing project.
We have got the busy schedule over, so I expect going to Sanfrancisco very much!
