いよいよ大詰め

こんばんわ。
岡田です。

明日はとうとう最終日で、ビジネスプランの発表です。
そのため、今日は一日の大半をビジネスぷらんの作成に時間を注ぎました。

この一カ月の集大成といっても過言ではないので、みんな必死に取り組んでいます。
ちなみに今は夜中の４時ですが、まだまだ終わりそうにありません。。

仲間と議論を重ね、一つのものを作り上げていくのは本当に楽しいですね。
もちろん大変なこともたくさんありますが、それ以上にやりがいが大きいです。
一体感とかそういったものを多く感じられます。
こんな体験は久しぶりなので、とても充実した毎日を過ごすことができています。

ともあれ、みんなとの共同生活もとうとう明日で終わってしまうと思うと、本当に寂しく感じますね。
この時間がずっと続けばいいのになとさえおもいます。

とにかく、明日は最高のプレゼンができるようにベストを尽くしたいと思います。
そして、晴れやかな姿で卒業したいです。

プログラムを通じて関わりをもって頂いた全ての方々、本当にありがとうございました。

Hello I'm okada.

Tomorrow is the last day ,finally　we will make a presentation of business plan.
so,
We have created a business plan for all day.

Tomorrow is the culmination of the program。So,Everyone is working frantically.
Now is at four in the middle of the night,Still not likely to end task .

I enjoyed making a presentation.
I think making a presentation is very challenging
So,I can spend every day was very fulfilling.

I feel really lonely because program will end tomorrow.

Anyway, I try to do my best.
and, I want to graduate with a radiant appearance.

こんばんは!

三回目の登場の島田有香子です。

ほんとに時間が過ぎるのは早いものですね・・・we

この前アメリカに来たばっかなのにって思う今日この頃です。

今日は久しぶりに朝ゆっくり寝れてすっきりした目覚めを迎えました！

昼以降はKaiさんの課題のpromotionについて考えました。

化粧品、お菓子、車の三つのグループに分かれて

どのようにその商品を宣伝し、Salesを伸ばすかということについてプレゼンをつくりました。

わたしは化粧品のグループだったのですが、

宣伝から消費者の購買意欲につなげるのが難しいなとかんじました。

あと、宣伝の一貫性というか、クーポンで安っぽいイメージをつくってしまうのか、

ＣＭにでれる権利とかつくってhigな感じで売るのか、、、みたいな。

余談ですが、今日アパートの近くにある、前から気になっていたｽﾀﾊﾞの隣のクッキー屋さんでクッキーとブラウニーを買ったのですが、とってもおいしかったです！

甘いものは、やっぱり幸せな気分にしてくれますね（*^^*）

今からまたビジネスプランに戻ります！

あさっては卒業式で発表なのでがんばって詰めていかなきゃ・・・

振り出しからという事で、今晩も頑張りたいと思います＾＾

time is passing soooo fast......

it was a pleasant morning today because i could sleep enough!!

we thought about promotion that is an assinment from Mr.Kai.

we separated 3 groups, cosmetics and snacks and cars,

and thought that how to promote sales by using internet promotion.

i was in a cosmetic group, and i found it is difficult to relate sales with ad.

also, i found that is is important to make consistant ad.

for example, adding cheap image with issuing coupon or adding image of high brand by added value.

to digress from the subject, there is yammy cookies and brawny shop near our apartment.

its taste is really nice and i felt happy :D

from now on we'll back to business plan.....

i'll do my best!!!!

こんにちは
京都大学経済学部経営学科4回生の青木俊憲です。

今日はノートルダム高校で国際文化を発表するイベントがあり、
私たちは日本文化を発表しました。
震災から一年ということもあり、全校生徒が黙祷を捧げ、
私たちは日本語を勉強している生徒と一緒に「千の風になって」を合唱しました。
1000人以上の高校生達と歌を通じて一体となる経験は非常に心に残りました。

その後、書道や剣玉、お茶、折り紙などの日本の伝統文化を高校生に教えました。
みんな楽しんで遊び、たくさん吸収してくれました！
日本の文化に実際にふれ、より日本を好きになってくれていれば良かったなと思いました。

今後も彼らとは連絡をとり一生続く関係になれば本当にいいなと思います。
それでは！

Hi, I'm Toshinori Aoki from Kyoto university, faculty of Economics.

Today we had international cultual exchange event at Notre Dame High school.
We told Japanse culture to the students there.
One year has passed since Great east earthquake in Japan, therefore we sung 'sennokazeninatte' with students studying Japanse.
I won't forget the experience to have same atmosphere with more than 1,000 students.

After that we taught Japanese traditional culture to students.
We are glad that everyone enjoyed and learned a lot.
I hope that everyone like Japan more and more through this experience.

We hope keeping in touch with them.

Business Plan 1st draft

こんにちは。
立命館大学経営学部2回生、井垣　純です。
プログラムも残り6日となりました。
今日は経営コンサルタント、カークさんへのビジネスプラン、1st.ドラフトの発表でした。
前日からみんなほとんど寝ずに準備したようで、とても疲れているようでした。
私自身も昨日は4時にベッドにつき、朝からビジネスプランに取り組みました。
このビジネスプランでは8人の学生を２つのチームに分けて、それぞれのチームでビジネスプランを練ります。
規模条件は設立5年目で売上10億ドルと、世界を変えるようなプランを作れとの条件でした。
私たちは、購入前の服や家具をアバターを通してコーディネートしてくれるアプリを考えて提出しました。
カークさんから多数の厳しいコメントを頂き、ビジネスの大変さを知りました。
10日に控えたファイナルドラフトの発表まで、プランを練り直してブラッシュアップしていきたいと思います。
明日はノートルダム高校で、日本文化を紹介します。

I’m Igaki Jun from Ritsumeikan University.
Only 6 days left, and we gotta leave on March 10.
Today, we made a pitch of our business plan as 1st draft.
We prepared and practiced a lot, and some students seem to be lack of sleep.
I slept at 4 am and got a move on our projects.
We are divided two groups, and each group has to come up with one idea.
Requirement on this project is 10billion sales and changing the world.
We came up with the app which offers us coordinate of our clothing and furniture through avatar.
We got a very severe feedback from Mr. Kirk and knew difficulties of business.
We will have final draft on 10th.
We are going to introduce Japanese culture.

Japan Foundation ＆高校生との交流

こんにちは。安田です。
今日は２日分のブログを書きます！

３月３日（土）
昨日は、Japan Foundationを訪問しました。
そこで、日本語の勉強をしているアメリカ人の方々の授業に参加しました。
私がお話をした２人の女性はそれぞれ、日本との貿易をする仕事に就きたい方と日本の映画プロダクションで働きたい方でした。
２人とも現在、仕事をしながら週末に日本語の勉強をしておられました。私は学生という身分で学業を本文にしていますが、彼女たちの夢を実現したい姿勢を見て本当に頭が下がる思いでした。
これまで交流したアメリカの高校生や大学生も一生懸命勉強していましたが、社会人になっても勉強しているアメリカの方々に接して、自分自身もよりいっそう頑張らなければならないと痛感しました。
その後、近くのホテルの最上階に夜景を見に行きました。
ロサンゼルスの夜景は本当に美しく、感動しました。
帰宅後、月曜日に１回目の発表があるビジネスプラン（グループの部）について各班で話し合いをしました。各班とも、夜遅くまで議論をしていました。

３月４日（日）
今日は、先日交流した高校生が私たちの滞在先のアパートに遊びに来ました。
「日本の食べ物を食べさせてあげよう！」ということで、お好み焼きを作って一緒に食べました。
たこ焼きは食べたことがある人が多かったのですが、お好み焼きは初めて食べたそうです。食事の後、日本の音楽についての話で盛り上がり、皆でカラオケに行きました。
高校生は日本の音楽について非常に詳しく、彼らと一緒に盛り上がりました。

今日も、明日のビジネスプランの発表について各班で話し合いをしています。
良いプランが作れるように全員が頑張っています。
BSLAも残すところ後１週間です。
BSLA 12期の集大成に向けて、全員が一丸となって取り組んでいきたいと思います。

Today, I will write blog for two days.

March 3, 2012 (Sat.)
Yesterday, we visited The Japan Foundation.
We communicated with American persons, who study Japanese there.
I talked with two women. One woman wants to get a job with a trading company. The other woman wants to get a job with Japanese movie studio.
Both persons work now and study Japanese every weekend.
When I was exposed to their attitude toward their future, I admired them.
American high school students and college students, whom I talked with until now, study hard. Also, American people, who work now, study hard. Therefore, I felt that I must study hard as well as them.
Afterward, we went to the top floor in a hotel, which is near our apartment.
We all were moved by Los Angels’ night view because it is very beautiful.
After we came our apartment, we talked about Business Plan, which we will present next Monday, by group.
Every group debated plans until midnight.

March 4, 2012 (Sun.)
Today, high school students, whom we saw last Monday and Tuesday, visited our apartment.
We served them Okonomiyaki. They have eaten Takoyaki. But they ate Okonomiyaki for the first time.
After we ate it, we went to Karaoke. They know Japanese music in detail and sang various sings.

We are debating the Business Plan now.
All member sticks at the Plan.

こんにちは　北畠沙瑛です。

昨日は１日オフだったのでサンディエゴのシーワールドに行きました！
水族館とアトラクションが充実していて、とても楽しかったです。

シーワールドの魅力は、色々な動物のショーが見れることです。
私たちは、アシカショー、イルカショー、シーライオンショーを見ました。
中でも印象に残ったのは、シーライオンショーです。
シーライオンの迫力とパフォーマンスに感動しました。
見ないと損です！

また、シーワールドは水を使ったアトラクションが多く、ずぶ濡れになりながら、楽しみました。
私を含め、女子３人がじゃんけんで負けて、渓流下りを４回乗りました。
ぼろぼろになりましたが、すごく楽しかったです。

こうしてサンディエゴへのショートトリップは終わりました。

今日からは、また切り替えてビジネスプランを考えるのを頑張りたいと思います。

Hello, I’m Sae Kitabatake.
Yesterday we went to the Sea World in San Diego.
There are many fish and attractions so we enjoyed all day.

The charms of Sea World are we can see many shows of animals.
We saw　seal show, dolphin show, and sea lion show.
The most impressive show was sea lion show, because of its force and performance.

And there are many water attractions. So we got extremely wet, but it was so excited!!
Including me three of girls rode attraction of mountain stream four times.
Our appearance was so bad, but we enjoyed.

Anyway our short trip was finished.

We have to consider Business Plan from today!

San Diego Trip!!! :)

こんにちわ、3回目になりますが、玉岡靖弘です。
今回は３日間パソコンを持っていかずにサンディエゴにショートトリップに行ってきたので、自分は半分の2日分について書きたいと思います。

最初の日はサンディエゴに着いた後、CIBUのグローバルマーケティングの授業に参加させて頂きました。
CIBUの学生は自分たちのプレゼンをすごい真剣に聞いてくれて、経済についてプレゼンをしたときには、先生を始め多くの人から質問をされました。
その時に質問にちゃんと答えることが出来なかったので、少し悔しかったです。次は答えられるようにしたいです。

授業の後は、ピザパーティーをしました。
そこでフランス人の人と仲良くなり、彼女たちがインターンをしているカフェにより、クレープをごちそうになりました。

２日目は午前中にFIDMの授業に参加させてもらいました。デザイン学校ということもあり、生徒の方々は発想や考え方が非常に面白くて、一緒にプレゼンを行ったり、聞いたりしてとても面白かったです。

その後は、急いでサンディエゴのコンサルティングファームに向かい、メキシコについて軽くプレゼンをした後に、会計士をなされている方からビジネスについてと半生について深いお話を伺いました。話の内容はヨットを太平洋を１９歳の時に横断した話や、マフィアの話などなどとても興味深い話ばかりでとても楽しかったです。
その後、オールドタウンで一緒にメキシコ料理を食べながら楽しくお話をしました。

I’m Yasuhiro.
I will write about San Diego but we do not bring laptop computers during short trip. Therefore, I will write about 2 days of short trip. Then, Sae will write about 3rd day of short trip.
1st day, we participated in a global marketing class in CIBU and we had presentations about Japan. CIBU students seriously to listen our presentation so they ask so many questions but I cannot answer them. After that, I decided to improve my English and erase my shyness.
After its class, we went to a crepe café because we were invited its café while a pizza party.
1st day in San Diego is very fun and interesting for me to learn many things!!

2nd day, we went to FIDM and participate in a class. Students in FIBU have creativity and interesting ideas. We discussed trend in Japan and America. It is so interesting.
After that, we hurry to go to the consulting firm in San Diego and had presentations and listen to business in Mexico and interesting story which is about trip between Japan to Canada with a sailing boat. It is very interesting for me because its story is so unique!!
After that, we had a dinner in old town. Mexican food is so delicious. I come to like Mexican food.

2 days in San Diego is very fun! I want to come and back here again!:)A

ジャパンプレゼン二日目！

こんにちは、吉野です。

今日も昨日に引き続き、ノートルダム高校へ行き、日本語１，２のクラスの子たちへ

日本のコマーシャル、東日本大震災、日本のサブカルチャー、伝統文化についてプレゼンテーションをしました。

各班に分かれて、一週間前ほどから私たちはプレゼンテーションを準備してきました。

コマーシャルでは日本の独特なＣＭを紹介しました。ノートルダムの子たちがプレゼンテーション中笑ったりしていて、とてもおもしろそうに見ていました。

東日本大震災では、東日本大震災の概要、ボランティア、福島第一原子力発電所、震災の復興についてプレゼンテーションをしました。

震災は少し日本語１，２のクラスの子たちには難しいかもしれないと懸念されていましたが、プレゼンテーション中生徒の子たちはとても真剣に私たちの用意した動画やスライドを見ていました。

日本のサブカルチャーでは、日本で人気のある音楽を紹介しました。今日本で人気のあるアイドルグループや、女性歌手、男性歌手などをたくさんの生徒の子たちが知っているようでした。

そのあと歌舞伎と茶道についてプレゼンテーションをし、昨日と同様にお茶を生徒たちにふるまいました。

抹茶をお茶碗全部飲んで美味しい！と言っている子もいて驚きました。お茶をふるまうことは昨日と同様大好評でした。

最後にノートルダムの生徒の子も日本についてのプレゼンテーションをしてくれました。日本のホワイトデーとお正月についてでした。

あたりまえだと思っていた文化がアメリカではない文化だと知って驚きました。アメリカではバレンタインデーも風習が異なるようでした。

日本とアメリカの文化の差を、アメリカの学生と実際に話して感じることは非常に面白かったです。

プレゼンテーションが終わった後、ノートルダム高校の子たちと一緒に近くのカフェでドリンクを買い、涼しい風が吹く中、外のベンチで７，８人の子たちと楽しく会話しました。

みんな、日本のことにとても興味を持っていて、まだ一年生の９月から日本語を学び始めて5か月ほどの子でも日本のアニメを私より知っていたりして、驚かされました。

いつか日本に行って、将来英語を教える教師になりたいという子や、もうすでに神奈川、大阪、福岡に行ったことがあるという子もいて、日本について興味を持ってくれていることにとても喜びを感じました。

また、彼らと会話をしていて、異国の文化を理解するためにも、目の前の相手を理解するためにも英会話はとても重要なツールだなと感じました。まだまだ自分は英会話がつたなくてこれからもっと英会話についても勉強していかなくてはならないなと思いました。

明日からはサンディエゴに行きます。

各３班に分かれて、メキシコと日本の企業についてのプレゼンテーションを講師の方に明後日する予定なので、今その内容について班まとまって相談しています。

メキシコについて、詳しいことは知らなかったので知るよいきっかけとなりました。プレゼンテーション作りは大変ですがとてもやりがいがあります。

そして、明日サンディエゴに行くことがとても楽しみです。

We went to the Notre Dame high school, and carried out the presentation to the Japanese 1 and 2 class .It is about commercials of Japan, Japan earthquake, a subculture of Japan, and traditional culture.
It was divided into each group and we have prepared the presentation from last week.
In the presentation of Japanese commercials, students were laughing and looking very pleasantly.
In the Japan earthquake presentation, it was about the outline of Japan earthquake, a volunteer, the Fukushima nuclear power plant, and recovery.
Although we thought that an earthquake disaster might be somewhat difficult for the children of the class , the students were looking at the movies and slide which we prepared very earnestly.

And in the subculture of Japan,we intriduced the music which is popular in Japan.

It seemed that many students knew the idol group who is popular in Japan.

And we gave a presentation about kabuki and tea ceremony.
It has large popularity to serve tea.
And in the end the child of the student of Notre Dame also made the presentation about Japan.
It was about the white day and the New Year's Day in Japan.
It seemed that St Valentine's Day also differed in customs in the United States.
After the presentation, he bought a drink in the nearby cafe together, and we talked with 7 or 8 children on the outside bench.

Moreover, in order to do conversations with them, to understand exotic culture, speaking English is a very important tool.

Tomorrow, we will go to San Diego.

We are divided into three groups and we are making the presentation about the Janpanese company in Mexico. It is very hard, but we will try my best!!

ジャパンプレゼン　本番！

こんにちわ。

早いものでもう３周目です！
岡田です。

今日はとうとうジャパンプレゼンの本番でした。
今までみんなで頑張って作ったプレゼンの成果を出す時です。

ここ何日間かみんな徹夜で作業を行っていたので、疲れが溜まっていましたが、
ノートルダム高校に着き、学生さんの活き活きとした顔を見たら疲れも忘れてしまいました。

肝心のプレゼンの出来ですが、いいものができたと思っています。
震災のこと、日本経済のこと、文化のことなど、自分達の伝えたいことを
しっかり伝えられたと思います。

特に、日本文化での紹介の一部でお茶を実際に学生に飲んでもらうところは好評でした。
みんな楽しそうにしていたので本当に嬉しかったです。

今日は特に印象に残ったことが２つありました。
１つは、ノートルダム高校の生徒が「BSLAの学生との交流の場が学校で１番楽しい」と言っていた
ことでした。そして、去年の夏に行ったホームステイでのBSLAの学生との交流を本当に楽しそうに
振り返っていました。
こんなにも日本の学生との交流を楽しみにしてくれていることを嬉しく思ったとともに、このような
機会を提供してくださったことに本当に感謝したいと思います。

もう１つは、日本の地震についてです。
ある学生は、自分たちで日本のためのパーカーを作り、その売上を募金したと言っていました。
また、「今私たち、アメリカ人が日本のためにできることはなんですか？」と聞いてきた学生さんもいました。

日本のことをまるで自国のことのように心配してくれていました。
その心遣いが本当に嬉しかったです。
その一方で、震災のことを少し他人事のように捉えていた自分が恥ずかしくなりました。

ノートルダムの生徒さんはみなさん本当にいい子でした！
そんな学生のために、明日も頑張っていい発表を行いたいと思います！

Hello!
I'm Okada.
Today was finally the production of Japan presentation.
It is time that we give the results of the presentations made by us.
Because we had been working all through the night for several days , we were tired.
I think announcement of the presentation was better.
We told the students about the great east Japan earthquake, the economic situations ,Japanese traditional culture and J-Pop.

We actually serve tea ceremony in the class. Every student was really good at doing tea ceremony and enjoyed it.

I have two episodes to say.
One thing is that one of the students said that he likes the BSLA class the best. He gave the speech about home stay with BSLA students last summer. I feel happy to hear it and appreciate N high school for giving us fantastic opportunities.

The other is about another earthquake in Japan.
Student said, they made Parkers for Japan on their own, and they raised money for sales to JAPAN.

In addition, students were also asked me "What we can do for Japan.

They worried Japan as if Japan is their country.
I was really happy about their thoughtfulness.

I will do my best tomorrow

Japanese Presentation

どうも！

２巡目lastの島田有香子です。

今日はJapanesePresentationのFinal　Draftでした。

昨日の夜から、ほぼ徹夜で準備しました。

終わらない・・・・・Endlessの戦いでした・・・。

Japanese Presentationでは明日以降に訪問する学校で

日本について紹介するために今作成しています。

今日は昼からエドさんが来てくださり、

わたしたちのプレゼンをチェックしていただきました。

自分たちではいいと思っていても、

第三者から見るとまだまだ改善の余地があったりして

まだまだだなと実感しました。

それぞれみんな何かしらの改善が必要なので

今日も徹夜覚悟でみんな必死でプレゼンを作っています。

こんなに切羽詰まっている中、夜はHollywoodにアカデミー賞を見に行ってきました!!

規制がかかっててめーっちゃ遠くからしか見えなくて、

予想はしていたけど・・・やっぱりショックですね；；

あしたは、ノートルダムに行ってきます。

高校生の若いパワーをもらってきたいものですね！

明日、プレゼンしっかり成功させたいですね＾＾

ということでBSLAﾒﾝﾊﾞｰの夜は長いです。

Today we had final draft of Japanese presentation.

Last night, we stayed up all night to prepare for the presentation.

We'll have the presentation from tomorrow in Notredame and Sandiego.

In the afternon, Mr.Ed came our apertment and checked our presentation.

We have to improve our presentation more......

so, we are making presentation now.

At night we went to Hollywood to see Academy Awards.

but we cannot see clearly.

Tomorrow we'll go to Notrdame high school.

I want to get energy from them!!
