Gold Coast: Beautiful Beach

Gold Coast which is located in southern part from Brisbane has a beautiful beach. We booked a backpacker hotel to stay there a night and get up early in the next day so we can enjoy all day in Gold Coast.

Arriving at Surfers Paradise of Gold Coast in the evening, we got into taking a nighttime walk around Gold Coast and had Kangaroo meat for dinner.

The next day, after we had the loose breakfast, we went surfing in bogy board. Unfortunately it was raining through out the morning, but I didn't care about it and enjoyed surfing in the beach. In the afternoon, the weather was getting better so we went up the top of the Q1 which is the tallest building in the Gold Coast to enjoy the breathtaking view.

Two consecutive days, I have been going beach in Gold Coast. This day, my host family took me to the Currumbin beach which was not big like Surfers Paradise but it had cozy mood. My host family and I had a comfort beach time.

The Night of the Brisbane City

It has passed a week since I came to the Brisbane. I am gradually gettingused to the Australian lifestyle. Australians usually go to bed earlyand get up early. They seldom sit up late. I also get up at 7:00 in themorning, but I go to bed a little late at 12:00. Not having faddy, I amtrying to eat the every Australian food.

Yesterday, my friend invited me to have a steak in the city!! I have noreason to refuse it, so I decided to visit city. It was my second timeto visit the city. Besides, it was night. Look at the picture. The night view of the city is so wonderful. It is completely different from theday time. The shops are decorated with colorful neon. I totally getinto the city and the steak. The steak was so big that I have never hadsuch a huge size. Next time I want to try bony chops which is also aAustralian food.

My first trip was to visit the Brisbane City where has many shops and beautiful landscapes. We took the CityCat which is the ferry of the Brisbane river to go to the Brisbane City. The view of the river bank in the both side are unbliebably beautiful. The CityCat was so fast because it's catamaran boat which is the ship consisting of two hulls. The name of CityCat is derived from the the type of the boat 'catamaran'. It is never derived from the 'cat' which is the pets Australian likes

I went there with my friends and they took me around the City. In the city. Please look at the panorama of the Brisbane river. The river is so wide and has a good view. I went to the Southbank the riverside beach and bought some groceries for making the miso soup for my host family. I played with water and splash about with my friends. It was a lot of fun like I get back to my childhood. I enjoyed the City very much, but I couldn't go through the whole city. So I feel like to visit there next time also because there is no fun around the Uni.

The first day in Australia

I come to Australia to study English for a month and a half, of course including a week trip, using the spring vacation.
The day I came to Australia was yesterday, Feb, 21.
I took the airplane from Narita to Cairns, and change the domestic line to the final destination Brisbane.
It took me SIXTEEN hours to arrive at Brisbane. From Narita to Cairns is 8 hours: it is typical flight time, but form I arrived at Cairns then I took the domestic line, I wasted 6 hours in the Cairns airport to wait the delayed airplane!! So I feel exhausted when I arrived at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, nonetheless I had a start up test at Uni(the Australian always call the University as Uni) with my drowsy eyes.

The next day, the classes started. It last all day from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Don't you think it is hard schedule to do it? If there is no my host family cooperation, I cannot do such a hard work. My host family have two children and two pet, a dog and a cat. The mother is kind to cook me lunch for uni. The boys are very pretty and bright. The pets are cute. Especially the cat liked to sleep on my suitcase. Look at the picture, she is so cute!!

I think the mood for anybody is very important.

Me so. If I'm in a good mood, I can do anything very fast.

I start my blog with all English for practicing my Writing skill, today.
