"Yeah, he made plays down the stretch no question about it. He's had two great playoff runs or his team has had two great playoff runs," Warner said. "But I also look at the rest of his career."

Although Manning has three straight seasons with over 4,000 passing yards, Warner found the negative.

"I mean, he has a 82 quarterback rating throughout his career," said Warner, who works as aN NFL Network analyst. "He's had five of his eight seasons where he has thrown 16 interceptions or more. His completion percentage on his career is 58 percent. To me, those aren't Hall of Fame numbers."

3. Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks (3): Wilson shouldn't be ashamed to be a place holder behind Manning and Brees given the way they have played, but he deserves credit in his own right. At the helm of the conference leading Seahawks, Wilson has a passer rating only behind Manning and Brees among QBs who have started every game, and his per attempt average is higher than that of Brees a testament to his efficiency. All this despite an offense line that is a disaster Wilson has been sacked more than twice as many times as Manning despite being infinitely more elusive.

1. Peyton Manning, QB, Denver Broncos (1): Manning needs 16 touchdowns in his final six games to get to Tom Brady's single season mark of 50. That's about 2.7 per game, which happens to be below what Manning is already averaging this season (3.4 per game to be exact). In other words, an average Manning stretch which, to be fair, would be extraordinary for most anyone else should get him there. And to give you an idea of how other worldly Manning has been this year, he actually can throw for 40 yards fewer per game than his average this season over the final six games and still catch Drew Brees for the Wholesale NFL Jerseys single season yardage mark.

1. Watt, DL, Houston Texans (2): The first big shakeup on the board belongs to the most dominating defensive player in football.
