I decided my fright date

I'm going to go back to Japan on March 2nd

I'm going to leave Vancouver on March 1st

I'm sure it will come soon...

I will miss this life in Vancouver.... however my family and great friends are waiting for me in Japan I'm

looking forward to see them very much

Now, thing that I must do is enjoying my life in Vancouver, of cource

NOT to regret my life.....

1. Use English as much as possible

2. Study hard(sometimes)

3. Go to snowbording

4. Have fun, happy time and awesome memory

5. Try to go on a diet(unfortunately, I have to do it...)

After going back to Japan, things that I'd like to do are....

1. Take a bath or go to "super sento"

2. Have my mom's meal(especially Yakizakana )※Yakizakana is grilled fish

My life in Vancouver is quite busy, actually

Because of snowbording, may be... could be... must be

I'm really taken with snorbording

I go to snowbording twice a week even if I have a work

若いって素晴らしいわあ(Youth is great)

But my birthday is coming... 2 months later...

I'll be 21st years old

By the way, last Monday was Coming of Age Day in Japan.

(Coming of Age Day is a holiday and we celebrate people who are 20years old. ※In Japan, we recognize people that is more than 20 years old adult.)

I wore Kimono and went to Coming of Age Day celemony last year.

It was so fun

But I'm really really jerlous of people who are living in Urayasu city, Chiba.

Because you know!!!

Their meeting place is Tokyo Disney Land

They can enter Disneyland for free and then they can celebrate with Mickey.

What a fabulous thing

How have you spending time on new year's day??

Today, I was sleeping in the morning and then I had a work even if new year day

Anyway,last night was really fun

Yesterday, we went to UBC. (UBC is a huge university )

Because UBC has a Japanese garden which was made by Inazo Nitobe and nearby the garden, they have a

bell which we can ring

At first, I was really exciting about new year event in Vancouver because my image of new year night in Western countries were fancy, showy and great

However, here in Vancouver, they don't have such a big event which I was imagining before I came here, unfortunately...

and also I was eating "Toshikoshi soba"

(Soba is a traditional Japanese noodle and we have a habit to eat soba on new year's eve to wish hapinesses of next year)

Then, I drank Amazake for the first time in my life.

(Amazake is a sweet hot sake and we have a culture which we drink on new years day)

It was nice

Eventually, I had a Japanese-style new year even if I'm in Canada haha

I must be love my country

The thing what I'd like to achieve this year is losing weight(until going back Japan if possible!!!)

Anyway, happy new year and have a great year, everyone

I'm great but Vancouver is toooooo cold...

It started to snow last week.

At that time, I was really exciting about snow because I had rarely seen snow when I was in Japan.

It'sbeautiful, isn't it!?

But now... I'm tired of snowing.

NO MORE SNOW, please

By the way, I went to Whistler last Saturday awith Ayaka, Yusuke and Takahiko!!!

I bought snowboard wear and boots, finally.

Wears are ROXY and Burton

Boots are VANS

Products of Burton in here are much cheaper than Japan.

I'm really really surprising about the price and I'm thinking about getting Burton's board here in Van.

But I'm afraid about paying extra fee when I get on a plane.

I saw Santa Claus at whistler.

I got 1st prize of talking contest

Talking contest is a competition which is that how many canadian can we talked during a session.

I got certificate and $50 starbucks card

Actually I talked and talked everyday

It was hard for me because we have to talk to stranger. They could think that I am strange person...

Sometimes talking to them were dangerous especially night time. so... be careful, girls

Anyway, I could talked to 240 Canadian in this session

My dream came true!

Last month, I was taking a business cource.

Celia is a really really nice teacher and also, many students in the class have a great background, speciall skills and nice and specific dreams

It was nice to see them for me and I learned a lot from them.

I'm pretty sure that they will do well near future

Business cource is quite different from ESL cource and it was so hard for me, actually.

However, classmates are kind and friendly and Celia is a excellent teacher beccause her teaching

style is something special and creative!

That's why even if me, it was easy to understand.

I'm really appreciate them

Christmas is coming. Are you exciting??

I'm so exciting even if I don't have a boyfriend. haha

In Japan, we usually have a time with our partner on Christmas day.

Christmas day is for couples

However, here in Canada, they usually have a time with their family and turckey dinner

Culture is different

Anyway, I made a ginger bread in my friend's house!!

Ginger bread is a traditional christmas ornament which made from sweets.

1st, we use a icine as a glue

2nd, we start to decorate!!!

I learned a lot here in Vancouver. Knowing culture is interesting!!!

I like HERSHY's chocolate

HERSHY'S chocolate in US is cheaper than Canada and HERSHY'S cholate in Canada is cheaper than Japan.

US < CANADA < JAPAN

Anyway, I ate it easily, even if such a big size...... why not!?!? haha

But now, I'm regretting about that.

By the way, I was taking business cource last month and we had a project called the Food Trade show.

It is that we make a real and new product and sell other students.

My partner is Fabio from Brazil

We made a new product called Dangodeiro

It is a sweet that is mixed Japaanese traditional rice cake(Dango) and Brazilian traditional chocolate

(Bregadiero).

Many students came to our Food Trade show and we sold our products

hey, We got it!!!

Anyway, I had a really really great experience

with my favorite classmates.
