１、中流で馬を変えるな。つまり、途中で反対側に乗り換える、途中で意見、方針などをを変えるのはよくない。

２、豹柄は豹柄のまま。もって産まれた性格は変えられないということです。日本の諺だと、「三つ子の魂百まで」。

３、変化は空中にある。もうすぐ自体は変わる、みたいな意味です。

４、手中に収めた一羽の鳥は、藪の中の二羽よりも価値がある。「明日の百より、今日の五十」。

５、隣の芝は青い。他人のものはよく見える。

６、古い習慣はなかなか無くならない。

７、変化の為の変化。つまり、ただ変化さえすればよい。

８、卵を割らずにオムレツは作れない。つまり、苦労なくして利益はないということ。No pain, no gain.と同じ意味です。

９、古きを捨て、新しきを得る。温故知新の反対です。

１０、老いた犬に新しい芸は教えられない。つまり老い木は曲がらぬ。矯める木は若木のうち。

１１、prerogativeは権利、特権という意味。女性の意識は女性の特権で変わる。つまり、女心と秋の空。
