<![CDATA[ <p>またもやお久しぶりです</p><br><p>ちょっとお休みを頂いておりました</p><br><p>では、今週は分詞構文をやっていきましょう</p><br><p>1<strong><font size="2">. 分詞構文の基本</font></strong></p><p>まずは、S＋V～, S＋V～の文は</p><p>下の例文のように<font color="#ff0000">接続詞が必要</font></p><p>when I was sick, I went to a hospital.</p><p>分詞構文の場合…</p><p><font color="#ff0000">①接続詞（今回はwhen）省略</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">②コンマの前後のSが一緒の場合接続詞側のS省略</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">③動詞を～ingに</font></p><p><font color="#ff1493">⇒Being sick, I went to a hospital.</font></p><p><font color="#66ff00">※もしSが一緒でない場合は省略しない（後述）</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">④notは～ingの直前</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">⑤be動詞の後ろにVが続く場合beingは省略可</font></p><p>ex.) when it is seen from here, it looks like a dog.</p><p>⇒Seen from here, it looks like a dog.</p><br><p><strong><font size="2">2. 独立分詞構文</font></strong></p><p><font color="#66ff00">コンマの前後でSが同一でない場合Sは省略できない</font></p><p><font color="#66ff00">⇒独立分詞構文</font></p><p>ex.) <![CDATA[ <p>Repeat after me, "I will memorize my English lines!"</p><br><br><p>Think of what actors and actresses have to do </p><p>to prepare for a movie.</p><p>They have to constantly memorize their lines in advance. </p><p>When the audience finally sees the movie, </p><p>it sounds so natural and spontaneous, </p><p>but we all know it isn't. </p><p>All the acting and dialogue was prepared </p><p>and rehearsed beforehand, right?<br> </p><p><br>Think of doing this yourself. </p><p>You are an actor memorizing your lines to an English movie. </p><p>Most conversations are very predictable. </p><p>You can usually predict </p><p>what questions will be asked and </p><p>therefore, you can prepare your answers in advance. </p><p>You can edit as you go, </p><p>as you learn more vocabulary and become more fluent. <br></p><p> <br>First you need to LISTEN to a lot of English. </p><p>Listen to various dialogues. </p><p>Listen to how other people answer these questions. </p><p>Keep these questions </p><p>and your prepared answers in a journal or notebook. </p><p>Keep rehearsing "your lines," just like an actor does.<br> <br>Here's an example: <br>So, what was the best thing about living in LA?<br> <br>Possible Answers: <br> <br>The best thing, by far, was the food! </p><p>I knew LA was an international city but for some reason, </p><p>I just thought </p><p>American food was the same everywhere you went. </p><p>I didn't expect there to be so many great restaurants </p><p>- in Little Tokyo, Koreatown, Little Armenia - </p><p>I had a favorite restaurant in every part of the city. </p><p>It was fantastic.<br> <br>The weather! </p><p>In December, I was still wearing a tee-shirt, </p><p>shorts and flip-flops! </p><p>I definitely wouldn't mind living in a city like that...<br> <br> <br>Every skill is interrelated. </p><p>The more you LISTEN, the more you SPEAK. </p><p>The more you READ and WRITE, </p><p>the better you LISTEN and SPEAK. </p><p>Study English with a passion! Listen more!"</p><p> <br>It is said that a wise person will listen 60% and speak 40%.  </p><p>Whatever the correct ratio is and regardless of the language, </p><p>listening is a very important skill. </p><p>Improving your English comprehension is just as important </p><p>as improving your speaking skills. </p><p>One cannot happen without the other and vice versa. <br> <br>Some important points to consider:<br> <br>1. Listen to conversations and/or monologues.<br>2. Listen for at least 10 - 30 minutes a day.<br>3. The level should be slightly higher than your actual level.<br>4. Listen to different voices, stories and speeds.<br>5. <![CDATA[ <p>どーも、先週はすみません</p><p>作者急病のため…ってのは嘘で普通に忘れていました(笑)</p><br><p>今回は動名詞です</p><br><p><strong><font size="2">1. 前置詞のうしろ</font></strong></p><p>前置詞のうしろには<font color="#ff0000">名詞</font>が続く</p><p>前置詞のうしろに<font color="#ff0000">動詞を置きたい場合は～ing</font>に！</p><br><p><strong><font size="2">2. 動名詞の意味上の主語</font></strong></p><p>問1.　次の誤りを訂正せよ</p><p>Him talking was rude.</p><br><p>She hates talking with her friends.</p><p>(彼女は彼女の友達と話すのが嫌)</p><p>She hates my/me talking with her friends.</p><p>(彼女は私が彼女の友達と話すのが嫌)</p><p><font color="#ff3300">～ingする人や物を示す時は所有格<font color="#33cc33">(ex:my, hisなど)</font>または</font></p><p><font color="#ff3300">目的格</font><font color="#33cc33">(ex:me, himなど)</font></p><br><p><font color="#ff1493">ただし文頭は必ず所有格</font></p><br><p>なので問1.はHimではなく<font color="#ff1493">His</font>が正解</p><br><p><strong><font size="2">3. うしろに～ingが続く動詞</font></strong></p><p><font color="#ff0000">stop finish enjoy quit consider give up miss</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">avoid recall</font> など</p><p><font color="#ff3300">※マイナスイメージの単語は特に～ingが続くことが多い</font></p><br><p><strong><font size="2">4. toと～ingで意味が異なる動詞</font></strong></p><p>問2.　次の誤りを訂正せよ</p><p>家賃を払うことを忘れた</p><p>I forgot paying the rent.</p><br><p><font color="#ff0000">remember to　　～することを覚えている（まだやってないこと）</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">　　　　　　　～ing　～したことを覚えている（もうしたこと）</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">forget to　　to 　～することを忘れる（まだやっていないこと）</font></p><p><font color="#ff0000">　　　　　　　～ing　～したことを忘れる（もうやったこと）</font></p><br><p>等</p><br><p>今回の問では家賃はまだ払っていないですよね？</p><p>ですので、まだやっていないことをあらわすtoを使います</p><p>正解は</p><p>I forgot <font color="#ff1493">to pay</font> the rent.でした。</p><br><p><strong><font size="2">5. 完了動名詞</font></strong></p><p>She is proud of being popular.with men.</p><p>（彼女は男からモテることを自慢に思っている）</p><p>She is proud of <font color="#00bfff">having been</font> popular with men.</p><p>（彼女は男から<font color="#00bfff">モテた</font>ことを自慢に思っている）</p><p><font color="#00bfff">動名詞の部分がhaving+pp⇒昔</font></p><br><br><p>今日はここまで。次週は分詞構文の予定です</p><br><p>（私事）</p><p>スカイダイビングをやってきました</p><p>耳が痛くなったけど、最高に気持ちが良かったです</p>

<title>Yasuの英語勉強日記＃7</title>

<![CDATA[ はい、皆さんの耳はどのくらい英語を聞き取れますか？？？？？<br><br>英語を聞き取るのもかなり努力が必要ですよね。<br><br>と言っても相手がいなくても出来る点ではやりやすいですよね。<br><br>映画を見るなり、音楽を聞くなり、ラジオを聞くなり、ひたすら英語に触れていればある日突然気づくはずです。’’あれ？　聞き取れる’’<br><br>映画を見る時は最初は字幕付きなどで見ていてもいいですが、少しなれてきたら字幕をはずして見る方がいいでね、字幕があるとどうしても目に８割、耳に２割くらいしか集中ささらない気がします。<br><br>音楽は前に書いた通りlyricのサイトとyoutubeの活用が効率がいいですね。<br><br>ラジオは、、、、映画と音楽でどれだけなれたかを試すために使ってはどうでしょうか。<br><br>おすすめはyoutubeのインタビューですね。<br><br>僕は個人的にMETALLICAのファンなので彼らのインタビューなどをけっこう見てます、あとは最近EMINEMのインタビューも見るようにしてますね。<br><br>毎日どれだけ英語に浸かれるかが耳をならす上では大事だと思います、寝るときもインタビューを聞きながら寝る、MP3などに音楽か映画など入れておいて移動中に聞くなど。<br><br>毎日コツコツと慣らしていきましょう：）<br><br>今週はここまで、bye!!<br><br><br><br><br><br><br>

<![CDATA[ <p>わからない時はちゃんと聞こう</p><p>聞くは一時の恥、聞かぬは末代の恥</p><br><p>Repeat after me, </p><p>"I will always ask for help </p><p>if I don't understand someone or something!"<br> <br>This is a very practical tip </p><p>that should benefit everyone regardless of their English ability. <br></p><p>Imagine you are meeting someone for the first time. </p><p>Imagine the person </p><p>you are having a conversation with speaks too softly or too fast. </p><p>Imagine you are being trained for a new job </p><p>and don't understand the training. </p><p>There are many situations which require you to ask for help.  <br></p><p> <br>For example:<br> <br>1. I don't understand. (the information or the speaker)<br>2. I don't know. (the answer to a question)<br>3. What does that mean? </p><p>　　(asking for the definition of a word or expression)<br>4. Could you say that again please? (asking for clarification)  <br>5. Could you speak slower please? (adjusting speed)<br>6. How do you spell that? (asking about spelling)<br>7. How do you pronounce that?
