Fucking mosquitoes. I seriously fucking loathe mosquitoes, especially the tiger mosquitoes. I can stand the heat and humidity. The mosquitoes on the other hand, holy fuck, I can't wait for them to mass-produce the new mosquito patch.

Exercise (or rather, lack of)

People often say they want to be more fit or exercise more. It's usually prevalent right after New Years. The most common excuse people give for not getting fit is they don't have the time. I call BULLSHIT. It's not that people don't have time, it's that they don't MAKE time.

Do you ever go home after work and watch TV? If yes, then that's time you could spend exercising instead of watching TV.

Do you eat breakfast or dinner? If yes, then eat less or eat faster to make time to exercise before a meal.

Do you ever go out on the weekend or holidays? If yes, then that's time you could be exercising.

Do you sleep? If yes, then sleep less and exercise.

If you really want to get fit then you can always make time to exercise. Of course, a healthy diet also helps. Avoid eating carbohydrates for dinner, especially rice. Rice is terrible with all of its glucose.

I'm going to post my exercise schedule. If I can make time to do all this then you can easily make time to do 1/3 of what I accomplish weekly.

Mondays - plyometrics
Tuesdays - the gym
Wednesdays - kenpo
Thursdays - yoga
Fridays - the gym
Saturdays - plyometrics
Sundays - the gym

Once you manage to keep it up for a while it becomes a part of your daily routine. You'll be fit and feel better than you've ever felt in your life. There's no excuse not to get fit. Stop all your bullshitting and BRING IT!

I think the list really shows a person's intellect. If you included people in the entertainment industry, I think that proves my point.

It's Lonely at the Top

It's common for people to compliment another person for being intelligent. What they fail to realize is that it can be lonely and frustrating to be so intelligent. Believe me, I experience it all the time. You aren't able to fully express yourself due to the lack of knowledge of others'. You could end up making others feel belittled with the vast gap in knowledge. Unfortunately as a consequence of not being able to talk freely makes you feel a little alienated.

It's hard to find people to talk to about matters that are actually important. People often just gossip, talk about sports, fashion and entertainment. All of that is utterly pointless and provides no benefit in the improvement of one's pursuit of useful knowledge.

Here's a list of some of the things that are important and do not receive enough attention in conversation: climatology, cosmology, ethics, morality, libertarianism, gender equality, religion, abortion, euthanasia, and alternative energy.

Most of us have the capacity to learn and educate ourselves in fields that are pertinent. Why waste that wonderful thing in your skull with useless junk? Make use of it to see for yourself what you've been missing for all this time.

Anti-nuclear energy demonstrators

So the demonstrations have started again after the recent election. I know I've talked about the energy crisis in an older post, but this is made me feel a need to reiterate some points.

Now, all you demonstrators are free to protest all you want, but really, what do you propose as a solution in the short-term? Sure, I think we should all be using renewable energy, but that's a long-term goal and not something we can all just switch to in the short-term.

Fossil fuel plants in Japan are already running at full-capacity as we speak. We NEED to use nuclear power for the time being. Until we invest more resources into renewable energy, we won't be able to depend on it. Increasing greenhouse gases is NOT the solution.

Global warming is already out of control and you're just accelerating the problem by depending more on fossil fuels. Stop thinking so backwards.

I understand nuclear energy isn't 100% safe, but it's better than any realistic alternative we have available right now. I'd be ecstatic if we could all one day use nothing but wind, hydro, solar, and geothermal energy. But anyone can tell you it's not something we can all just switch to right now without the proper infrastructure.

Making a complete switch to renewable energy will take time and unfortunately the only good solution we have until we can make the switch is to rely on nuclear energy. A gradual move away from nuclear energy is the only way to go. Going cold turkey is a terrible idea and it's because of stupid demonstrators like you that end up screwing the rest of the world by failing to see the big picture.

Why English is awesome

The fact that English most likely has more words than any other language in the world isn't even a factor in my reasoning.

You just can't make the same kind of expressions in another language like you can in English. Most other major languages are just so tame.

For instance, in English we can easily say, "Yo, I gotta take a shit." whereas in other languages it just sounds boring or even juvenile. If we start looking at the ways we describe genitalia, it's clear we're able to make more interesting sentences in English.

Here's a small list of words that mean or can mean "penis":
wood, stick, cock, dick, pole, member, package, boner, pecker, hard on, shaft, tool, wang, sausage, salami, baby maker, staff, rod, baby arm, One-Eyed Willy, and Johnson,

And here is a list for words that mean "vagina":
twat, cunt, pussy, cooch, putang, vag, snatch, box, slit, beaver, honey pot, vertical smile, and muff.

How interesting is a sentence like, "I stuck my baby maker into her honey pot and banged her until the cows came home."

English is also great at expressing how one really feels. "He's a dumb shit motherfucking douchebag." or "Holy shit, what a fucking asshole!"

Also, one can't forget to mention the classic, "You stupid dumb shit goddamn motherfucker!"

Hey boys and girls,

I'd just like to take a second to thank you all for reading my "blog". It was never intended for a wide audience, but I guess some people just happen to stumble upon this site and like what they read.

Anyway, regardless of how many people or who views this, I'll continue to write good shit as I've always done. At least my posts are better than most of the crap that's posted on blog sites. At least the stuff I write about is more important than the drivel most other people spew out. Seriously, who the fuck cares you got your period last week.

Cheers to me for keeping you folks informed on what's real and what's bullshit. Too many young people these days don't know jack shit about the world. This is one place for you to enlighten yourself just a tad.
(That's of course my modesty speaking. Honestly I'm just a way superior intellectual the all of you).

Also, cheers to the alcohol coursing through my veins currently. Even though I'm inebriated, I can still debate better than the rest of you. That's simply how much better I am as a person than the rest of you. I know Albert Einstein wouldn't really approve of it, but I will allow you to worship me cause I'm simply so fucking awesome.

I feel fantastic and I'm not even drunk! Who would have thunk! A few changes to your daily life can make a world of difference. I won't deny that being awesome helps as well. December is just around the corner and it feels like I'll be able to finish off the year in high spirits. Fucking awesome. Life is good and I'm freakin' awesome. Maybe I should write a book about how to be awesome and feel awesome like I do. There are lots of Debbie Downers out there that could use my help.

On a completely different note, I wonder if I can just buy plain egg whites in bulk.

Are ghosts real?

Obviously not. But you have to wonder why there are so many people who believe in ghosts. So we've all heard at one point or another about someone who has seen or can see ghosts.

There are many possible explanations. Here's a list of some probable reasons:
1. The person is a swindler and is making fake claims for the purpose of some gain (like money or fame).
2. The person sees something and mistakes it for a ghost (we have evolved to try and see faces in things, pattern recognition for instance)
3. The person was dreaming.
4. The person experiences something but cannot explain what they saw, so they think it's a ghost (based on stories they've heard as well).
5. The person was hallucinating due to some cause (for example, electromagnetic waves can cause people to hallucinate. faulty wiring can cause it to leak into a room)

I'd like to expand on the second point for a bit. We often see patterns in things where there are none. For example, I'm sure you've looked at clouds and the sky and said it looked like some animal. Skills like that have helped our survival as a species, but they do often make mistakes. We also tend to see human features in thing as well. We all remember the 'face on Mars' right? In a situation where emotions are tense, it doesn't surprise me that people mistake something inanimate for an apparition.

We've evolved to react very quickly to things in our environment. Fear is such a crucial part of our survival so it's no wonder it's one of the primal emotions. We naturally feel fear in the dark. It allows us to be cautious and ready to run if something dangerous jumps out at us. The hominids that didn't have this simply died out. Natural selection at work!

The human brain is amazing, but it is far from perfect. In order to speed up information processing it has to make many shortcuts. And these shortcuts unfortunately can lead to misinterpretations. These "ghosts" that people claim to see are nothing more than their imagination.
