i'm not feeling well.

i'm lying on my bed atm, i'm not feeling well.

i just measured my temperature, and i have a fever.

my dad wants me to help him buy things so i have to go out in 2 hours. but i really have no energy and i feel terrible. i have no energy to even sit at my laptop so i was using my phone and couldn't find anything to do so i thought i'd make a blog post. i really hope my fever goes away by Monday because i have tests on Monday and Tuesday that i must pass or my family would get really angry and punish me.

i also have a really bad cough and sore throat. i think i have some kind of infection. i don't mind antibiotics but i'm really afraid of them because of resistant bacteria and because i'm allergic to two antibiotics, my allergic reaction was slow breathing and throat tightness, i couldn't breathe.

2 Days of School

i was told that we're gonna be sent to a school for 2 days, but when i got there, it wasn't a school, it was just an office with classrooms. in there, we were given lessons on professionalism, customer service, workplace, hygiene, how to work effectively etc. and here are some things Eiko was taught. there were also tests at the end. .-.

- keeping the workplace tidy.
- hygiene if handling food.
- answering calls.
- the professional way to put people on hold.
- greeting people, customers and clients.
- making them feel welcome.
- detailed procedure for visitors in the office.
- helping people with special needs. (wheelchair)
- empathy.
- responsiveness at work.

- provide better service than a good customer service.
- body language.
- first impressions.

- punctuality.
- importance of listening to instructions properly.
- dealing with troublesome clients or customers.
- how to work when you're sick. (see story below)
- working together with colleagues.

there was also this story that our trainer shared. she got into a car accident, and she was injured, so she went to a clinic to get a letter for insurance. because of her work schedules and the insurance's restrictions, she has to make the claim within 24 hours, so she went to the clinic at midnight. it was a 24 hours clinic so she had to take awhile to travel there because those clinics aren't that common. when she arrived, an impolite staff said impolitely, "why? you here to see doctor?" and our trainer replied yes, then the staff gave her a form and told her to fill it up, again in an impolite way. when she was done, the staff said "you done?". our trainer then asked the staff if she's unhappy to work here, and she apologized replied that she's not feeling well, but our trainer said she shouldn't be here, and she replied that there's no one to replace her. a couple then came out of the doctor's office, with a face so pale it's like they saw a ghost, according to our trainer. she felt like something is wrong, but she said she couldn't just not see the doctor at that point, so she went in. she saw the doctor chewing on an orange with juice dripping onto his clothes, while having old juice stains. he then placed the orange on his desk, next to a brown, half eaten apple. when she was done, she came out and her friend asked why her face was as pale as the couple who came out earlier. she explained to us that the staff at the front desk may be behaving that way to chase away customers, and that she might also have been bullied. my trainer said that she reported about the doctor to the government.

Eiko has completed her training! yayy.

not really, there are 2 days left, Monday and Tuesday. this week's training was okays, quite tiring though, and my journey home takes about 2 hours. i was also sent to a school for 2 days, and i had a review on Wednesday. i was given a new dress code, that i have to wear the company's uniform while i'm in public and also so i can enter the training facility and their other offices, but while working or being trained, i am to wear a normal office attire (collared shirt, suit and skirt, i'll post photos on Instagram soon XD). that means i have to wash, clean, iron, and wear two sets of clothing everyday. on the bright side, they were able to finish their training early and we were given a 2 and a half weeks of leave, which means we don't have to work. yay? not for me, my cousin wants me to earn more money for them instead of just sitting around doing nothing. the previous company i worked for, distributing flyers, has called me and my cousin saying that they really need me to return because they're shorthanded at somewhere that nobody chose to work because there are a lot of flyers to distribute there, and my cousin told them i'll be going back to work on Wednesday. he didn't tell me how long i'd have to work, hopefully not for my entire 2 and a half weeks of rest. i'll die.

i also had a review on Wednesday, i was super nervous but it was way better than the interview. i had to spend 2 hours traveling there, 2 hours traveling to the school, and then 2 hours back home though. the reviewer was really nice and polite. they questioned me these, then told me i passed my review and that they're really happy to have me.

- my education level
- my education scores
- what schools i went to
- my job experiences
- why i've stopped working at those jobs
- if i had any pets
- how i took care of my pets
- how is the agency so far
- am i stressful
- what i do when i'm stressful
- the police cadet training i had in school
- my skills
- my hobbies

oh btw Caelyn (my phone autocorrected your name to Carolyn) XD on Monday when i was returning home, i saw a crow standing on the floor somewhere and not moving a bit. it's my first time seeing a crow so motionless. i hope it's okay.

i'm also having a really, really bad sore throat. ;-;

Eiko is freeeeee!

i'm allowed to stay at my home now!

:D

HOMEEEE. <3

i'm gonna cry.

my aunt said it's because of my excellent performance at my previous job and in her house, not making any mistakes while doing chores, 100% punctuality for my job and for returning home, and because i'm a good girl, but my cousin interrupted and said that if they get a single complain from my dad, my new bosses, or if my punctuality decreases, i'll be sent back to their house again. he said that my stay at her house was for my own good since they took all my pay and i wasn't able to pay the electricity bills, and for my nomnom, but now i'll be able to.

everything is still packed in boxes so i won't be able to use my things, and i'm a little not used to being back home, but i get to shower in warm water, sleep on my own bed, use the wifi i've been paying for while being imprisoned at my aunt's house, spend time with my friends, clean my eyes safely and be freeeee.

there's a downside though, my new job's training facility is 2 hours away. the earliest bus that is available is 6 am, and i have to take 2 buses and 3 train lines to get there. i'm super worried that i'll not be able to keep my 100% punctuality. also, my working hours are from 7 am, the first bus is available at 6 am .-. and i have to wake up before 5 am. i can't take a cab because it's too far away and i have motion sickness. for returning home, if my work ends at 7 pm i'll most likely be home at 9 pm. i hope the training timings are different from work timings.

New Job - Support Staff

Eiko had an interview recently, and they seem to really want to hire me, but i was so nervous, i kept touching my hair and felt like peeing.

i had a two to one interview before i went into the room again and had another interview with the same two interviewers and a senior manager. i was already super nervous before the interview and i got more nervous when i saw him omg. then, i was given a few hours briefing immediately and stuff, i'll explain more in the fourth paragraph. i'll also have to pass a training course in a week, and i might have a review on February 22nd (Eiko has no idea what that is).

my cousin said that since this job pays well, i won't have to work two jobs if i work well for this job, and he also said that i've signed a 2 years contract so i can't quit anyway (please stab me). he said that if i don't work well he will still make me work 2 jobs despite the long hours of this job, and that he doesn't care if i have 2 hours of sleep a day. he was also the one who did the application form and he indicated that my pay goes into his bank account, but he said that i'll get a few hundred dollars from my pay. i'll also get paid when i'm a trainee, yay. he told me he gave a one week notice to my current job before i have to leave it, and i have to begin working for my new job and going for a training course immediately after, with new colleagues again. i really, really want to rest omg. ;-;

i was interviewed at an agency who told me i'd be working as a support staff, which means i'll be sitting in an office, and i have to go for a 3 week training course from 7 am to 7 pm and spend 2 days at some school. i was interviewed at their main office, and it took me awhile to find because nobody there knows where it is. i had to go through a scary security guy and then to a strange elevator lobby that has the floor numbers outside of the elevators .-. and in the elevator, there was only an open and close button. fortunately i'm not claustrophobic. i was issued a uniform omg, and was taught the agency's way of wearing it, and i have to keep it properly ironed and not discolored. i'm also only allowed three forms of hairstyles, i chose the ponytail but they said that my hair still has to be shorter, and neatly groomed, like how my aunt always wants my hair to be while i'm in her house. then, they started the group briefing from how the agency works to types of documents, how to organize documents, the complex document template that you have to use, handling of mail, logistics, administration, the agency's software, confidentiality, how difficult your job is and the huge responsibility that we have. they also said that you're dead if anything happens to their information. the police will also be notified and you may be sued, but before that there are many process you have to go through. i was so nervous when i heard that. i have so, so much to remember. i had to remember way more than what i typed here, i just don't want the post to get too long so you won't have to read so much XD anyways, basically, any 1 thing the agency does, the support staff (me) has 100 things to do (hinthint; i might still be super busy and exhausted daily). also i think i'm the youngest staff in the agency. :3

my flyers job went well at the end, although there were a lot of things to do during the last week. about that colleague who screamed at me and hit me on my head, the misunderstandings went away and we helped each other a lot, yay! i also saved a few contacts from colleagues and managers :D yay! i hope we'll be in contact. i thanked everyone before leaving on my last day. i hate changing colleagues so often but i'm kinda used to it. (:

i'm so sorry for a super long post, i'll stop typing and make a new post. it looked really short when i typed it on my phone. -cries-

Eiko is finally allowed to charge her phone! :DD

-happy noises-

Eiko has colourful news!

this week was a good week because i had very little amount of flyers to distribute and the delivery truck was available the entire week so i had a lot of time to rest at work (besides Friday, which is today because of an event i explained here) and besides that, i'm finally allowed to charge my phone at my aunt's house, yay! i'm still only allowed to use my phone before bedtime, and i'm still not allowed to bring it to work. they've also changed the wifi password so i won't be able to use my phone much and i only get to use or charge it if my chores are done and nobody is using the socket. there was once i couldn't sleep because i was having a really bad back pain and the room was too cold even with my hoodie and blanket on (i did politely ask if i could turn off the air conditioner or the fan but my cousin just told me to use my blanket that has about 30 holes), so i was chatting with one of my best friends, Gabrielle after bedtime because i couldn't sleep and my cousin came into the room. he scared me and my heart was beating so quickly omg, but fortunately i wasn't caught.

few days ago my cousin was whistling while i was trying to sleep after the bedtime they gave me. i was in his room with the door closed and i could still hear his whistles, and he was whistling while showering and happily enjoying the warm water, while i'm not allowed to use warm water while showering. also, my cousin has a friend who sleeps in the same room with him very often, and i'm not sure why. his friend was gone for a few weeks but now his friend is back and i'm sharing a room with my cousin and his friend. i think he's gonna stay with my cousin for a really long time. i feel really uncomfortable sleeping next to his friend, but don't worry, we're on separate beds. i feel like i don't have privacy although i'm kinda used to it at home because i live in a rented apartment without rooms. every night i worry that my cousin might look through my phone and find this blog or find out that i've made new friends without asking for permission. the toilet's door lock is broken so i can't lock my doors while using the toilet. the toilet in my aunt's room has a working lock but i'm not allowed to use that, i'm only allowed to clean it. i can't lie down on the bed in any way i want to unlike at home, i feel like i'm being watched when i sleep, and i hate it especially when i have to go to the toilet to change my clothes because i'm not allowed to do it in the room even when i'm running out of time while they change their clothes in the room with me in the room.

recently, the toilet's light stopped working and i have to clean my eyes in dim light. they've also ran out of hand soap and they just filled a shampoo bottle with unknown red liquid soap. i hope it's sufficient to clean my hands or my eyes would get infected since they're at a higher risk of infection because of my eye condition. but fortunately i've been given more time to shower, brush my teeth and wash my clothes now. yay.

Thankful Colleagues and Upcoming Interview

my new colleagues can be quite aggressive but i've been very kind and helpful towards then so most of them are thankful for working with me. yay! (:

except one who screamed "what the fuck are you doing" at me when i paused my work for 3 seconds and he thought that i wasn't doing anything to help, and everyone stared at me. i apologized but he still had the surprised face and since then, he has viewed me as someone who isn't contributing. i hate misunderstandings so much. on Friday, he also hit me on my head and telling everyone who saw it that he thought a stack of flyers were falling. he also sat on a few stacks of flyers that the manager told me to arrange neatly. he also keeps staring at me even when i'm not looking at him. i understand why he hates me, but i don't want this to continue, i hope the misunderstanding ends soon. he is also super angry at a trainee manager, and wants to bring his gang to beat him up. yes, he's a gangster, and i'm used to being around gangsters since my secondary school had lots of them, but things are different now.

remember the colleague who coughed at me and made me cough too? that cough recovered. now, there's a different colleague who coughed at me, but fortunately this cough went away in 2 days. there's also a super muscular colleague who was assigned to distribute flyers with me, and i'm kinda afraid of him. it's not that i don't like muscular people, but if they're too muscular i'd feel afraid. especially when he is in a bad mood and he is often in a bad mood .-. but he is caring at times, today he asked if i'm okay when i'm putting on a band aid because i fell and scratched my elbow on the asphalt road when i was preparing flyers.

speaking of today, there was an event. an extremely tiring one and i'm not only tired now but also starving because the managers made us have early dinner at 4 pm because of the event. the event was where we distributed flyers in a huge enclosed place (i have no idea how to explain this), and we had to chat with the "potential customers" as the manager calls it, to explain and advertise more about the flyers to every person who enters a booth you're assigned to. i also had to change booths at times and i accidently went to a wrong booth because i was so tired, and i apologized to a manager. fortunately, the manager just laughed and he didn't scold me. i hope he didn't do that just because there were customers around. we'll see, on monday. tomorrow, my other aunt wants me to go to her house to change her wifi password, somehow make her new phone's data identical to her old phone's data, and then follow her to the supermarket. i have to go to several shops before going to her house because my manager gave me a list of things to buy for my job. i have a feeling that tomorrow will be as tiring as today, and the day after tomorrow i'd have to return to my aunt's house to be imprisoned again. i really need rest omg.

i also can't stop thinking about my upcoming interview. i hope it's a better job because distributing flyers is really tiring for me and i really can't continue, so i hope i can pass the interview if it's a better job. it's also at 8 am so i'd still have to distribute flyers in the afternoon. i have never been to that part of Singapore, it's also far so i think it might take me an hour or more to get to the interview. i hope my manager doesn't give me an impossible timing to return to distributing flyers, and i also have to inform my aunt about my timings at work because they want to make sure i'm punctual. i'm really really nervous and i feel so stressed. i keep thinking about what i might be interviewed about, and my aunt still refuses to tell me what my interview is about. whenever i'm nervous, i'd also feel like peeing omg. save me.

Home

besides privacy reasons mentioned in the previous post, there are lots of other reasons my home is better than me being imprisoned in my aunt's home although my house is the cheapest, oldest and smallest apartment in Singapore. before being imprisoned in my aunt's house, i've always wondered why i was really, really happy to live with my dad in my own home when we have a terrible apartment. at that time, i nearly cried. i forgot why, and being imprisoned reminded me again. but at least grooming and taking care of my aunt's 3 dogs isn't part of my long, long list of chores.

- privacy reasons mentioned in this post..

- i can enjoy the silence and privacy although my dad returns home and turns on his television till 2 am while i try my best to sleep. there are 5 people living in my aunt's house and way more people at work daily. i feel less stressed when i return home to less people.

- i don't have to bring my shampoo and body foam to the room and back to the toilet whenever i shower, and i have to do that for my aunt's house because they don't allow me to share shampoo and stuff.

- i have a lot more time to shower and properly clean myself.

- i don't have to ration my shampoo.

- although i have to boil water everytime i shower in my own home, at least i don't have to shower in freezing cold water like in my aunt's house.

- i won't shiver everytime i shower.

- i don't have to bring my own toilet paper into the toilet, and i have to do that for my aunt's house because they want me to buy my own toilet paper. i've not ran out of toilet paper before but hopefully i'll have time to buy it if i do. .-.

- i have more clothes hangers to dry my clothes, so i can also wash all my clothes at a time without waiting for clothes to dry first because of limited clothes hangers (i brought 10 to my aunt's house).

- i can sleep without shivering under a blanket with holes.

- i don't have to worry about being horrifyingly killed by a bunk bed.

- i get to sleep on my own bed and i get to hug a bolster like i've been doing since i was a baby.

- i can clean my eyes whenever i want to and not only before my cousin wakes up or goes to bed.

- i'm able to clean my eyes and store my eye medicine somewhere safe and clean.

- i have enough tissue to wipe my eyes.

- i can charge my phone whenever i want to.

- i have access to my wifi. <3

- i can watch YouTube because i have wifi.

- i have less strict chores inspections.

- i have lesser and easier chores.

- i can shower at anytime of the day.

- i can buy food from outside without being limited to eating 1 type of food daily.

- i can nomnom Japanese food.

- i can store my nomnoms in the fridge.

- i can nomnom whenever i'm hungry.

- i don't have to keep my hair tied neatly.

- i can pee without asking for permission.

- i can lie down whenever i want to.

- i can sleep whenever i want to.

- more reasons i can't recall atm.
