It's difficult not being able to touch her, but staying connected with her through communication has held my strength. During my stay in Japan, I felt as if we were married. She treated me like a husband and supported me. Staying at her house gave me the urgency to live in Japan. I love the culture. The food is great and the atmosphere is completely different than the United States.

I hope my knowledge of Japanese will greatly improve and become useful in the future. I'm very proud of myself for learning the Hiragana writing system. I will continue on with the other writing systems. She's my motivation to keep on fighting! I hope I've made her life a happy place. She's my love and I really want to be with her; whether it's to live in Japan or the United States.
