facebook に必要な人材かテストしているシーン
このシーンは特に監督の David Fincher らしい
映像で個人的にお気に入りのシーンです。

    something
    Ex. So much for the melodic line. We now turn

2. suggesting that something has not been
    successful or useful

何かがうまくいっていない時や何かが
成功しなかった時には、「so much for」
から始まるフレーズを使うネイティブが
多くいます。

be meant to be sth ~
to be generally considered to be sth
Ex. This restaurant is meant to be excellent.
       このレストランはすばらしいと言われてる。

be supposed to be ~
to be generally believed or expected to be 
Ex. I haven't seen it myself, but it's supposed 
       to be a great movie.

We were meant to be, supposed to be ...
の箇所には'' 私たちうまくゆくはずだったのに...''
という意味合いが込められています。
