I have to say right off the bat, I really enjoyed this movie. It was not in your face like Pulp Fiction; it was not streamlined to a story like ReservoirDogs and Jackie Brown; it was not heavy with action like Kill Bill 1/2. However, it is a period piece like his last three movies, The Hateuful Eight, Django Unchained, and Inglorious Basterds.

It is a beautifully told story which allows the exploration of alternate timelines (he has done the before in Inglorious Bastards. It does tend to form as a story slower than most of his writings, but it is a story which needs to be told at this pace.

Many classic movies in history follow the same pace. I think this is why he used this type of storytelling. He is comparing classic movies of culture; the timeless storytelling moviegoers were used to many years ago.

What I liked the most about this movie is QT purposely integrated his classic fashionable trademarks within to ensure everyone knows this is a powerful story told only the way he knows how. He used his trademark of showing feet more in this movie than any other. In all of his movies those feet are always attached to incredibly beautiful women (one exception is Carradine in KB II. I think he may be doing this to show his feelings about Hollywood and this era.

Also, just to let you know, when you see this, make sure to stay through the credits. There is a scene to see.

Hats off to you Mr. Tarintino for this beautiful piece of storytelling. Take a bow sir! Encore, Encore.

Something about this movie makes me think that it will age very well, kind of like Fight Club. I saw it twice, and both times I absolutely loved it. There is something special about this, and it ranks pretty well among my favourite Tarantino films. It definitely isn't a Pulp FIction or an Inglorious Basterds, but something about this movie is just so appealing to me, I can't get enough of it. I would probably rate this as my favourite movie of the year. Saying all of this, I am a huge fan of Tarantino, so it could just be a byas, but I think everyone should give it a watch and see what they think.
Yeap. Sorry QT, but this one did nothing more than entertain me for 15min. Surprised with 8/10 iDMB reviews. Really. Makes me doubt all the other reviews given.

Will start off with I'd really give it a 7/10, but to help with the terrible reviews, I will give it 10. Solid movie and better than I expected. Had a good story line with actual levels and was well done. Were there some cheesy flashy parts? Yes. Was this anything new to the spy genre? No. I literally created this account to make this review because I'm literally insulted this has a 4 rating but Hobbs and Shaw has a 6. In what world? If reviewers can a afford the highly ridiculous situations in that movie then you will be more than fine with this. I also liked that it didn't force feminism down our throats but just showed strong spy women being awesome. Liked the story a lot more than the 2000s versions and had fun and some laughs. That was the purpose and it succeeded. These reviews are completely off base and I'm starting to feel a way about it (especially right after Hobbs.

Got another ingenious idea for Elizabeth Banks. Since she likes to create polarizing flicks in order to criticize past decades. br>
It's set in the present. But slavery was never abolished, and since this is social commentary, white people are enslaved. Sit back for two hours of fun.

That's the gist of why this movie deserves the thrashing it receives. This is the dumbest way to get your social commentary across. If it wasn't for this, I'd say it's a decent movie. It made Kristen Stewart tolerable. Yes, plenty of shaky cam. But any Liam Neeson flick has 5-10 times more shaky cam.

Story wasn't soo bad. The MacGuffin could've been more grounded in reality, really.
