Nick’s designs are very different to my own but the intricate detail and perfection will continue to be reflected in all his pieces. His first release ‘Ancient Mystics” will be released Friday 6th September, two weeks after the next Pandora release ‘Birds of a Feather’ which is on Friday 23rd August. After this release we will work together and bring out releases together with exception sometimes of special pieces.

Remember for anyone looking to indulge in Pandora prior to the new collection, my recommended retailers are all detailed below. You can find extensive reviews throughout my blog and hopefully these will go a little way to capturing the fantastic detailing of Pandora.

Early in 2013 I reviewed the Pandora Beads Husky charm. Pandora Silver Charms Canada have obvious appeal to a mass market and there’s been calls by Pandora collectors for a number of years for specific breeds of dogs to be represented. The team at Pandora Beads are enormous animal lovers and they’ve finally decided to tackle this theme. Today sees the launch of the first five Pandora Beads Dog Series charms, featuring the Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie, )#) the Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie, )#) the Pembroke Welsh Corgi (Corgi, )#) the Cocker Spaniel and the Shih Tzu. I’ve had dogs since i was tiny and my long suffering fiance frequently refers to our farmhouse as a zoo. With this in mind, I’m delighted to see someone tackle this concept.

For newer readers or those unfamiliar with the brand, these charms are compatible with all major charm and bead brands, including Pandora. For European collectors, both Pandora and Diamonds4Ever are authorised retailers allowing shopping without the import duties associated with the USA. There’s usually a short delay between the US launch and the pandora crystal charms arriving in Europe. This release is the first in the Pandora Breeds Dog Breeds Series. I admit that while most people have a favourite breed, I do like that Pandora have opted to split the series into smaller releases. The collection in it’s entirety could be enormous.

These beads undoubtedly have a cute edge to them and people will either love that or shun it. When the opportunity came up to start designed something a little more masculine, I jumped at the chance. I’m really happy with what’s coming together and can’t wait to see things eventuate further I have also designed the new Pandora website and it’s looking great. We will launch that later in the year.

A lot of my ideas and thoughts have been put to paper and we have agreed to group them and launch them in sets, based on a theme. The first launch is very close to me, “Ancient Mystics”. I’ve based these on symbols and beliefs from past and present, interesting phenomenon from around the world… Designed with my own style, I want people to recognize and enjoy them when they see the pieces.

This is true and something that is really important to me and needs to carry on in my designs. Basically my main focus is just creating pieces that are suited towards men, not to say that females won’t enjoy and want them also. Basically from the starting point of every design I will be focused on the masculine side and aspect of the Pandora Beads.

I like jewellery because of the size and creating interesting shapes and objects that fit in the palm of your hand. I also like the slickness of smooth silver and how it looks when it’s polished and finished. It’s kind of like creating images and logos in 3d format. I’m a strong believer in life in the universe, and intergalactic travelers. This is an interest I’ve followed and searched for knowledge on since i was a young boy. It’s amazing when you start connecting the dots. All the ancient civilizations were aware of it and documented it before us. I’m not sure why in our generation it’s become so taboo to talk about Pandora Rings.

I’ve been excited about the prospect of a Pandora collection aimed at the guys since i was first told of it. While Nick clearly aims to offer something for the gents, I rather suspect that many of us ladies will be coveting his pieces.

Pandora is a brand I’m passionate about and seeing any expansion is great news. I work with many brands now and one thing I find thrilling is the opportunity to really get to know some of the artists behind the jewellery I love.
