Summer School and SD

Summer school is very hard work! There are so many things to do, and in such a short time. I'm taking three classes, and they go from 8:00AM-10:30AM, then from 2:30PM-8:30PM every day except Fridays. I love Fridays, they are very nice. I also get a lot of homework! In my first class, we have packets and workbooks to do every week, and we have tests every week. In my second class, we have three chapters to go through every week and then get tested too. And we have a research paper due soon, and that has to be ten pages long! In my third class, we have about two hours of homework every day. My summer is being wasted with all this work. TT_TT It makes me very sad. Soon, school will start and there will be even more work!

(In America, school starts at the end of August, and ends in mid-June, unlike schools in Japan)

As well, I really want an SD! They are so cute and pretty. I would love them. These are the ones I want:

One more day of finals, and one more day of school! Boy am I happy. Except tomorrow are my worst two classes. T_T I have french in the morning, and chem in the afternoon. Yes, I will die. I've asked my friends, and they say that french is pretty long, and the grammar is really confusing and hard. The rest was ok. They also say that chemistry is pretty easy... but the person I asked is really smart, so I'm not sure how much I'm going to believe that.

But other than that, there is only one more day of school left! And then it's summer break! And then... I have three days to rest before I start summer school. My schedule will be as follows:

8:00 AM - 10:30 AM = classes
10:30 AM - 2:30 PM = lunch, free time
2:30 PM - 8:30 PM = classes again.

Notice the lack of time in between for dinner. That's right. No time for dinner. Sad, isn't it? Well... there's a 15 minute break in between my classes for "dinner". Yeah, totally enough time, right?

Well, the worst part is, I can't even complain about it since I signed up voluntarily for it. That's the sad part. And I have to buy my own textbooks. They are $110 each! (That's in USD) Which translates to about 880 RMB and about... ¥11,000 which is also about... gah. I don't know the conversion into euros.

I should probably go study for my two finals now, so that I don't completely fail them. xD

Oh yeah! I got a 108% on my Japanese final! I'm really excited. My total grade is something like a 105%. I'm happy.

And my math final and my wc final was pretty easy today. I'm not too worried about my grades in those classes. I have a 96% overall in math and a 97% overall in wc. My overall grade in english is somewhere between a 95%-98% right now. My french and chemistry aren't very good though. I have a 93% in french, and a 91% in chemistry. Ah well... keep studying harder!

Ice skating!

I went ice skating today! It was really fun. I'm so happy! I can do toe wallys and toe loops now. I can almost do a salchow and a lutz. It was really fun! I also did a waltz jump toe loop combo jump. In addition, I did a toe loop toe wally toe wally jump combo. It was really cool! I'm really happy, but I still can't do a switch foot spin. It's really sad. I'll try harder next time though!

I'm really excited because I get to go to Japan Town tomorrow! I can't wait to see the new stuff they have in stock there! I'll be sure to bring lots of money. I'll be going with some friends and my teacher.

On Monday, I'll be seeing Pirates of the Caribbean 3 with some friends. It looks really good, and I can't wait! ^_^

School is almost out!

I can't wait! School will be out in three weeks. ^_^ This is very exciting. But, as we all know, the weeks before school ends are the busiest.

For example, I have a chemistry presentation on nuclear fusion due next week, I have to write up an original lab experiment and demonstrate it in front of my class, and I have a test next Friday in the same class. I have a Japanese play I have to orchestrate, write, and act in in two weeks. We're planning on staging it at the ice skating rink. It'll be fun.

I have a book review presentation in English tomorrow, and a vocabulary test to do. In addition, we are starting to read fairy tales in French class, and we have to analyze them and do a huge collaboration project pertaining to the fairy tales and their variations from original French works to other versions.

Sounds fun, doesn't it? Wouldn't you love to be me right now? xD

Book report done!

I'm really excited! I know this is my third time posting today, but I'm happy because I finally figured out how to post stuff on here. xD

Well... my book report is done! It looks really bad, but from far away it looks ok. It's probably my worst book report ever, but I'm pretty sure I'll still get a really good grade. ^_^

I'm kind of freaking on my research paper though... because I've already written 4 pages, and I'm not even half way done yet. x.x Oh well... I'll just watch some skating movies and then go back to doing it. xD

Too much homework!

This is really frustrating me. I have a 7 page research paper due by Wednesday, and I've barely started it. I really don't want to write it. Then, to make things worse, my english teacher decided on Friday that we should have a book report due Thursday. So now I have all this work to do and no time to do it. Can you believe it? A book report. Those are things you do in 4th grade, not now. I haven't done a book report in what, 10-11 years. This is absolutely crazy. Ah well, that's life for you.

On another note, my ice skating performance yesterday went really well. My friends made this huge banner with my name on it. I was really surprised, but really happy at the same time. I love my friends. They're awesome. I'm still working on my sal chows, but I'm getting better. I can almost do a toe loop, but I'm going to wait on my lutzes. My toe wallies are fine though. I helped my friend for half an hour on her arabesques because she kept doing it wrong. She's got it now, but she still needs to practice. I also got my backward pivots down. ^_^ I'm happy. I'm still dying on my switch foot spins though. My friend told me to try doing a back scratch with it, but I can't do that either. I'm worse a back scratch than a switch foot. I'll practice more next week. Practice makes perfect, right? ^_^

It's really funny. I'm fluent in english, chinese, and french, but I'm not fluent in japanese although that's the language I most want to know right now. I'm learning it, but I'm still not very good at it. Right now, I'm teaching chinese and french to people, and I'm thinking of teaching english to some people as well. English is my first language, so I'm best at it. I should be, since I've been living in America for over 13 years. Chinese and french are my second and third languages, respectively. Japanese is my fourth. I'm planning on taking spanish soon. That'll be fun.

Besides teaching all those languages, I also give people ice skating lessons, singing lessons, and (occasionally) art lessons. With all of this stuff, I barely have time to do any homework or whatnot, but I manage. ^_^ The only thing is, I don't know why I'm still posting this on here if I have so much stuff to do. Maybe it's because I really don't want to do my homework. Eh... well, I probably should.

Well, I would love to be able to speak and understand japanese fluently some day. I'm learning it right now, but I'm not very good at it. T_T

I'm so busy with homework that I haven't been able to post at all since creating this account. I'm sad... ah well. That's ok.

I'll be able to understand what all of the links on this website soon, I hope!
