いよいよ冬の到来ですね。
Winter really feels like it’s here now.

近頃の祖母との話。
Here’s a recent conversation I had with my grandmother.

（祖母）こちらは雪混じりの強い風です。
(My grandmother) “We’re having strong winds mixed with snow.”

と初雪の知らせが届きました。
That’s how she told me they’d just had their first snowfall.

祖母とは住んでいる環境が少し違うので、こちらとは、誤差があります。
She lives in a different climate from mine, so our seasons don’t always match.

まだ、気温が安定していないので、就寝時の温度管理に戸惑いますよね。
The temperature still swings quite a bit, so it’s hard to know how warm to keep the room at night.

夕飯の準備の時間ですね。
It’s about time to start getting dinner ready.

我が家は、タラの煮付け。
At my place, we’re having simmered cod.

カブの漬物。
Pickled turnips.

カブの葉と油揚げの味噌汁。
Miso soup with turnip greens and fried tofu.

カツカレー（ご飯抜きです）
Katsu curry (without rice).
