Open Registry Editor by pressing Windows Key + R then put regedit in Run dialog box. Click OK.<br><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step 2.</span> Navigate to following registry key:<br><strong style="border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(55, 83, 98); font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings</strong></p><p><a href="https://stat.ameba.jp/user_images/20171104/05/kapilaryatips/f8/8b/j/o0601043414062696187.jpg"><img alt="" contenteditable="inherit" height="303" src="https://stat.ameba.jp/user_images/20171104/05/kapilaryatips/f8/8b/j/o0601043414062696187.jpg" width="420"></a></p><p><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step 3.</span> Find the Enabled name registry DWORD (REG_DWORD). Then set double-click on it and set it Value Data.<br><span style="font-style:italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">A value of 0 will disable Windows Script Host.<br>A value of 1 will enable Windows Script Host.</span></span><br>If you don’t look for the Enabled name registry DWORD (REG_DWORD), then you may need to create it.<br><span style="font-weight:bold;">Step 4.</span> Finally, you can close Registry Editor and reboot your system.<br>In case if <span style="font-style:italic;">Windows Script Host is disabled</span>, you will get the "Windows Script Host access is disabled on this machine" error.
