Its Tuesday!!

TO those of you who think there was something special in fact there really wasn't,then why did i put the exclamations after TUESDAY! is just an expression, I am just expressing my semi frustration-excitement-dumbness within overall in short confusion which arises every morning before you go to work. Here it is Ho chi Minh city where I currently work, and so far so good.

Recently its started raining and its really unpredictable, when the clouds would shower and then sudden sunlight appears drying up everything around along with a massive humid atmosphere which lasts for the rest of the day. ITs like...

Anyways so at the company i work majority of the employees are Vietnamese "OFCOURSE", and the rest consisting of Japanese, Korean and 1 Brazilian.

Yes interesting as it is, so anyways the lunch today is probably what i am excited about, the company provides us all lunch which we can choose from a fixed menu. I ordered 'Rice noodles with grilled beef' sounds good right its really good. Pretty much everyday there is something good, and it happens often that every time before lunch everyone is like....

So anyways passing the topic of the food and everything, HO Chi Minh just seems to be a past version of Tokyo, probably due to the major Korean and Japanese influence in the market itself. There are like Japanese LAnguage schools probably at every corner, weird! hmm i think ill continue this topic later......

My Last Nights Dinner

Finally it was a Friday, A long week, and busy at work all the time. It was far easy to be so tired but of course. A co-worker at my company invited me to an opening of a Ramen Bar 'SUZUKI' , which another co-worker had opened up just 2 days ago. Since I've come Vietnam or rather the city of Ho Chi Minh a.k.a Saigon has been surprising me everyday. From the crazy office parties with cake fights.
To witnessing the merge of culture and the new age, really extraordinary the way you see how rapid the city changes every day.
so now getting back to the topic of how the Friday night continuged was that, so i go back to my room and get ready dadadadadada... got on taxi and got to Le Thanh Ton , District 1 . There was the Ramen Bar i mentioned earlier, as we go in we notice the shining new interiors and dry faint smell of paint, but to the point they had an interesting ordering system where you choose every detail of the type of Ramen. Next time i go ill take every detail in image so you all can see. I ordered the red chilli based one which was soooo goood.

Meat was tender , the soup base was even better, the noodles i ordered were abit harder as i specified but when you order you can specify the thickness and hardness of the noodles, rest combine it with a beer or tea and its perfect. But soon they should have japanese pan fried Dumplings'Gyouza' once they come in. Im going to decimate their stock of Gyouza and Ramen. If you ever do or are in Vietnam you should definitely drop by.

Child Labor!

Despite of the FREQUENT rape cases , arises another matter of contention. On one hand applauding the uprise of the economy, concurrently observing 28 Million below the age of 14 working. Yesterday just another example where children are nothing but a source of recyclable labor force in a mine in India. Incredible India Indeed.

After spending 5 years in India doing whatever I was, just glimpses of seeing children on streets begging for money. Of course the curiosity was there why, and maybe i should help them out, and the sad part is that at that exact moment you cannot do anything else but give them some money. Instead a friend of mine sitting right next to me would only say "Just Avoid them" . Are they so easy to avoid, and the reason to avoid them is because "IT is ALL a BUSINESS". Now why would you say that, Population 1.2 billion and rising, GDP below the average, Poverty Level above average, Literacy Level Average, I think the picture became clear then. Then again why cant we help them , why not? it could've been us. Yet with the hypocritical saying " Children are the purest beings " yet purity is adulterated with malice and greed.

The ministry agrees of the problem, and of course they say "we will do SOMETHING" and that something would only be taking money off the development budget. Taking in reference to the statistic of 2011 Delhi and Mumbai two Major Metropolitan Cities of India , though each has its own budget for development. Their combined budget was over 2000 crores i.e $3.7 Billion. How much of it do you think its actually going into development. I pity the countrymen and their faith, where this happens to young ones, what could be the future of a country which once used to be known as the "Golden Bird".

Viet-CAP!

Another good day at work busy as it was, but then again the usual schedule, 8 am at the office and 12pm lunch, though the day is still to go, and here i sit and type this. Ribs and rice i had for lunch. Kinda heavy for a meal but it was good as usual, then as usual went to the cafe nearby, and there i see a woman who sells warm TOFU with some sauce on top, though i did not try, she was sleeping with the traditional Vietnamese hat on her head. Which i noticed that it is a very popular trend here in Vietnam to wear the traditional Viet-CAP!
Well another good day spent in Vietnam and as per my contract though i only have another 5 months to go, but then again im thinking of comin back here.

English Blog 1.

My first Blog on this site is going to be about the Site itself. Japan is by far the most complicated / sophisticated nation I know of, which also is my motherland. In terms of business and economy and almost every other aspect the country has segregated itself from other market making it a independent world. Japanese is the spoken tongue, where English is but part of a school curriculum which recently in the past century taken the form of the Japanese alphabets 'KATAKANA' . I've traveled many countries, experienced and seen many different cultures yet Japan is like a world aside from the rest. Ameba is definitely a site where people come together and maybe even foreigners that do understand Japanese, but on a global scale can it make its mark. Then again i am thankful to the blog that, this shows me another link or and opportunity to interact with people from Japan.

Peace ;)
