Join the corps! Umbrella Corps is a new fast-paced third-person shooter set in the Resident Evil universe. The competitive online game will feature quick, intense matches in compact battle zones themed from historic Resident Evil environments such as an Umbrella Facility map. Umbrella Corps utilizes the Unity engine developed by Unity Technologies.
Umbrella Corporation, a ruthless international pharmaceutical company, had been known for its genetic experiments and biological weaponry that led to worldwide devastation including the infamous Raccoon City incident. Although the organization was brought down in 2003, its legacy of bio-terrorism continued. In the present day, corporations with nebulous interests in bio-weaponry have hired squads of special forces for experimental battles in restricted virus-infected areas against other mercenaries.

Fast-paced competitive team shooter – players can compete online in adrenaline-fueled matches

Resident Evil backdrop – new and reimagined environments such as the Umbrella Facility, Village, and Tricell HQ are filled with enemies such as zombies, Cerberus dogs or Ganados which add an extra layer of threat or opportunity to the maps
Analog aim and cover system – flexible system allows for lean and height adjustments for more precise control when firing from cover
Gun and grenade based weaponry plus specialized gear with Resident Evil flair:
Brainer – a powerful melee axe which goes straight into the skull
Tactical Shield – an arm-mounted guard allowing players to utilize a zombie as cover
Terrain Spikes – boot-mounted spikes for trampling enemies
Zombie Jammer – a device which repels zombies only when active

Story
On Dec 25th 1925, a Japanese nationalist revolutionary group staged a coup d’etat. The revolutionaries acted swiftly, suppressing the prime minister, police, major corporations, and newspapers. Struggling to react, the old government faction sent the order to a secret information organization ‘Igasei’ to initiate an assassination program called ‘Yatagarasu’ and eliminate the leaders of the coup d’etat.
Overview
Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm is an original, traditional-style 2D fighting game with 11 playable characters and which focuses on delivering solid game play and high quality production values.
Creative Talent
Yatagarasu AoC features 2D pixel art by KOTANI:Tomoyuki AKA Styleos (King of Fighters, Mushihimesama, Ibara), and arresting character art by Miwa Shirow (Dogs, Black Mind) and Yasuda Suzuhito (Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor).
Voice acting talent includes Kaji Yuki (Attack on Titan, Final Fantasy XIII, Genso Suikoden), Uchida Maaya (IDOLM@STER, Holy Knight), and TOUGEKI announcer Koori Masoi.
The Yatagarasu soundtrack is created by Raito (Melty Blood, Under Night In-birth) and performed by doujin songstress LIQU@.
Gameplay
Yatagarasu AoC’s gameplay takes inspiration from Street Fighter III, but incorporates elements similar to BlazBlue. The control mechanics are simple and readily accessible to anyone, but gameplay is based around reading your opponent, parrying and countering, and is deep enough to provide an enjoyable challenge for even seasoned FTG veterans.
Dynamic Commentary
Yatagarasu AoC features a unique commentary system which provides tournament-style real-time commentary based on developments in the match. Both Japanese and English dynamic commentaries (audio and subtitles) are available and providing the English commentary are veteran commentators Jchensor, UltraDavid, and Maximilian.
Other Features
Other features include robust, GGPO-enhanced online play with rank matches, lobby matches, online leaderboards, tournament play, Twitter integration, and a fully-featured training mode.

Create music - with lasers in VR !
Play on a simulation of the Laser Harp from the 80's, with original samples taken from an Elka Synthex for an authentic experience.
Change octaves and scales from the controller to provide a full keyboard from C1 to D4 that you can control on-the-fly, this is a close simulation - including the limitations of that original 1980s system with just a few tweaks for convenience (the original didn't have multi-coloured lasers!) . This is aimed at enthusiasts so isn't a game, just your opportunity to play a Laser Harp.
*** Tracked Controller Support Note ***
The controls are optimised for the HTC Vive however Occulus Touch controllers do work, improvements to customise the UI and responsiveness for starting the Memory Game mode will be in a future update along with Touch controller specific instructions.
