Pick Your Champions!!! (Difficult Champions)

Now these champions are the real deal. They are high risk but high reward; you play them right, you take the game, you play them wrong, it’s a 4(your team) vs 6(enemy team). You might see them in LCS/pro level games as they provide more variety to a team play.

Try these champions out if you think you’re up to the challenge!

Azir – Uses Sand Soldiers (His W) to attack. Deals high damage, but very squishy. Ultimate can turn a teamfight to your advantage because it creates a wall where the opponent cannot pass through; using this in narrow areas can negate a lot of damage from the opposing team.

Cassiopeia – The passive and the poison mechanics must be understood to deal a lot of damage. The ultimate has a large area and can potentially stun or slow the enemies, but it has a brief casting time so it is hard to stun the enemy.

Evelynn – She goes invisible, but is hard to pull off because she is squishy and she goes jungling. She can become tanky, AP, etc. A pink ward basically counters her.

Lee Sin – This blind man is hard to play, nuff said. The first 3 spells each has 2 uses. His passive is the reason you have to weave spells and auto-attacks in a fight! Ultimate can save the enemy instead of killing him, so use it wisely. He has so many mechanics, such as ward jumps, insec kick, etc.

Orianna – Every spell is dependent on the position of the ball. It is a little hard to pull off a good ultimate.

Shaco – Fun to play, but pretty hard. He has a mini blink and goes invisible, a trap, a slow and can duplicate himself, but is very squishy, so figure that out LOL. (I can't play this guy・°・(ノД｀)・°・

Vayne – Her E spell needs a terrain to stun, if not, the enemy will just run away. Requires very good positioning skills. She has true damage and her ultimate gives her an AD steroid and can make her invisible! But she has a short range so make sure you position yourself to a safer spot when fighting using your invisibility.

The abilities and the amount you can contribute to a team do not necessarily correlate to the difficulty of the champion, for example; a good Ashe can beat a Vayne in a particular matchup and also the other way around. Ashe can provide more utility to a team while Vayne have a very good 1v1 duelling capability.

So discover the strengths of each champions and I’ll see you in the rift!!
(Don't forget to have fun!)

o(^▽^)o

Shiitakekinoko

Pick Your Champions!!! (Intermediate Champions)

Now in contrast to the previous post, these champions are requires a certain set of skills in order to perform well. But with much practice, these champions can impact the game in a much greater scale than the basic champions!

Not that hard, but not quite that easy either.

Gragas – First 3 spells are simple, but the ultimate might be hard to hit. There are so many examples on youtube because he <strike>is</strike> was highly contested in pro play.

Hecarim – This pony has the potential to wreck anyone in his way! He was once a highly contested pick in pro-play until<strike> the fire nation attacked</strike> juggernauts came along. His Q allows him to constantly deal damage to his opponents while his W allows him to heal, together with his ultimate and E, he can engage, disrupt and potentially kill the enemy back line. (Tip: take teleport and buy homeguard boots, teleport to a ward and E to the enemy adc)

Le Blanc – All the spells deal damage, ultimate may be a bit confusing. You need to unleash the right combo to destroy the enemy. Check out Faker’s (the best player in the world) Le Blanc!

Renekton – Instead of mana, he has rage. A good management of the rage bar must be needed to stay alive long enough to deal massive damage. Ultimate makes him big and badass! (my main <3) He is what is known as an off-tank, which deals more damage than a tank but not as tanky. The key to playing him is to unleash a combo then take in some damage while waiting for your cooldowns to use another combo!

Ryze – He is a very tanky and yet has high damage output. Knowing which spells to be used in successions is the key to mastering this champion. His passive can allow him to unleash 3 rotation of spells continuously if used correctly!

Twisted Fate – Can stun, restore mana, and slow from one spell, but might be a bit tricky to use. Ultimate is similar to a teleport, you can use to finish off enemies that has escaped or help teammates. Because of his ultimate, you need to pay attention to the minimap constantly in order to apply the global pressure!

Σ＼(￣ｰ￣;)

Shiitakekinoko

Pick Your Champions!!! (Easy Champions)

To get started with the game, to understand the basics of everything, it might be best to start off with a simple champion with easy spells. So these are a few of the easiest champions I can think of. They are basically champions with straightforward spells and can really turn the tide of the game with ease.

My recommendation is that you use one of these champions or other champions you might find just as easy and focus on learning mechanics of the game such as last-hitting, pushing, etc. Discover the strengths and weaknesses of the champion and do the same for champions you use in the future!

Ashe – Hit foes with auto-attacks, and the ultimate is pretty straight forward, hit, stun, win.

Garen – Hit Q, hit W, then ult, your target is probably dead. The passive makes it confusing, basically if you use your ultimate on your target, it deals more damage, if you don’t, still deal a lot of damage but not as much. Spam dance or taunt to assert dominance (ﾉ´▽｀)ﾉ

Master Yi – Ever want to be those cool samurais in cartoons? This is your guy, you press your ultimate, and just Q on a high priority target, the highest damage dealer in the enemy team or with the lowest defense, and just kill him. If you time your Q right you can dodge a spell too!

Malphite – the more foes you hit with your ult, the better. Your team will handle the rest.

Sona – you want to test how strong your new keyboard is? This is your gal! Press each spells, and use your ultimate on the enemy team, like malphite, the more you hit, the better.

Xin Zhao – Press E on the enemy, W then Q. Proceed to kill. If some people try to bother you, you use your ultimate. "Be a man" - Captain Shang (Disney's Mulan)

Next post will be a list of intermediate level champions!

o(^▽^)o

Shiitakekinoko

1ST POST KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hello Summoners!

So this is the first post of the blog! I’m excited that this circle is actually starting! Despite the excessive ragers and trolls, I have always loved this game ever since I started playing it. Although there are several times when the game feels like more of a burden then an entertainment, that epic <strike>Penta Kill</strike> Wombo Combo in that game one time will always supersede those feelings of anguish. I have been playing the game since season 3, long before the Summoner’s Rift was remade into the beautiful landscape we play on now(seriously really crappy back then). A lot has changed since then, and so many champions have been added to the game. My hope is that, through reading these posts, I can share my knowledge of the game to you guys and lead to some helpful discussions. (Also note that I am <strike>Gold Silver</strike> pretty bad.)

I assume that you guys know how the game works(if not, feel free to ask anyone who plays the game or the tutorial lol), as a summoner, you summon the champion of your pick to the Field of Justice like Summoner’s Rift, you buy Doran's items(or a flask) and start to kill each other and probably start to forget in the bloodlust that you destroy the nexus to win the game.

Anywayyy, I hope you find the things I post on this blog helpful! :D

よろしく～

Shiitakekinoko
