CNBLUE
Monster class new band, soon Japan major debut.

"lovable music fool". that's what I'm thinking every time I compose about
them. while being asian star, towards music they're somehow earnest, almost
like a fool. Yong Hwa casted in a drama 'Ikemen desu ne'. lighting up a
fire to popularity, after the drama ended CNBLUE made their major debut
in Korea and became no 1 in music chart. in in the twinkling of an eye become
a top star. though it seems to be smooth, before they made a debut in Korea
they went through a band training in Japan, experiencing a poor life. They
continued life in Korea as a major band which means television, and Indie
band in Japan which means live shows, at last they'll make a major debut
in Japan in October 19. They've hold their last indies live in Yokohama
Arena, monster class of new band. do not look down on them by saying they're
Korean idols, they're pure band men.

Q: Before Korean debut, to pile up band experiences in half of a year you've
done about 100 live performances, right?

YH: In Korea, we don't have place to do live. In Japan there are many live
houses but since Korea doesn't have a small box, we had it in a big meeting
hall with capacity of some thousands people. that's why even after we have
debuted in Korea we still continued to do live in Japan.

JH: In Japan there're streets, live houses and practice studios. In Korea,
we couldn't do it except in Hongdae. Absolutely we can't get the feeling
of live performance without experiencing it several times. It was half of
a year with so much things gained for live concentration.

Q: Listen to a conversation about being in Japan, the words that coming
out the most is "Don't have money" (laugh)

YH: Yes, we really didn't have money (lagh). On the stage we were really
happy, off the stage it's terrible! We didn't have money to go home and
to buy food. We absolutely wouldn't even buy juice for 120 yen, we would
looking for a vending machine which sell it for 100 yen. even it's only
10 yen, we needed to keep it.

Q: Band men is supposed to be poor, so it's the right life (laugh). In old
days, you didn't have money but you had freedom. Now that you have money
but with no freedom?

JH: In old days, we too don't have freedom. Because if you don't have money,
you can do nothing (laugh)

YH: It doesn't mean that we have much money right now, but those times were
difficult~

MH: I don't think it has changed much even now.

JS: That's true, nothing has changed.

Q: With the activity of FTISLAND and CNBLUE, has the consciousness towards
band in Korea changed?

JH: It's obvious that many youngsters are starting bands. But, it's still
developing I think. At time when we went to Japan, we were told that band
music is bad and noisy (laugh)

YH: Since a senior is the one to set a basis. I wonder if we too can give
a little influence?

Q: You've experienced many live in Japan but, in a street live to make someone
who don't know about us at all stopped and watch, to make more audiences
in live house are tough, right?!

JH: But it's a chance to make someone not a fan to listen to our music.

YH: The feeling of achievement by bringing more audiences is the epitome
of a band. We're struggling in Japan, from 0 audience to 15000 audiences
in Yokohama Arena came for us.

Q: You've obtained the feeling of achievement for "away" (note: I don't
get it what's the meaning). Yesterday, You did opening act for Linkin Park
but, it's "away" place, isn't it?!

YH: I was really worried! like will we get pet bottle flying to our direction?
(laugh). But even that nervousness was fun. It's been a while we felt "away".
Most of the audiences were male and since they were roused like "Wo-",
we too became "Wo-" tension up. It felt really "rock". Even in an "Away"
place, we want our song to be heard by rock fans.

Q: A song for Japan debut [ In My Head] is composed by Yong Hwa. In CNBLUE,
most of the songs were composed by Yong Hwa and Jong Hyun, but when did
you started composing?

YH: I started at Junior high. Maybe it's still kept in our PC at home in
Busan. If I listen to it now, I think ah, it's young, but I like composing
since long time ago.

JH: I've heard that song and I think it already has Yong Hwa hyung's color.

YH: Now, I'm starting by composing the melody with guitar...I often composed
from the chorus.

JH: I often write a song with inspirations from watching dramas and movies.
it's been a habit for me to write a song while watching movies. I too composing
song with guitar.

Q: [ In My Head ] were finished with what of circumstances?

YH: I made it quite sometimes ago. The phrase "In My Head" has floated in
my head, I started with the melody of the chorus. We performed it in front
of fans in Yokohama Arena, but we wanted it be enjoyed since it's rock but
it has a dance feeling in it.

Q: [Mr. KIA] is with English lyrics, written by Yong Hwa. But I think it's
kind of cynical song.

YH: It's cynical but it's like a warning for us to "always be modest". Even
if we're major debuting, in order to not to feel conceited, it holds the
meaning as a warning (laugh).

Q: [Rain Of Blessing] is a song in Japanese composed by Jong Hyun. Jong
Hyun has many affectionate songs. Is it because the real person is affectionate
(gentle/kind)?

JS: Eh! Hyung is an affectionate person? I don't think so (laugh)

JH: How to put it, I don't know well either (laugh). I think my appearance
is not very kind but I want only at heart I'm an affectionate person.

Q: What's the meaning of major debut to you?

MH: A checkpoint. Doing many live in Japan, We've stacked up many experiences
as a band. Starting from now too, we want to make good music in Japan.

JS: A new start.

JH: A chance for our music to be heard by more people.

YH: Our first step. From now on, let's reach higher and higher!

凄いね~あのモデル達。Epicな表現でカメラの前にポースするのはかなり難しいと
思います。私マジ苦手よそれ！汗

あの番組を見て私、おしゃれな気が起こってます。
モデル達みたいキレイになれる訳ないがせめてもっとカッコイイ、可愛いになりたいです。
メークにも苦手な私は今からもっと頑張りたいと思います。チョキ
そして、おしゃれとしたらやっぱり私服ですね。
毎日インターネットで可愛い服を発見、買いたくなる。でもネットショップならfittingできないよね。 ダウン
実際に似合うか似合わないか分からないです。
