I'll introduce about food culture of Tokai area.

みなさん、こんにちは！

今回のテーマは食文化です。

今日は東海地方の食文化について紹介します。

Speaking of food culture in Tokai,

I come up with Aka-miso.

東海地方の有名な食べ物といえば、

私は赤味噌を思いつきます。

It is a famous seasoning of Tokai.

If you live in Tokai area, you have it! I sear!

これは東海地方で有名な調味料です。

もしあなたが東海地方にお住まいなら、必ずこれを持っているはずです！

There are a lot of food use of Aka-miso.

For example, Goheimochi,　Misokatsu, Misonikomi-udon and so on.

Tokai people really love miso food.

赤味噌を使った料理もたくさんあります。

例えば、味噌カツや五平餅、味噌煮込みうどんなど…

海地方の方々はみんな味噌が好きなんですね。

... by for now, Why are there lots of local food use of Aka-miso?

Actually a days of old, Tokai area provide lots of miso,

but there are very humid and high temperature climate.

The environment makes it corrupted easily.

ではなぜ、赤みそを使ったご当地料理が多いのでしょうか？

実は昔からこの地方はみその生産が盛んでしたが、

高温多湿な気候により腐りやすいことが問題でした。

Therefore, people makes miso from soy bean.

It is difficult to corrupt!

This one is Aka-miso.

そこで人々は大豆から味噌を作りました。

これは腐敗に強いのが特徴です。

これこそが赤味噌なのです。

There are clearly reason of starting Aka-miso.

発祥にはちゃんと理由があったのですね。

Today's topic is "Time".

I'll talk about time For Me.

In my lecture, I learnt about time's concept.

Edward Hall defined time with two types, Polychronic time and Monochronic time.

P-time is...

• Concentrate on one thing.
• Put schedule first in relationship with others.
• Don't be late. Do it on time.
• Prefer togoing to according to a plan.

M-time is...

• Do more than two things at the same time.
• Put relationship with others first in schedule.
• Booking is ambiguous.
• Prefer to result of relationship with others.

To be honest, it's tooo difficult for me...

Then, I think that Which type is similar to My Life?

I think it similar to p-time because I feel that I'm against time everyday.

Commuting to school, lecture, part-time job, deadline of homework...

I always believe , "I want to have time more than 24 hours!!"

For few monthes ago, I have been to New Zealand.

While I stayed there, I never thought "I have no time."

I went to school and had any homework everyday.

It was same to Japan's life.

But I absolutely have room to breathe.

Why there were the gap?

I don't know the reason but I can say,

 NZ is not stressful country.

And then, what I want to say is

Japanese people are working too hard.

We have more important thing than work, don't you think so?
