The GUNDAM story is set in the fictional age: Universal Century 0079. The hero of the story, Amuro Rei is a part of the E.F.F.(Earth Federation Force). Amuro and his friends take on Zeon, the opposing ‘evil’ forces.



Even though Gundam is a very long series, it is very interesting and I highly recommend that you watch it!

Hi everyone!

I HATE it when people spoil movies, comics and books by telling people what happens without confirming whether or not others want to know!! SO, I want to make sure that if you are going to read further you are WILLFULLY reading information regarding the Gundam series and Star Wars series that you MIGHT not know!!

This is Davy. Today I wanted to talk about the concept of the "New Type" people that appear in the First Gundam and the "force sensitive" people that appear in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Someone has mentioned the apparent similarities from the Gundam series and the Star Wars series. However, I DID not foresee characters like "Amuro" and "Sha" to have special abilities that would put them head and shoulders above others. Haven't only watch the First Gundam series, I thought that the reason these two were much stronger than others was mainly due to the quality of the mobile suites they were riding. However, just like it seems that Ray and Finn develop their force powers during combat, "Amuro" and "Sha"'s special powers awakens suddenly but is harnessed over some time.

My point is not that one story is stealing ideas from the other. I am simply eager to point out some of the similarities, big and small, that I find in these two epic universes.

I am eager to find out what kind of other similarities I might find!!

This animation is about “tekkadan” fighting it’s enemies. The main character is a part of the ”Tekkadan.” I recommend this animation, however, I do not think that the Mobile Suit design in this series is very cool. So I do not like this animation.

I have only made two very simple kits myself. Now that I have attempted to make a kit on my own I can say that I know how difficult it is to make a great gunpla.

Definition of Gunpla:

I would like to expand further on how people pay attention to detail to create an authentic looking model in a future blog.

Today I just want you to see and know how a plastic model can have life blown into them by the maker!

For example this Zac model, has rust and dirt on his armor to show that he has been in battle in an area where with mud.

If you see the model up close you might even think that the body is made from metal!!

I have seen all of the GUNDAM series. I recommend the short animation “War in the pocket”. The characters who are usually portrayed as the villains are the main characters. This episode is very powerful and moving. The GUNDAM series is different from other animations. This is what draws me to the GUNDAM world.

My name is Davy and I live in Tokyo.

My student and friend Kimi introduced me to the world of Gundam and Gunpla. I am so excited that there is a universe of amazing characters, stories, and models that I will be able to explore for years to come!!

In regards to the story, I’ve only seen half of the first season, I am SO AMAZED at the quality and content of each episode. Although Mobile Suit Gundam aired before I was born in 1979, there are many concepts, words and phrases that are used that seems to be far ahead of their time.

The script writer for this show is a genius!

I am JUST getting into the GUNDAM world myself, but if you are looking for a highly entertaining Si-Fi series, you can’t go wrong with diving into the world of GUNDAM!!

I am a junior high school student living in japan. Japan is famous for their anime.

Of all the great anime, I love Gandam and Gunpla. In the Gundam anime, you can see the cool design of the mobile suites and the horrors of war. This story is similar to the STAR WARS story.
