It seems that my favorite time of year has arrived. Summer.

It's a despicable season for it's weather, but I can't help but be fond of the searing heat! It brings back a lot of good memories.

And gives me opportunities to enjoy the world a little more.

It's already spring break for me,surprisingly this semester seems to be going by really fast.

Yesterday I went to see Coheed and Cambria with a few friends, maybe you know them? They're a rock band from New York.

They're not super big, so the venue was smaller, but decent.

It was very classy, I loved it! I could see Versailes playing there any day.

I was not very close to the stage because I got there a little late, but many fans were kind and moved so I could try and see.(ﾉ´▽｀)ﾉ

In the end it didn't really bother me, I had fun just jumping, headbanging, and listening to their music.That's what concerts are about, and it was amazing!

Shot when I got home.I did heavy makeup on my eyes this time.

I though I would try to sketch one of his illustrations to learn a bit more from him.

Of course, it is nowhere near as amazing as Kai's works, but it was fun (*^▽^*)

I applied the techniques I learned from him into my own drawing of Legolas from Lord of the Rings. I was recently able to watch all the movies and I can't help but love the elves!

Closeup it kind of looks like he has bedroom eyes (?) LOL

It does not look as cool as his drawings, kind of more girly, but I learned a lot!

My New Year's Resolution for 2013 is to draw more. So far I have made a little progress. Hope everyone has a good day!

I really loved the lamps, it gave the restaurant such a cool atmosphere.

And of course, the food was delicious☆ I had a calamari roll with eel sauce.

The lights have always been my favorite part of the holidays. They make everything look so magical, and remind me of starlight☆

Truly it would have been a beautiful rose to have given to a lover. However, since I could not do so,I have decided to immortalize it in a painting.

It's not finished, nor is it really that good, but this way I could give the rose to someone far away and it would last forever <3
