classic zombie dilemma to face:

5 Improved Versions of Classic Games That Fans Made for Free

Everyone knows that making a great video game requires teams of experts, years of work, and millions of dollars. Which is why it stings so badly when two dudes in Minnesota come along and vastly improve the work of the professionals with nothing more than a summer indoors and a few crates of Red Bull. That's for the developers to cry over, though for us, these fan improved versions of classic games are almost all entirely free, available to you right now, and the most fun you'll have this side of go kart jousting.

For those of you blissfully out of the loop with modern memes: First, tell us how you live your life. We get the feeling we're doing it all wrong. Second, let us introduce you to Pokemon Fusion Generation, a random Pokemon generator that has resulted in more twisted creatures that should not be than Gossip Girl. It was only a matter of time before someone got the notion to make an actual game featuring these abominations (the . the Pokemon, not the Gossip Girls).

The story follows Bill, everyone's favorite mad scientist from the original game, who decides to fuse random Pokemon together to make untold genetic horrors, because apparently "responsible government regulation" is the most elusive Pokemon of all. Naturally, the various gym leaders, sick and tired of losing to every OCD 10 year old who made it past the fortified hedge blocking the entrance to their town, leaped at the chance to mutate and torture their pets for fun and profit.

A normal Pokemon game features adorable hybrids, or caricatures of more or less normal animals, like these:

It's a shame we'll never get to enjoy these guys in a taco sampler pack.

Pokemon Fusion Generation features twisted hellspawn that spit in the face of the PokeGod, such as these:

These would make . less appetizing tacos.

The best part of a Pokemon game is the vast variety of creatures to plan and strategize with. Thanks to Pokemon Fusion Generation, that number is upped dramatically and as an added bonus, you can now field such impressive creatures as a bull whale, an insane pile of candy, or a three headed bird Pikachu that wishes, above all else, to simply be allowed to die.

Ahh, The Oregon Trail. It's what we did in school instead of paying attention to math, science, history, or really any learning at all. It may have single handedly destroyed our rounded education, but hey, we sure do know a disproportionate amount about the struggles of pioneers heading to Oregon. That's a valuable life skill, right?

Well, at least the unemployment will pass a Wholesale Jerseys little easier with Organ Trail the zombified remake.

You've got high powered rifles instead of muskets and station wagons instead of the covered variety, but Organ Trail still has every basic frustration Cheap Jerseys that you fondly remember from its predecessor.

You can still die from archaic illnesses, shitty luck, and poor supply management all the basic building blocks of fun! but with the added complication of your dim witted friends occasionally wandering off and getting themselves infected by zombies. You get to decide whether you use them as long as possible or risk having them turn on you in the night. If you're not game for the latter, you have the classic zombie dilemma to face:

To shotgun, or not to shotgun? Wholesale NFL Jerseys

Of course, you can still name all of your characters after your friends, but now you don't have to wait for the annoying ones to die of dysentery if Chad snags your last Handi Snack at lunch, you can give him a shotgun breath mint in fourth period.

You can play the free Flash version here, or buy the "director's cut" on Steam.

A roguelike, for those of you who don't speak PC gaming nerd, is a sort of randomly generated game where the object isn't to "win" necessarily, but just to not lose for as long as possible. Every floor in DoomRL is randomly generated, every item and enemy is randomly spawned, and you can play the game essentially forever, and it will never be the same thing twice. That alone would be improvement enough infinite game! but that's only the start of the changes in DoomRL. The game also features an RPG style level up system. You don't automatically get stronger, but instead receive a single point to spend however you choose, allowing you to customize your character. Although we don't recommend putting many points into "reasonable negotiation" most blood soaked demon priests are immune.

Putting a few dozen points into "midair castration" is probably a good move, though.

The weapons are wildly different, too. Duel wielding pistols makes for a completely different game experience from specializing in shotguns . which are both objectively inferior to duel wielding chainsaws (a class build we shall refer to as "Lumberjack the Ripper").

Furthermore, you modify your gear, improving a shotgun by, say, tacking on a couple of bulk packs so it can hold more ammo, attaching agility packs to a pistol to boost its accuracy, or just taping a chainsaw to another chainsaw, because seriously, it's like cowbell rules: You can never have too much chainsaw.

Tomlin now has made

Worilds back in starting lineup

No rookie has nailed down a starting job at outside linebacker since the Steelers switched to a 3 4 defense 31 years ago, and now that includes Jarvis Jones.

Coach Mike Tomlin demoted Jones, who had started four games on the right side before first a concussion derailed his progress and now not enough Red Suede Dugueclina 100mm "detailed work" by him will keep him out of the starting lineup Sunday against the New England Patriots.

Jason Worilds, who started the season opener and the past two games, will take over the spot that became vacant this season when the Steelers released James Harrison.

"He's just not doing enough detailed work right now, and really Jason Worilds is," Tomlin said of Jones. "That's just the reality of it. Part of playing really good defense and playing really good football period is having detail with your work. There's Black Leather Equestria 160mm more detail in Worilds' work right now than there is for Jarvis."

Jones started Games 2 4 and had a hand in the first victory Oct. 13 at the New York Jets when he hit quarterback Geno Smith, causing him to flutter a pass that was intercepted by Lawrence Timmons at the Steelers 3 with three minutes left.

But he has no sacks from the defense's premier pass rushing position, just three quarterback hurries and was out of position several times Sunday in Oakland that allowed ballcarriers to get outside of him.

"He's got to play better from an assignment standpoint," Tomlin said. "If he's capable of showing that, he'll be given an opportunity to contribute now. I think that's where our mentality is and where it should be at this juncture."

Worilds, the team's second round draft pick in 2010, has one sack but eight quarterback pressures and a forced fumble in more limited playing time than Jones. His contract expires after the season, and the Steelers did not offer him an extension.

No one familiar with safety Troy Polamalu's rookie season would suggest Jones will wind up being a first round disappointment 10 years later, but he did not get off to the kind of start they had hoped for the 17th overall pick in the draft.

While the coaches would have preferred to bring him along more slowly in the notoriously difficult to learn Dick LeBeau defense, they decided to see if he could handle the job as a starter, beginning with the second game. They still rotated Worilds into the game in his spot, but Jones was getting the brunt of the playing time until it was discovered that he had a concussion from that Oct. 13 game in New York. On the advice of their medical staff, Jones was held out of the Oct. 20 game against Baltimore.

He did not Black Leather Dugueclina 100mm start Sunday in Oakland and played only 10 snaps to 53 for Worilds.

"Jarvis needs to continue to work. I think he's open to that, and we're open to giving him an opportunity to do so," Tomlin said.

Jones is the second first round draft pick benched this season on defense. Tomlin also replaced Ziggy Hood (2009) at left defensive end with Cameron Heyward the past three games.

Tomlin now has made six starting lineup changes since the start of the season for performance purposes seven if the Worilds to Jones back to Worilds moves count as two. Two others came on defense: Vince Williams for Kion Wilson at inside linebacker and William Gay for Cortez Allen at cornerback. On offense, Kelvin Beachum replaced Mike Adams at left tackle and Felix Jones replaced Isaac Redman before Le'Veon Bell's right foot injury healed and enabled him to take over in the Multicolor Printed Pony Dugueclina 100mm fourth game.

The Steelers waived punter Zoltan Mesko and signed 10 year NFL veteran Mat McBriar, a native of Australia.

McBriar punted eight seasons for the Dallas Cowboys and made Pro Bowls in 2006 and 2010. He has a career average of 45.4 yards, 38.0 net.

He will be the Steelers' fifth punter in the past three seasons.

Mesko joined the Steelers Sept. 2 after the New England Patriots cut him. He ranks 31st in the NFL with a 36.7 yard net average and put only three of 34 punts inside the 20. He also failed to cleanly field a snap Sunday in Oakland, and his punt was tipped, traveled 3 yards and led to a Raiders touchdown.

The Steelers released Drew Butler, who punted for them last season, when they signed Mesko. Daniel Sepulveda and Jeremy Kapinos split the punting job in 2011.

Mesko also held for attempted field goals and extra point kicks.

The Steelers received good news on the three injured offensive linemen forced from the game Sunday in Oakland.

Tomlin said right guard David DeCastro (ankle) will be limited in the early practices but will have an "opportunity" to play Sunday in New England. Left guard Ramon Foster (concussion) is cleared to practice, and they will determine how he reacts during the week whether to play him in the game. Reserve Guy Whimper (hyper extended knee) also may be limited in early practices but "we expect him to be available" to play.

On Monday night, the only trouble from Fox was the trouble he was giving Grayslake North. White tried something new with Fox, normally a starter, for the Grayslake North game. He had Fox come off the bench and limited his early minutes so that Fox would be more likely to be available late, when the game was on the line. The strategy worked.
Week 3 NFL Predictions and Red Suede Belle Zeppa 100mm Picks

Week 3 NFL predictions and picks aren't going to be easy. We are back with the week 3 NFL predictions though, after having another successful week in the NFL. Our season record sits at 23 9 in the predictions after two weeks, and now it's time to take on the toughest week of the schedule so far. The first two games are going to be a couple of the toughest of all, with Atlanta playing New England and Tennessee traveling to play the New York Jets. Yes folks, it's going to be quite the week in the NFL this time around, and this one has several other interesting match ups to chat about. The docket for any fan of the NFL needs to include the match up of two teams trying to get back to greatness. The San Francisco 49ers head to Minnesota to offer up a running back Black Leather Boudubou 160mm challenge between Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson. Both teams are 2 0 so far this season, meaning that this game will send someone to 3 0 for the first time in a while. Can Brett Favre send the Vikings to a 3 0 record? Yes, yes he can, and yes he will. The Vikings will take this one in the fourth quarter. In the Monday night match up we have Carolina traveling to Dallas, but Dallas is going to be really mad about losing the home opener to their new stadium. Look for them to come out quick and fast this Monday.

Week 3 could also be the week for a ton of offense, as there are quite a few teams that are mis matched as well this time around. Houston gets Jacksonville, Philadelphia gets Kansas City, and Green Bay gets St. Louis. This could be the week that Michael Vick takes over the Eagles, and that could make this another game to watch. My game of the week pick goes to the Indianapolis vs. Arizona match up on Sunday night football, where there should be a good battle of quarterbacks. Look for Peyton Manning to show is capabilities in this one right from the start of the first quarter.

Born in Seattle, Washington, I am a 31 year old college graduate working in the field of Education and Research.
The NFL coaches hot seat watch list

These NFL coaches aren on the hot seat yet.

It too early to say these coaches are in danger of losing their jobs; if that were the case, they would been fired at the end of lastseason.

Each of these coaches, however, will need to show dramatic improvements from last year, or else they could be looking for new jobs by 2015. Consider this a watch list (in alphabetical order) for coaches who might be on the hot seat next season.

Dennis Allen, Oakland Raiders

Dennis Allen (Kirby Lee USA TODAY Sports)

Of all the coaches on this list, Allen is the one who is most in danger of losing his job. In his first two yearsin Oakland, consecutive 4 12 seasons prompt a make or break campaign in 2014. The Raiders don have to make the playoffs for Allen to keep his job, but they do have to show improvement.

With Matt Schaub and Derek Carr as the new quarterbacks and an injection of talent on defense, another 4 12 year will promptAllen end in Oakland. The Raiders ranked 25th in the NFL last season in passing offense(208.8 yards per game), so the key for Allen in 2014 will be growing that number.

Gus Bradley, Jacksonville Jaguars

Bradley is in a similar position to which Allen was in at the start of last season: entering his second year with the franchise after an initial 4 12 season. The thinking is that Bradley will have at least one more yearto show he is building the Jaguars into a competitive team. If he fails to do that, however, he could be in danger of losing his job.

With the additions of quarterback Blake Bortles, who will start as the backup, and wide receivers Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson, Jacksonville is a very young team. It natural for there to be an initial learning curve. Butthe Jaguars last made the playoffs seven years ago, so patience will be thin. With a stable of young talent, Bradley has to show he can develop his players into a competitive team in Green Suede Belle Zeppa 100mm the AFC South.

Jason Garrett, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have missed the playoffs four consecutive years, and it seems like each time they do, there is talk of Garrett losing his job. Rumors swirled after another Dallas meltdown (losing three of its last four games in 2013),stipulating thatGarrett job was in danger. Team owner Jerry Jones guaranteed Garrett would be back in 2014.

But will Jones be as patient next season if the Cowboys fail to reach the postseason again? It not likely. For Dallas to make the playoffs, the season hinges on its defense, which is now led by coordinator Rod Marinelli. No matter what the defense does, however, it clear that for Garrett to stay in Dallas, the Cowboys have to play in January.

Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins Black Leather Zip 140mm

Joe Philbin (Robert Deutsch USA TODAY Sports) Black Suede Belle Zeppa 100mm

More than any other coach on this list, Philbin appears because of off the field problems within his organization, stemming from the Richie Incognito Jonathan Martin saga from last season. When Ted Wells report came out, Philbin said he did not know about the harassment; that may have saved his job. Former general manager Jeff Ireland was fired, and if Philbin locker room doesn show any improvement next season, he could be on the way out, too.

Despite all of the internal turmoil, the Dolphins controlled their destiny late in the season and nearly made the playoffs. A late season collapse that comprisedlosses to the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, however, ended Miami postseason hopes. The Dolphins scored seven combined points in those final two games and have a new offensive coordinator in Bill Lazor. What the Dolphins do on the field, as much as what they do off of it, will seal Philbin fate in Miami.

Rex Ryan, New York Jets

Toward the end of the year, rumors emerged that Ryan might be coaching his final games for the franchise, but the Jets extended his contract in the offseason, through 2015. The deal is reportedly based on incentives for postseason victories, so if New York fails to make it next season, Ryan could, once again, feel pressure for his job.

Despite having one of the worst offenses in the NFL last season, the Jets scraped together an 8 8 record. With a rebuilt offense, including Eric Decker, Chris Johnson, Michael Vick and rookie Jace Amaro, improvement is mandatory for Ryan to keep his spot.

Mike Smith, Atlanta Falcons

Mike Smith (Kevin Liles USA TODAY Sports)

Out of all the coaches on this list, Smith has the most security. Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff has supported Smithand both received contract extensions this offseason. If the Falcons don recover from their 4 12 nightmare season last year, however, the pressure on Smith job could intensify. With a 60 36 record in Atlanta and four postseason appearances in six years, he likely safe for now.

The Falcons were dealt with a devastating series of injuries last year, specifically Red Suede Belle Zeppa 100mm to wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White. With a brand new offensive line,Atlanta won have any excuses for another substandard season.
