I usually go for milk based #coffee but can't really go to #BearPond and not try their #AngelStain - if you can get it. The owner only makes about 20 shots a day and last time I was here almost a year ago he was sold out within minutes of opening. Got lucky and snagged one this time (probably because @sybaritewino wasn't there 😝 ) A tiny amount but thick and almost chocolaty, definitely worth savoring! #ShimoKitazawa #BearPondEspresso #Japan

The circle of life? (^_^). Just reminds me of the opening scenes of the Lion King, man I loved that movie when I was a kid... and I can't believe it came out over 2 decades ago... This was one of the few shots I took in Louisiana where I actually went out with my brother with the intent to take pictures. We'd actually gone out early in the afternoon intending to scout locations for an early morning shoot the NEXT day but... the lake we were targeting was just not accessible by car. We ended up driving around the lake for a few hours and this shot was taken from under the highway/interstate near an inlet/stream of sorts. I reckon a boat is needed for the kinds of shots that I want..a project for my brother to figure out :P #Louisiana #Sunset #Bayou #LakeMaurepas

It's not quite as cold as this in Japan, but after the 18 degree weather in Louisiana (and yes, the occasional minus-zero too), Japan is definitely feeling a little chilly. Then again, could just be my apartment.. (^^; Was away visiting family over Christmas and the New Year's, didn't do much in the way of photography, but it was nice to kick back and not have to think about work too much. Now back to the grindstone and hopefully start uploading more photos too! #Snow #Cold #Mountains #UpHigh
