International Congress of Veterinary Dentistry

“The European Association, who has been organizing these congresses for more than 20 years in various European cities, contacted us at one of previous dental instruments congresses and offered us to organize their congress in Prague in 2013. They noticed the high attendance of Czech veterinarians and their active interest in this field. Of course, we accepted the challenge with pleasure,” explains the president of the Czech Veterinary Dental Society Dr. Tomáš Fichtel.

The meeting will focus on topical information from all fields of veterinary dentistry, periodontology and dental surgery being dominating specialties. The attention will be also paid to the dentistry of horses, small rodents and exotic animals. Pre-congress training session will be focused on practical scientific tutorials followed by two-day meeting of scientific sessions.

The congress program consists of four parallel sessions providing information to both veterinarians engaged in dentistry only occasionally dental equipment for sale within their general practice and specialists who are engaged in this field at the highest or scientific level. The highlight of the social program will be the gala dinner organized in a magnificent Czech cultural heritage monument – the Municipal House.

This year, for the first time, Prague will host the International Congress of Veterinary Dentistry which will attract more than 500 experts from all continents, primarily from Europe, North and South America, Australia, as well as from Asia and Africa. From 23rd to 26th May, Clarion Congress Hotel Prague will provide venue for the joint congress WVDC/ECVD 2013 which will combine the 22nd European Congress of Veterinary Dentistry and 12th World Veterinary Dental Congress. The event is organized by Senator Meetings & Incentives agency.

Prague Convention Bureau closely cooperated with the Czech Veterinary Dental Society in the selection of organizers and venues. “We believe that curing light the event, thanks to its scientific quality, business and social contribution, will have a great impact both in Europe and in the world, and therefore we are happy that Prague was chosen as the destination for this event,” says Lenka Žlebková, director of Prague Convention Bureau.

Housework may lessen sex for men?

According to the study, husbands and wives spent an average of 34 hours each week on traditionally female chores. The men's average age was 46, and the women's 44. The couples spent an extra 17 hours each week on "men's work". On average, the males were involved in about one-fifth of traditionally female chores, and slightly dental equipment sales more than half of male-type work. The researchers found that women tend to be more involved with helping out in traditionally male chores, than men do with female tasks.

The couples reported having sex approximately five times, on average, during the four weeks before the survey. In marriages where the woman carried out all the traditionally female tasks, the couples had sex 1.6 times as often, compared to couples where the man was involved in all the female chores. Brines says she is not surprised that there was more sex among the traditional couples. "If anything surprised us, it was how robust the connection was between a traditional division of housework and sexual frequency." Brines is an expert in family and household dynamics.

The following possible explanations for their findings were ruled out by the researchers:

Male coercive behavior played no role, because women reported similar satisfaction levels in their sex lives in both types of households (traditional or "modern") In two-income households, the difference in sexual frequency was dental lab equipment still driven by male behavior regarding traditional female chores. Also, the wife's income had no impact on sexual frequency. The following had no impact on sexual frequency - gender ideology, religion, and happiness in marriage.

Brines said:

"Marriage today isn't what it was 30 or 40 years ago, but there are some things that remain important. Sex and housework are still key aspects of sharing a life, and both are related to marital satisfaction and how spouses express their gender identity."

Lead author, Sabino Kornrich, warned that men should not assume from these findings that they should not become involved in traditionally female household tasks, such as shopping, cleaning or cooking. "Men who refuse to help around the house could increase conflict in their marriage and lower their wives' marital satisfaction."

The researchers gathered and examined data from a national survey of approximately 4,500 heterosexual married couples in the USA who took part in the National Survey of Families and Households. The survey, the largest to measure dental equipment sexual frequency among married couples, included data from 1992 to 1994. Brines do not believe that the division of household chores - which in this study did not include child care - and sex have changed much since 1994.

Whiten your teeth with little time

My teeth became whiter in less than half an hour

Philippa used the gel for 20 minutes and was surprised at what she saw in the mirror after the treatment.– I saw the result immediately and I didn't even have the tooth whitener in for that long a time. It is absolutely worth the price and it's easy. And, you don't have to spend dental apex locator a few thousands at an expensive dental clinic; you can do it easily at home.

Philippa is satisfied with the results and says she is going to use the bleaching putty. – The gel is economical to use and I have lots left. I am going to use it occasionally when I feel I need whiter teeth.

There are few people who are completely 100% satisfied with their appearance.

Some want to lose a few kilos, maybe have a somewhat smaller nose or be a few centimetres taller. However, with certain small changes you can easily make yourself look more attractive in the winter darkness, e.g. by whitening your teeth.

21-year old Philippa Christofi really wanted to have whiter teeth, but was skeptical that home whitening would really work.

– I have never really believed dental equipment in do-it-yourself dental bleaching. I was completely convinced that you could only get good results at a dental clinic, says Philippa Christofi.

Her mother wasn't as skeptical and tried Dentaworks home whitening.

– She was completely lyrical about how white her teeth became. Then I decided to try it as well.

Philippa Christofi, 21, wanted whiter teeth, but was somewhat skeptical towards bleaching dental supplies at home.
