I've been watching fansubs since before it even got dubbed and aired on Adult Swim (2001, 2002-ish?). I know a few otaku nerds in high school were totally jealous and we'd squeeze in front of my computer to watch and then pick out the changes between the subs and dubbed lines when it officially aired. Soooo glad I grew out of that crowd... (ﾉ_･｡)

I just checked the dates... I can't believe IY aired so long ago! It feels like the final episode aired only maybe a year ago.

I don't actually like the series very much. But, it's been so long, dammit I'm gonna watch it to the very end!

And I know CDs/DVDs are super expensive in Japan (Ayu's latest album was $72?! W T F) This was still disturbing though: "The first two Inuyasha Kanketsuhen DVDs will be hitting stores on December 23rd and January 20th respectively in Japan. There are four episodes per disk, and will go on sale for roughly $65 dollars each."

Anyway, yeah, don't actually have much to say. (´＿｀｡) I didn't study at *all* for 2 weeks, and 2/3 of my Anki deck was waiting to be reviewed on Friday. So, I've blown through 700 cards, with 600 more waiting, then I can add some Ameba/Pigg-related vocab, then back to learning joyo kanji. Fuuuuuuun! (ﾟ＿ﾟi)

Then, back to writing entries in Japanese. Honest!

サンクスギビングは木曜日で，木とプレセントを抜いたクリスマスみたいなものです。冬の前に、北米土人と欧州の開拓者が初めて食事を分け合ったことを祝います。

サンクスギビングの翌日は「黒い金曜日」です。デパートがセールになるので、皆午前５時にクリスマスの買い物に行きます。でも私は黒い金曜日で買いません。危ないです！

この1週間は勉強しませんでした。ごめんなさい！祝日は本当に忙しいです。
