First bicycle ride in 2012

I went for a bike ride to Arakawa Riverside as it was a beautiful sunny day today.

It was a little bit windy, but because of that the sky was very clear, and I could see Mt. Fuji from the riverbank. I also found many young kids were enjoying flying kite. It was a kind of surprise for me as I haven't seen such scene for many years...maybe since my childhood??? Wow...it's a long time!! I thought new kids tend to play TV games inside of house. But still they seem to like playing under the blue sky!!

Christmas Service in church

I went to international church to get service today. I'm not Christian, but going to the church on Christmas is getting my annual event these years. The church is the one wich my Christian friend belongs to, and she invites me to Christmas service every year. I like it because I feel like I get refresh by listening to sermon even once a year. It's important for me to clean my mind in the end of the year.

<Big Xmas cake in the church!>

<Little Xmas cake in my house>

My bike

This(↓) is my bicycle I've gotten from my friend. I needed to change gear chain as the chain already had stretched and came off the other day when I went to the shopping center which is located in the area approximately 20Km away from my city. It was nightmare because I didn't know how to correctly put the chain back. Fortunately there was a bicycle shop in the shopping center and one of the shop staffs helped me fix it. The bicycle still has some problems, so I have to change some parts. But I very much enjoy riding the bicycle lately!!

Odaiba

I went to Odaiba by bicycle with my friend yesterday. It took about 2 hours from my house. On the way to Odaiba, we passed through Ginza, and I had funny feeling because I've never been to Ginza by bicycle!!

We had lunch at bills which is famous for pancakes. Texture of the pancakes was very fluffy like French toast rather than pancakes, and it was yummy. But! I prefered Omelette to the pancakes.

After hanging around Odaiba, we went to Tsukiji for Dinner. We had very fresh sushi there. Actually there was a fish tank in the sushi bar and sushi-chef cut up a whole fish scooped out from the tank. I felt sorry to those fishes, but it was delicious anyway....hahaha.

At the mid night, Total Lunar Eclipse took place, and I enjoyed viewing the change on my way to home.

Bicycle ride

The other day, I went for a bike ride with my friend to Kwagoe-city where is located in about 20-25Km from my house. My bicycle is not special one for long ride, and it took about 2 hours to get there.

Along the way, sign board which says kilometers to Kawagoe-city appeared on the cycling road. It encouraged me a lot. When I finally got there, I felt fulfilled as it was my longest ride. On return road, accident happened on my bicycle, but my friend managed to fix it and safely got home. It was good exercise and so fun!!

I had Ohanami Lunch again.
Tan Tan Noodle

I cooked Tan Tan Noodle for dinner today. It was my first try and just OK but not good. I accurately followed a recipe but somehow it was a bit salty. But I'm happy to know it's not difficult to cook and can have my favorite "Tan Tan Noodle" at home!!

Tea break in Jiyugaoka

I stopped over at tea house "St.Christophers Garden" in Jiyugaoka on my way to my grand parents house today. There was beautiful English garden in front of the tea house, and it was very relaxing atomosphere inside of the house. I ordered scone plate and fruit tea. The scones were freshly baked and still warm. One of the scones was cherry blossoms flavor and made me feel spring. It was cozy afternoon.
