definatly come to chicago, illinois. Yeah.. we are in the middle of the country, BUT WE HAVE THE BEST CITY!

I will tell you why very simply.

because i said so, and so does every other chicagoian.

Just kidding.

Our skyline isn't too big its just right, also, we dont have a smog problem so you can see the buildings, rather than them being covered up by disgusting pollution!!

We have so many cultural centers it makes me eyes bleed!

It is a party city, dont get me wrong. There are many bars and clubs, just be aware of the rabid anime-j-tards that you might meet on Michigan and Adams by the art school... they scare me sometimes...

an anime-j-tard is pretty much an otaku or geek of anything anime or manga related, but this goes from okay being a little obsessive of the stories... to being... 'I LIVE MY LIFE BASED ON NARUTO AND FRUITS BASKET' and the ever prevalent, 'YOU ARE INFERIOR BECAUSE YOU DO NOT WATCH ALL THESE 1,000,000,000,000 ANIME I HAVE CATEGORIZED IN MY ROOM/BRAIN' then the second part is the j-tard. these are individuals whose lives have been consumed by japanese rock and visual kei music.

I can say that I honestly do not fall under this category, because there are certain criteria to be labelled this.

1. You only listen to music from japan, nothing else, and if it is not visual, you dont give a damn or vice versa.

2. Your clothing is made in japan. You walk around the streets of your town wearing SexPot Revenge, h. Naoto, Algonquins, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Black Moral, Alice and the Pirates, and Moite me Moimete. Anything made in America is sub-par, and you have been heard quoting "uh, these americans do not know real fashion!" americans saying that about other americans... weird!!!!

granted, yes, I own a sexpot revenge necklace and wallet, and I have a purse from Algonquins, but that is really all.

I love the fashion in Japan. I love the music of Japan. I love the cartoons and commercials of Japan. Ask my friends, i find television programs on the internet so i can watch the commercials!!!

I guess what I am trying to say here is watch out for obsessive fans that think, just because you are from Japan, that you love everything thier steroetypical minds have come up with.

Anyway other than that, chicago is a very beautiful city that many poeople should visit someday soon!

i think that i should put down my thought process yesterday at a book store...

My friends birthday went well. She loved her cake. I ended up making Ruki's gem carey face on her cake. I used a bit of artistic leaniance, and i made the gems on Ruki's face multicolored. It was hysterically acurate. Everyone took pictures of it because it was so awesome looking, I am quite happy with it myself.

Well, I work at Starbucks, might as well let you all know that, even though maybe no one reads this. Either way, i am currently on a quest to get the CEO of starbucks, Howard Shultz, to create "BARISTA EXCHANGE" program, so that way, I as well as other barista's can go to other countries and work at thier starbucks... pretty much just a way for people to get out of America for a while and experiance new cultures, and then get paid for it, while others get to come in our stead and work in America and see what it is like here. It might work... it might not.

I have to get up for work at 3 am, for the 19th. its almost 8pm on the 18th right now where i live in chicago.

But, before I go, i do want to post about how my best friend got to hang out and eat lunch with Tatsuro and Maji from Mucc. but I guess that will wait until my next post.

Please do not think that I am some weird American Girl. I do not understand much Japanese, but I can figure out some of the words and characters. Thus I was able to create this account.

Soon on March 8th my best friend will be having her party... I always make her cake, since we have been friends. Last Year I made her cake in the shape of a bucket, that said Rape Me on it, based on the bucket that Kyo from Dir en Grey had. It was most amusing!! @_@! (葵)

This year I am trying to figure out what I should do for her 20th birthday cake. I was thinking, maybe doing a cake of Ruki, from GazetteE's face? His facial profile for the Gem Carey. That would be amusing.
