https://ameblo.jp/pinkyellowmix/ L'homme n'est qu'un roseau, le plus faible de la nature; mais c'est un roseau pensant. ja While most Japanese are not good at speaking English, I guess my speaking is much better than my reading or writing. This is because of my English teachers at my school.

When I was in junior high, there was an American English teacher named Amy in my school. I went to her room to talk with her in English every lunch time and after school even on  Saturday. (Thank you Amy!) At first, I couldn't really express myself.I was just able to say simple things like, "Today is hot, so I want to drink something cold." "I went shopping and bought this and this and...." but gradually, as I learned English, I learned to express my feeling or my experiences or my opinion in details. Amy and I not only talked about music, food or fashion, but we also talked about politics, the economy, the world problems. Also,I started to write an English essay every day, and handed in them once a week to Amy. It was a lot of work really. Come to think of it, My English has improved a lot since then.

but to be honest, I am not so good at reading. I've made an effort to improve my writing and speaking English, but not on reading. Actually, I don't even like reading in Japanese. I don't like reading... hehe

First of all, I like learning languages. Actually, I am interested in all of the languages in the world. Maybe this is because I like having conversations with people. I'm always chatting with people at school and even at home, and always talking with my friends including Internet friends.

I've started learning English since I was six years old (I used to go to a cram school to take English classes.), but until I entered junior high, I never learned any grammar. (to tell you the truth, I couldn't even write the alphabet...) I just naturally learned to speak English by listening and imitating what my teacher said,so I was always my teacher's favorite. (at that time, my parents and I sometimes talked in English.) lol

In junior high and high school, I learned English more seriously. I mean, I practiced how to pronounce words and I memorized lots of English phrases. Many people complain that it's so boring, I was always feeling happy when I was studying English.

I passed the Uni!!!! I knew it! I knew it! I'm gonna major in Sociology! I am so excited to be a uni student, and I am gonna enjoy the rest of my high school days!

You ask me what made me wanna restart? Because, I finished the entrance exam of university!! Well... actually, it was only interview though.

You know there are various types of way to enter university, In my case, I was able to get the special recommendation from my school, so I just needed to take interview. It might sounds so easy but actually, to get a special recommendation is pretty hard. I had to get super high scores in every exam, and I did so many volunteer works, I will write about my volunteer experience later. Anyway, My high school days were so tiring, it was fun though.

Now, All I have to do is to wait for the result. I'm sure I can get the good results!!

I feel so relaxed now!!
