Best NFL Quarterbacks cheap nfl jerseys of the 1970's

In the 1970's, the NFL was continuing to increase in interest and popularity. The decade provided us with some historic moments, and some memorable teams. Many classify the 1970's as the decade of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They captured four Super Bowl victories over the course of the decade. The Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders also enjoyed success in the 1970's, winning three Super Bowls combined. The trio of powerhouse teams were led by winning quarterbacks. Roger Staubach, Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys of the NFL, and the Kansas City Chiefs of the AFL drafted Staubach in the 1964 NFL and AFL drafts. However, Staubach served four years in the Navy before he joined the Cowboys in 1969. He became the full time starter in 1971, leading the Cowboys to the first of two Super Bowls in the 1970's. They also won ultimate prize in 1977. He owned the top passing rating in 1971, 1973, 1978, and 1979. He led the Cowboys to 11 post season wins and only six losses before he retired in 1980 while still one of the most productive quarterbacks in the NFL. Arguably, his two best seasons were his final two in the league.

The colorful Bradshaw was the first overall pick in the 1970 NFL draft, therefore, everyone expected him to perform at a high level. Well, Bradshaw, along with the celebrated "Steel Curtain" defense proceeded to rule the decade of the 1970's, winning four Super Bowls. Despite all of the success he enjoyed, he encountered a few mediocre seasons. Bradshaw struggled with consistency early in his career, including a miserable 24 wholesale nfl jerseys interception season his rookie year. He had stellar post season record of 14 wins and only five losses. He won the NFL MVP award in 1978 when he threw 28 touchdown passes, a career high, and 2,915 yards.

Over cheap wedding dresses online the course of the 1970's, Bradshaw threw for 19,918 yards, 147 touchdown passes, and 163 interceptions.

Ken Stabler, Oakland Raiders

Stabler was a second round draft pick by the Oakland Raiders in the 1968 NFL draft. His playing days began in 1970 as a backup. He became the team's starting quarterback in 1973. He was the AFC player of the year in 1974 and 1976, leading the NFL touchdown passes in both seasons. He led the Raiders to the AFC title game in five seasons, winning Super Bowl XI in 1976. He also had a passer rating of 103.4 in 1976. Stabler threw 26 touchdown passes or more in three different seasons throughout the 1970's, as the Raiders were the dominant force in the West division. The Raiders traded Stabler to the Houston Oilers following the 1979 season. He won seven post season outings while losing five. He retired in 1984. Stabler edged out Fran Tarkenton to earn a spot on the list.

In the 1970's Stabler threw for 19,077 yards, 150 touchdown passes, and 143 interceptions. He is currently writing for the Atlanta Examiner, and also runs his own blog, NASCAR Racing Scene.

Related ContentSuper Bowl Trivia QuizThe Top Ten Greatest NFL Quarterbacks of All TimeWhat NFL Quarterbacks Have Won the Most Super Bowls?Top NFL Quarterbacks of All Time: Career Touchdown PassesTerry Bradshaw Says If Steelers Owner, He Would Have Dumped Ben RoethlisbergerMeeting Terry BradshawA Brief History of Terry Bradshaw

New Orleans Saints players

Why Are so Many Players in the NFL Getting Injured Cheap Snapbacks Hats

In order to figure out exactly why so many NFL players are getting injured this season, we must look at some of the changes that happened to the NFL because of the lockout. The 2011 NFL lockout officially ended August 4th. Due to the lockout, the players missed two and a half weeks of Training Camp as well as not being able to work out in the team's facilities. Drew Brees led as many as 40 New Orleans Saints players through six straight weeks of practice. The Saints are one of the healthiest teams currently in the NFL. chi flat irons The Green Bay Packers also had practiced led by Aaron Rodgers. The San Francisco 49'ers also participated in teams practiced during the lockout. Alex Smith led the 49'ers through practices, even though he was a Free Agent. Second round draft pick Colin Kaepernick participated in practices too. Smith was with him every step of the way, preparing Kaepernick to be the starter for week one. Alex Smith was resigned and is now leading the 49'ers to an unexpected 5 1 record.

It is obvious that the teams who practiced during the off season were the most prepared for the season. The Packers look just like they did in the Super bowl, while the 49'ers are leading their division. Could the reason these teams have not suffered serious injuries to their core players is because of their off season practice? I believe so. The Kansas City held practices during the off season, but not close to the extent of the Saints and 49'ers. In the first three weeks the lost for the season, Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry, Pro Bowl Running Back Jamal Charles and sophomore Tight End Tony Moeaki. All three injuries were Knee related. This could be due to the fact the teams have to been practicing enough previous to training camp and the Season. 's second round draft pick, running back Mikel Leshoure to a torn Achilles during training camp and was placed on injured reserve. Possibly the most impactful season ending injury was to Kenny Britt. Britt tore his ACL and MCL, that's an injury Wholesale Snapbacks that could make it hard for him to ever come back to the NFL. I don't want to forget that Nate Kaeding tore his ACL on the season opening kickoff, the kick was taken back 103 yards for a TD by Percy Harvin. These are only a couple of season ending injuries to prominent players, look at (Figure1) to see the others.

(Figure 1)Parrish, Roscoe WR IR Ankle injury, Injured reserve (IR)Beason, Jon LB IR Achilles, Injured reserve (IR)LeShoure, Mikel RB chi flat iron website IR Achilles, Injured reserve (IR)Williams, Mario DE IR Torn pectoral muscle, Injured reserve (IR)Moeaki, Tony TE IR Knee injury, Injured reserve (IR)Collins, Kerry QB IR Concussion, Injured reserve (IR)Kaeding, Nate PK IR Torn ACL, Injured reserve (IR)Graham, Earnest RB IR Achilles, Injured reserve (IR).

What Banks Offer NFL Credit Cards Cheap Handbags

Barclaycard distributes the official National Football League credit card, called the NFL Extra Points Rewards Card. Fans Cheap Bags approved for the card can earn points for dollars spent, redeeming them for tickets, discounts on NFL merchandise and VIP experiences. Fans can choose their favorite team and receive the Master Card decorated with the team's colors and logo. The NFL and Barclaycard US announced their multi year partnership in June 2010. With American operations based in Wilmington, Delaware, Barclays also operates in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Far East.

Bank of America, which partnered with the NFL for three years to offer the official credit card, stopped the service once Barclaycard took over. Although the bank no longer offers official NFL credit cards, it offers football themed debit cards with four choices the Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Washington Redskins. Bank of America struck agreements with the individual football teams to offer the cards. The Cheap NBA Jerseys themed checking accounts also include checks decorated with your team of choice and the same services as other Bank of America checking accounts.

When NFL switched from Bank of America to Barclaycard, cardholders scrambled to change their cards. Bank of America sent most of the NFL cardholders new, regular cards with the same account number. Cardholders had to weigh the financial impacts of closing a credit card they perhaps no longer wanted, which could lower their credit score, or paying to transfer an old balance to a new card.
