Then, this morning, all better! It's really a strange thing.

Two good things happened, though, one was reading Shipwrecks by Yoshimura Akira. It was the last of the pile of books from the library and definitely the best. Excellent writing and, I would imagine, translating. two thumbs up.

The other was great silent movie I watched called "Wings." It had one guy in it who was obviously just cast for his dashing good looks. Though I couldn't hear a word he said it was clear the guy was a terrible actor, but boy could he just stand there and look good.

For all of the rest of the actors the meaning of what they were expressing was apparent, but with this guy I had to wait until someone else reacted or they put up a dialogue card because no matter what was going on he had one face for it: vaguely nauseated. Or maybe that was just my guts talking. Whichever way, it just goes to show how much those silent movie actors could convey--when they were good--and how important dialogue was when they weren't.

Boy just came over to club me on the head with his tail. Thanks a lot. I love you, too, Mister.
