怖い夢をみて、あまりに怖くて夫に内容を話したら、「おもしろいからそれ書いたら？」って言われました。
その夢の内容は、
あるところに3姉妹がいました。3人は仲が良かったのですが、長女は他の姉妹より少々年が離れていたので、時々他の姉妹達と離れて一人でいることがありました。

というところまで書きました。

まず、
the gap of the age between the middle sister and the youngest one was just one year,
の部分。ここは「下の姉妹の年の差はたった1年なので、」と書きたかった部分です。
ここでもmiddleとyoungestが。もはやmiddleとyoungestの呪いです。
これを先生は
「the two younger sisters’ age difference」とシンプルに表現しています。さすがです。

あとはresembleをわたしは形容詞だと思っていたんですが、添削してもらって動詞だと気がつきました。
あと a twins.これもtwinsは双子って名詞だから冠詞のaがいるでしょ、と思っていたら、aはいらないそうです。これも指摘されて知りました。

ここで悩んだのは、
「長女は他の姉妹と7歳くらい離れているので」の箇所と「だから（時々）一人でいることを好んだ」って箇所
but the eldest sister was almost 7 years older than the middle one, so she preferred to be alone.
と私は書きましたが、今見ると、soが全然前の文章と繋がってない。
先生の添削は「due to their age gap」があって、だから「she prefers to be alone.」が繋がる。

の部分も
She is almost 7 years older than the next sibling
ときれいにsimpleにしてくれています。私のはeldest、middle、youngestが頻出しており、少々くどい文章になっています。

It was too scary for me to forget, so I can't help but to tell my husband all about it.
Then he said: "It's a really interesting story. You should write it down!".
My husband's remark is the reason why I decided to start writing about it.


(Can't help but tell means you cannot control because of an intense emotion)



自分で作ったBEFOREの文は文章が平坦な感じだし、語彙が足りてない。
例えば、
It was too scared for me to forget, so I told my husband about its details.
の部分。
怖い夢を見て「こわー！！！」と思って起きて、この話は怖いから誰かに話そうと思って夫にこの話をしたので、「I can't help but to tell my ... 」の意が正しいわけで。

This is why I will write about it from now on.
の部分にしても「This ＝ My husband's remark 」の意図なわけで、やっぱり私の文章では足りていないことが明らか。

こんなに短い文でも違うんですよねぇぇぇ。これは・・・・・良い勉強になる！

今回聞き取れなかった（単語を知らなかった）のは「engrossed」
ingrowth？とか Ingrowthed？なんて言ってんの？？？ってなりましたが、「engrossed」でした。

アメリカでは秋になるとなんでもパンプキンスパイスフレーバーになるんだそう。
スタバ、オレオ、ケンタッキーなどなど。
そういう訳で、秋だからガソリンもパンプキンスパイスフレーバーで割増だからちょっと高いよね、ってことだそうですｗｗｗもちろんジョークですよ

こういう細かいところは独学ではわたしにゃ難しいワ・・・。
ほんとセンセエすげえワ・・・

あ、文中の私の「先生」はワンズワードってとこの先生です。

I think it's important to never stop learning.
I always try to learn something new, my mind is a sponge and my body is a wonderland.
As much as I've learnt, ah, there are still a lot I don't understand.
I'll give you an example,
How come you can get a plane ticket on Saturday for one price,
and a different price on Tuesday.
Can you help me with that?
What happened ?


I mean, Portia and I were booking a flight for a trip,
we were gonna take in the spring,
we got invited to stay at a hotel in Mexico for free, and ah
we just had to go 8-hour timeshare presentation, but
I don't wanna say which airline because it doesn't matter that it was United.
but my plane ticket was 800 dollars on Saturday, and then two days later, it was 700 dollars.
And then the next day I went online and I tried to switch it, and it was back to 800.
How is that possible?
I tried looking online to see what make something go up and down that much without any reason and you know what it said? Menopause.

Right now it's 2 dollars a gallon which is wonderful.
But earlier this fall,it was over 4 dollars a gallon.

To be fair, the gas was it was in the fall so it was pumpkin spice flavored. but
other states are even cheaper than in California.
In Colorado, it's less than 2 dollars a gallon.
That's how they do it there,
The gas prices are low and people are high.
That's... they do that.

Across the street from here, ah right here, across the street,
2 dollars and 45 cents for gas and you think it's pretty much the same everywhere in L.A. but
then there's a gas station in Santa Monica,
I'm not gonna say which company cause you can see it in the photo,
almost 5 dollars a gallon.

That's a hundred percent real !
Real upsetting a hundred percent.

It's cheaper to drive to Colorado and fill up there.
That's what I'm thinking.

It's all confusing to me.
That's why I never change the price of admission to my show.
It's always free and it always includes dancing.

去年の夏からたま～に思い出した時にやってます

私はEllen DeGeneresという女性の話が大好きで、
Youtubeや番組の配信を見たりしているんですが、
リスニングの教材としても勝手に使わせてもらってます（笑）

今回、書き出してみたのはこれ

2分30秒程度の話ですが書き出すのに1時間45分くらいかかりました。やれやれ、とほほ
もうちょっと早くできるようになりたいな～。
あとは聞き取れない単語。じょじょにね。じょじょにちゃんと聞き取れるようになりたいにゃ、ワン

Zumbaとは、AFAA JAPANのホームページによると、
「ラテン系の音楽とダンスを融合させて創作されたダンスフィットネスエクササイズ」
だそうで、youtubeを見ると・・・






アワワ、完全に楽しそうじゃんかぁぁぁぁ

えーなに、このHappy感 しかも強え。
PharrellもHappyだったけど、Zumbaの幸せ破壊力ったらハンパない。非常に行ってみたい！

で、行ってきたんです。
今日。
はじめてのおつかいならぬはじめてのZumba。

私が行ったZumbaクラスは先生がロシア人で4割くらいが外国人のインターナショナルなクラスで。
初めてだったんで、きょろきょろしながら行ったら、入り口で外国人女性に「Zumba？」って話しかけられて。
「あーよかった、誰かいた。」って安心しながらその女性（後で英国人と判明）と「初めてなんです～」みたいな感じで話しながら一緒に教室に行って。

で、50分くらいかなぁ。踊るんですが、もうわけ分かんないけど楽しくて楽しくて
ステップとか全然でけないけど
振り遅れてっけど、
足もう上がんないけど、
ただただ
た～の～し～い～たらら～
外国人もいて英語の練習にもなるし、
こりゃ～新たな趣味になる・・・予感・・・おそるべしZumba
