Now, It's long time since I wrote the last diary before...

I've been away from English recently, so I can't help worrying about if my English skills are becoming worse...

Anyway, I'm just finished the entrance exam for a graduate school.
I'm planning to try to keep studying English on a dairy basis, even 1 hour per day at least.

By the way, the time I have left until I get into a society is not so much.
It might be passing faster than I'm thinking.

That's why I wanna cherish the rest of time, with a wide vision.

I'll hang in there after tomorrow with a new soul.

Lots of fun.
That feels like I'm still in abroad. feels like the life in Australia is going on.

Come to think of it, I met a lot lot lot of people, variety of people from different countries.
There were many precious encounters this year.

I'm sure I'll meet further more people next year, and experience things I've never faced before.

Every single person is forming a part of me, maybe.

Someone said that when you introduce yourself, if you can explain it through people around you, not by explaining only yourself, you must be a fascinating person.

This, myself is existing thanks to those people.
I'll be valueless unless they aren't existing.

I wanna put that thing into somewhere in my mind.

Setsubun-sai & Karaoke

While I was studying in my room yesterday, one of my room mates from France invited me to go to a Setsubun festival at Nakano. Actually, at first, I was not in the mood for going out, but I decided to go because I thought it was nice for a change. Plus staying at home a whole day makes me suffocated.
That's how I headed for the temple which took place the festival with him and another French guy in the house.

By the way, what is 'Setsubun' ?
'Setsubun' is the day between the end of winter and the beginning of spring. So 'Setsubun' is the festival to observe the advent of spring. On setsubun, people try to expel devil spirits and attract
good fortune by throwing beans toward demons with saying "fortune in and demons out". After we finished to beat demons off, we usually eat the number of beans equivalent to their ages. It is because people say that we will not get sick during a year if we eat them.

At the temple, throwing beans was also taken place (although it was in a bit different way), and we enjoyed the event. Other than that, we looked at people in Japanese traditional clothes, walking on the street outside in a line. If I had not been invited to the festival, I would never have thought of going there. So I felt living with foreign people makes me re-think about Japan.

Karaoke in Shibuya

I left home with my French share mate for Shibuya. On the way there, on the street, on the train, I talked to him in English. It felt strange for me. Speaking English in Japan. I didn't imagine such a thing 1 year ago. There is no doubt that something around me has changed before and after studying abroad.
We were supposed to meet in front of Hachiko at 1900. There are a great number of people there, as usual. My French friend's classmates came there one after another. A person from the United State, France, Taiwan, England... After everybody got together, we went have meal to Macdonald and headed for karaoke.

I had been thinking what should I sing in front of them. They might not know Japanese music,so... but no way the answer would come out... I decided to sing DragonBall Z. because it represents Japanese culture!!!
Everybody's responses were... not bad. hahaha
I think I could get my zest for the music across to them. so it was OK.
In other words, having fun is important!

It become an unforgettable memory for me.

Thank you Kevin for inviting me to.

About an interview with professor Goto yesterday

I was fidgeting during the night before the interview.
What should I say...?
To be honest, I can't say I've grown in terms of study because I didn't study something relevant to Goto Lab. almost at all.
In this half year, I just studied English.
But, there should be something more important I learnt this 1 year.
There is no problem if I can say that in front of him. I thought so.
if I can show him grown-up myself as a person...
I tried having the interview with thinking like that.

The result was...

Fine.

At least, I was able to pass on my feeling to him.

Now, there's no other choices than belief in my success.

(having said that, I'll still have another interview next month, like a real part)
