Once again, my favorite khachapuri is a bit off the beaten path, so calling it “The Best” is a little unfair. (But I do think it’s among the best).

I absolutely love this Ossetian-style khachapuri from the resturant Alani in Abanotubani. It’s the only place I’ve seen Ossetian khachapuri on offer, but it’s really delicious. The defining characteristic of Ossetian khachapuri is that the cheese is combined with mashed potatoes. My friend pointed out that this was probably initially a money-saving technique, but I find that it makes the cheese gooeier (hahaha) and creamier, while simultaneously cutting some of the sweetness and saltiness of regular Imeruli khachapuri.

The restaurant is divided into two separate areas that share a kitchen. Downstairs is the restaurant proper, which features a DJ and dancing (a more traditional Georgian restaurant experience). Upstairs is the “Beer Bar” which serves the full menu, and is quieter. It also has a nice series of “coupe” private dining compartments that are great for a small group. Prices are reasonable (an Ossetian khachapuri with 8 slices costs 6 GEL), and the food is good, though the service is decidedly Georgian.
You have to try it !!

There is never time to simply sit and relax, take a snap away from the stress of every day life. Lakeside offers you a place away to simply be, enjoy the calm of morning sun and listen the song of singing river.

The best from Bayley's you can have

Guys, Christmas is only 1 month away.

I don’t know what your situation is like, but I’m knee deep in sugar, flour, and butter over here. There’s glitter on the floor that refuses to come clean. When the sun shines through the window, my house shimmers like a disco ball. The cat won’t leave the candy canes on the tree alone. The dog knocked red wine off of my coffee table with his tail (I was trying to self medicate), splashing red drops all over my cream-colored sofa.

And you know, the best i can do is only to have a booze, home-made booze which only need a little pour of Bayleys and a scoop of cream add a half teaspoon of cinnamon and BOOM !! you got what i got!!

I believe that booze was created to alleviate holiday stress. Drinking is the only way to make it through the holidays with some shred of sanity. So, in honor of the holidays and all the crap that still needs to be checked off of the to-do list, let’s have a drink.

This recipe for homemade caramel Bailey’s Irish cream will have you forgetting about that pesky to-do list in no time.

Now, I know you have a ton of crap to accomplish, so I won’t take up too much of your time. This cocktail only takes 5 minutes to throw together, and, even better, you’re going to save a ton of money making this at home. How much? Oh, only about more than half the cost of what you would spend at the liquor store. Boom, money saved!
