写真を見たらわかるように果物6に対して野菜が4の割り合いでした。

葉野菜の根元の苦い部分は、ちぎってよけてました。(その部分は、みそ汁に入れるとか、利用法は、ありますよね？）

ミズっぽい果物から、どんどん入れてください。ミカン、バナナ、りんご、緑色野菜、という順番になりますね。

飲んでみるととてもおいしかったです。

講師の西原さんのジューサーの見た目と機能性にうっとりでした。もちろんお高いですよ。私も同じようなのがほしいところですが、壊れるまでは、我慢ですね。

今まで、自己流で作っていたのは、反省して、本物の緑野菜を使ってやりたいと思います。

おかげで腸のうごきが良くなり、肌もすべすべするそうです。
みなさんもお試しあれ～。

Today I went to the seminar to learn how to make green smoothy. We used bananas, oranges, apples, pinapples, spinaches, perseries, etc. with water. Fruits 6 to green leafy vegetables 4.
The soft and juicy fruits come first and hard ones like apples come later on the top of all the fruits. And green leafy begetables on the top.

It was very delicious.

Mr. Nishihara has a very good juicer which looks great and works great. Of course, it's very expensive. I'd like the one like that for myself, but I ｗould bear with my old one till it breaks down.

Now I should make this real green smoothy to drink it every day.　Your stomach condition would be great and your skin would be very smooth thanks to the smoothy.

Everybody, please try to make it yourself and drink it every day for your health. 　♡　(*^。^*)

建国記念日の前日に幼友達に「カキを取り寄せたから、食べにおいで」と突然誘われました。「忙しくても気分転換においで～」と言われ、心も軽く車で行きました。なじみの友だち、新しいお友達がそろい、カキも勢揃い。
　The day before National Foundation Day, my good old friend called me up and said, “I ordered oysters. Why don’t you come to eat oysters? You might be busy, but come on over my house for a change of mood.”

So, I drove myself with light heart. Familiar friends, new friends, and oysters were all set. (*^。^*)　
　蒸しカキでしたが、生でもたべられたようです。カキ以外には、炊き込みご飯とサラダ、ブラウニーを作って食べました。一人８個ということで、数えながら食べましたが、よくわからなくなりました。（笑）
　We had steamed oysters, but we could have eaten them raw. We made boiled rice mixed with meat and vegetables, salad, and brownie. We each had 8 oysters. We counted them down while eating. But we became not so sure. Hahaha~

　同じ日にまたまた、お友達から、松山でも一番の「ハニーズワッフル」に行くお誘いを受けて、食べに行きました。ここのワッフルはかりっとして、とても軽い食感です。午後の３時、とても混んでいて30分くらいは待たされました。とても楽しいお話と美味しいワッフルを満喫しました。外観もとってもパリのようにおしゃれなお店です。とっても楽しい一日でした。

On the same day, I was invited to go to “Funny’s Waffle”. It’s the best waffle shop in Matsuyma.
It’s very crispy and light. We got there around 3:00 pm and it was very crowded. We were kept waiting for about 30 minutes. We enjoyed talking and eating very delicious waffle there. The outlook of the shop is also very nice like the one in Paris. I really had a wonderful day.

　ごぞんじのかたもいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、『語源由来辞典』より、バレンタインデーを調べてみました。

　３世紀当時のローマ皇帝「クラウディウス２世」は、兵士たちの戦意に支障をきたすとして若者の結婚を禁じていた。バレンティ－ノ（イタリア名）は若者たちを哀れに思い、密かに結婚させていたが、皇帝がそれを知り、バレンタイン（英語名）にローマ国教への改宗を迫ったが、承諾しなかったため、バレンタインは投獄され処刑された。その日が西暦２６９年、２月１４日です。
　
　What’s a typical Valentine message? 英語でバレンタインデーのメッセージは？

“Happy Valentine's Day"
"Be My Valentine"
"You are my Valentine"

　調べてみると、日本ではやはり戦前、戦後にチョコレート会社やデパートが提携して、このバレンタインデーの風習を広めたようです。今や日本でもとても大切な日となりました。

As I expected, the custom of Valentine’s Day was introduced to Japan long time ago by the chocolate companies and departments. Now it has become one of the biggest events in Japan as well.

　日本のバレンタインデーは随分拡大解釈で、普段のお礼の印としての『義理チョコ』にまで発展しましたね。

　私は女性教師なのですが、ある年に驚いたことに、女子生徒からだけでなく、男子生徒からも手作りチョコレートをもらったりしました。恐らく沢山作った中でのおすそわけだと思いますが・・・いただくのは嬉しいのですが、ホワイトデーのお返しが大変ですよね。

The Last Day of Winter, Setsubun

How do you say, “Oni wa soto, fuku wa uchi,” in English? Why do you roast and eat beans at setsubun?
（「鬼は外、福は内」を英語で言うと？　そして、豆を炒って食べる意味とは？）

節分というのは「季節を分ける」という意味があります。
もっと分かりやすく言うと・・・
節（季節の節目の）分（分け目）ということです！
ということは1年に季節は4つあるので、節分は「立春」「立夏」「立秋」「立冬」の前日ということになりますね。

今年は２月３日（水）です。

冬の終わりを告げる節分の日

Setsubun marks the last day of winter.

Setsubun literally means "division of seasons." It is used to mark the end of winter and summer, and is derived from the old lunar calendar. However, "setsubun" has now come to mean the day before the first day of spring only. It usually occurs around February 3rd. On this day, in a custom called mame-maki, people throw and scatter roasted soy beans inside and outside their houses while saying, "Get goblins out of the house! Invite happiness into the home!" Some people believe that mame(beans) comes from the word mametsu which means drive away evil matter, in Kanji. After throwing the beans, people customarily eat one roasted soy bean, mame, for each year of their age, and pray for happiness throughout the year.

「節分」とは、文字通り季節の変わり目を示す言葉で、旧暦ではこの日が冬や夏の終わりでした。でも、今では「節分」は春の始まりの前日のみを指して、たいていは２月３日あたりです。この日、人々は「鬼は外！　福は内！」と言いながら炒った大豆の「豆」を家の外と中に撒きます。一説ではこの「豆」は漢字の「魔滅」が元となっているとされています。豆まきが終わったら、それぞれが年の数だけ大豆を食べて、その１年の幸運を祈ります。

豆を食べるのは、悪い芽を出させないため!?
