I arrived 10 minutes before opening, yet there was already a long line. The noodles were thick and had a nice chew to them. The shrimp tempura was very large, and it filled me up.

I went to a restaurant called "Udon no U" in Nagareyama Otaka no Mori. 
The udon had a peculiar taste to it, and I was surprised to find that one of the tempura options was tomato tempura. The service and atmosphere were calm and very good. Overall, I would say it was not bad.

Today, I went to a curry udon specialty restaurant called "Senkichi" in Shinjuku. 
The noodles were thicker and tastier than I had expected. 
It's a bit far from Shinjuku Station, taking about 15 minutes on foot, so the location might not be the best. 
I'm considering trying another udon place in Shinjuku next time.
Udon is my reason for a living, haha.

I went to a standing udon shop called "Oniyanma" in Ochanomizu, which was incredibly delicious. 
I could feel the passion of the professionals who made it. 
The noodles were thick, and the tempura was crispy. 
The shop was a bit dirty, but that's also part of its charm. 
Next time, I want to go to the Oniyanma in Gotanda.

There's a restaurant called "Rakuto" in Kiba. 
The udon noodles had an amazing texture and were incredibly delicious. 
The tempura was also crispy and well-made. 
I could feel the professionalism of the chef in the food. 
They had a wide selection of sake, so next time I want to try some sake too. 
I want to go there again.
