Day 31: X-JAPAN (covered by AWOI) - Forever love


Why did I choose this cover version? Why not another song of AWOI? Why not the others of X-Japan?

I've known X-Japan since I was in 7th grade, Daddy chose for me a Rock collection disc he had, which X-Japan in. Then I fell in love with this band. Because of them, I knew what is called "Visual Kei". After that I searched and listened from A to Z the list VK band. Until 2009, I found AWOI. You know, they really really saved my bad teenager life with their rhythm, their lyrics. "ME" of the present is because of them. They became the best band in my heart since that day.

But why do I talk about this? Because I thought if Daddy didn't give me that disc, maybe I would never know X-Japan, never know J-Rock, and never know AWOI. Because at that time, I like the other kind of music.

Daddy knew X-Japan, he always knows what I love, and what I WILL love. Why do I use "WILL"? Because I know he had many things in his laptop (and the copy discs) which he never use, but he still has it. And whenever I need something that I can't find on the web, I can find it easily in his laptop. Example, he has many Japanese documents while he doesn't learn it; or he has many softwares for his Windows phone that I probably know he didn't need it, but I need, because he knew someday I'll use that phone; and so on...

I can say I know AWOI because I knew X-Japan, and I knew X-Japan because Daddy gave me that disc. That's why I choose a song of X-Japan covered by AWOI in the last day of "31 DAYS ROCK & DADDY", even he doesn't know this band, or even he didn't like X-Japan. Because I want to say "thanks" to him, he let me know my "savior". Thank you, Daddy!
