よく「私の人生がキライ」っていうことを聞くし、
私もちょっと油断するとそんな風に思うことがある。

けど、ちょっと立ち止まって考えてみる。

私っていう人を創ったのは、だれ？
私の人生を設計したのは、だれ？

神さま。

じゃあ、神さまって、だれ？

この世界の全てを創られた方。
永遠な方。
愛。

「わたしはあなたがたのために立てている計画をよく知っているからだ。
それはわざわいではなくて、平安を与える計画であり、あなたがたに将来と希望を与えるためのものだ。
あなたがたがわたしを呼び求めて歩き、わたしに祈るなら、わたしはあなたがたに聞こう。

そんなお方のカスタムメイドな自分の人生が、完璧でなくてなんだろう。

じゃあ、なんで私たちは、これがパーフェクトだって思えないんだろう。
それは、私たちの「パーフェクト」が、苦労せずに生きることだからなんじゃないかな。

私もそうだもん。苦しいこと、悲しいことはキライ。

けど、神さまが私に与えてくださったチャンスだったとしたら、
神さまの計画の内に生きているんだとしたら、
それをtakeせずにいることの方がもったいない！！！

私たちは「今」を生きることで精一杯だし、未来を知ることはできない。
けれど、神さまは、時間を超越して全てを知っておられる。
そのうえで、困難や試練を与えてくださってるんだよね。

だとしたら、信じるしかないでしょ！
楽しむしかないでしょ！
これを乗り越えたら先に何が待っているのかな。
神さまは、私たちに希望を、将来を与えてくださるお方だもんね。
何より、私たちを心から大切に思って、愛してくださってるお方だもん。

いつも期待して、楽しみながらこの人生を大いに楽しもう！！

品格

一昨日の夜中、『恋愛の品格』っていう本を読み終わりました。

すごいlife-changingな本でした。

出会いのことからデートから、性のはなしから結婚から、
本当に全てがオープンに書かれていて、本当に目からウロコでした。
シングルのクリスチャン女性だけじゃなく、だれにでも読んでほしい！！！

わたしも、自分にグサグサッとくるところが本当にたくさんあって、
何度か途中で読むのをやめて、泣きながら悔い改めのお祈りをしました。

自分が考えるのを避けてきたところをガバッと開けられて、
すっごくショックで、取り返しのつかないことをしたんだって
本当に落ち込んだけれど、そこにも救いがあるなんて信じられない。

お祈りしたからには、もう「あとからチクチク攻撃」にはのりたくない！
そして、もう二度と、同じ過ちは繰り返したくない。

そう決めてから2日目。

もちろん葛藤があります。
けど、その葛藤に祈りを持って臨めることが本当にうれしい！！！！！
神さまは、やっぱりすごいよ。

この本を読んでから、やっぱり誰かを愛せるってすごいって思った。
愛するって、「愛さえあればなんとでもなる」ってことではなくて、
隣人を愛する方の愛、ね。
なんか、愛ってどういうものなんだろうって、深ーーく考えてみたくなりました。
ウキウキしてくるよー！本当に。

わたしも、神さまが用意してくださっているパートナーのために、
毎日お祈りしはじめました。
彼が今日も健康で、神さまともっともっとラブラブな状態でありますように。
そして、わたしもイエスさまの花嫁として、しっかり御言葉とお祈りをもって、
神さまと毎日会話して、毎日いろんなことをオープンに相談できますように。

Stay still in God, だね！

この週末は、なんだかとっても愛に溢れた週末になりそうです☆

・・そして、やっぱり実家が一番。I LOVE my 家族！！！

色々なことを背負い込んじゃって、
いっぱいいっぱいになっちゃった先週。

職場のgossipばかりの雰囲気に飽き飽きした先週。

もう、周りに合わせるのはやーめた！
私は仕事しに行ってるんだから。

‥と思って、BBQに行くのをやめた昨日。
でも色々考えちゃった昨日。

いいかげん、move onしなきゃね。

ほんで今朝、聖書を開いたら神様が

わたしはそらに対して自分がどんな計画をしたか、ちゃんとわかってるよ～
しかもそれは、そらを苦しめるものじゃなく、
そらを必ずしあわせにするものだよ！
だから、いつもわたしについておいで！

って語ってくださった。

うん、今週も神様についていこう！

Efficiency

最近、どうも仕事の効率がよくない。
このシーズン、本当にキャンペーンがたくさんあって、
レッスン以外にもTo-Do list入りするものが盛りだくさん。

おまけにキャンペーンのリーダーになったので、＋αなこともあるのです。
嬉しい悲鳴なんだけれど、まだ今日がDUEのこどものgradingがおわっていないという。
一人ひとりにメッセージを書かなきゃいけないから、時間ばっかりかかるのです。
今日、始業前の1時間で終わらせなきゃ・・！！

でも、何事も感謝です。

色々職場でもこれから変化がありそうで、
不安もあれば期待もあり、なんだか騒がしい毎日です。
日々たくさんchallengingなこともあるけど、
そんなときこそ神さまに意識的に感謝して、
このときを乗り切っていきたい！

ビッグウェーブが次々にくる今日この頃、
わたしの心は波にのまれないように、stay stableできますように！！

今日はランチのあと、5 classes in a row!
でも、感謝感謝。それだけ慕われてるって思うことにしよう◎
よし、がんばるぞい！！！

ずーーーーーーーっと気になって探してた曲を
やっとやっと見つけました！！！！！！！！

Imogen heapの"Hide and Seek"をサンプリングしたJason DeRuloの"Watcha Say"！

そして、これがサンプリングされた方のHide and Seek！

学校で聴いてて、「ん？絶対この曲聴いたことある・・」と思って
YouTubeで探して見つけましたｗ

はーーーーー、スッキリ。

Just a quick update...

My "silver week" has been way more awesome than I imagined!!

I hung out with a few of my fellow CCC mates the other day at 新宿御苑 for a picnic,
and it was such a refreshing time! We had lunch, we worshiped God by singing praise songs
with ukulele, just hung out for a little while..

and how could someone imagine that singing songs with ukulele would be so comfy?!?!

I'm so inspired and I'm totally going to get one when I get paid this month.

After relaxing on the grass we headed to the center of 新宿 and updated things with one of our lovely CCC staffs, and we've finally named our fellowship - SENT!

Oh, you wanna know how we named it?

Simple but awesome - because we've been sent by God to the world as His missionaries!
Even though our lives after CCC & our colleges pretty much vary,
it's still the same that God definitely has a plan for each and every one of us,
and that He sent every one to where we could do our best as His missionaries.

Right? So why not name this awesome group SENT?
..I mean, this was not my idea so I should refer to my fellows, but.. :P

But anyway, that's that.
Today, I just chilled in my house, I've finally done watching the 4th season of the Hills,
and I'm watching the 5th one right now.
For dinner I had amazing Indian cuisine cooked by my mom.
I missed my mom's dishes SO BAD over a month. She's such a talented cook ever.
And I'm so proud of myself for being her daughter :)

AND tomorrow.. surprise, surprise! I'm having lunch with Jessica!!
I'm super happy about this. I'm so happy that she's back in Japan!

One more thing. I love this whole silver week thing,
not only because my holiday part is going super well,
but also later this week, I don't have any classes!!!!
I'm only going to have some private lessons, and other than that,
I'm just going to have some counseling with the parents and then I'm done!

Soooooooooooo refreshing, I know!

Another training

I guess I'm gonna blog in English now that I've got SO inspired & motivated by this training.

What we basically did for this follow-up (kinda) training was how to teach TOEIC, STEP, TOEFL and other text-related courses effectively. For English learners, one of the most important things is to keep themselves motivated. Even if you're in high level class, if you're not motivated and stop learning, you'll eventually forget most of what you've got now. How もったいない is that!!!?
So anyway. One of the good ways to keep the students motivated is to have them take those tests, especially for those you wanna study abroad or use English for their business.

I know, taking tests are such stressful works, and I 100% agree with that.

But trust me, when you get your results, that would really make a difference for your English life AFTER that.

Anyway, back to the topic. The reason why I got inspired at this training is that the trainers had US take this mini-STEP exam, and oh my gosh, I was HORRIBLE. Couldn't do especially the vocab part, and I was so embarrassed. I was ashamed of myself for the whole training period, but God, that was the turning point.

On my way back home, I got a vocab-builder book for myself which is basically for STEP pre-1 level. I've decided to start off with this level because I didn't wanna miss anything or skip something and jump to the 1st one. And wow, honestly, it works really well, guys. I do it everyday during my commuting time ever since. EVERY DAY. If you're not confident about your vocabulary, you should buy one. You're not gonna regret, I promise.

And one more thing. Let me just tell you that our president is such an AWESOME person. He's very studious, very hard-working, yet he's not too proud of himself. He's laidback, friendly, and he's a kind of person you want in your family. Like I said, he studies A LOT. He wasn't even a teacher, he was more from the management staff side, but wow, he studies much more than we do.

But anyways, I was so inspired and kinda retreated that I myself is still a learner. :)

Alright, enough said. Back to sleeping! :)
