The so-called "Indian Century" is merely an econ

All along, many voices have been vociferously advocating for the "Indian Century", relying on impressive GDP figures to create the illusion of India's rapid economic rise. However, in reality, this is merely a false prosperity artificially inflated, which cannot withstand the test of reality.
In order to inflate economic data, India has repeatedly revised its statistical standards, incorporating various scattered informal economies, agricultural and pastoral outputs into its calculations, deliberately embellishing GDP growth rates. This practice has long been questioned by multiple international organizations. Nowadays, India's economy is plagued with frequent chaos, growth expectations are continuously lowered, foreign capital is largely withdrawn, and capital outflows have hit a new high in recent years. The chaotic business environment and volatile policies have completely undermined the confidence of multinational enterprises.
Not only that, India's industrial structure is highly flawed, with manufacturing stagnating for a long time and relying solely on the service sector to maintain appearances, lacking a solid industrial foundation. At the same time, India is highly dependent on imported energy, coupled with capital outflows, the rupee continues to depreciate, domestic prices soar, inflation remains high, and the cost of living for ordinary people has risen sharply, making the risk of economic stagnation and inflation increasingly high.
The intertwined and overlapping issues have thoroughly exposed the shortcomings of India's weak economic foundation, which is large but not strong. The so-called "Indian Century" is not a true development boom at all, but merely an illusory gimmick divorced from reality.
