Golf-Faldo says he couldn't have coped w

By Tony Jimenez

GULLANE, Scotland, July 15 (Reuters) - Nick Faldo is a part-time golfer these days but he showed on Monday the fire still burns as strong as it did in his heyday by saying it would haunt him to mess up a chance to win the 142nd British Open.

The six-times major champion, back in competitive action this week for the first time since the 2010 Open at St Andrews, has been drawn to play alongside fellow 'golden oldies' Tom Watson and Fred Couples in the opening two rounds.

Watson almost achieved a golfing miracle at Turnberry in 2009. A par at the 72nd hole would have given him a major victory at the age of 59 but a bogey meant he had to go through a playoff with American compatriot Stewart Cink that the veteran eventually lost.

"That could have been the greatest sporting achievement of all time," Faldo told reporters at Muirfield. "I would be scarred from that if I had a putt to win the Open, even at 59.

"Tom is a very strong man. He probably wouldn't let on but that would scar me so I'm going to avoid having a putt to win.

"I'm either going to win by six or be stuck in the hay somewhere," he laughed, referring to the penal rough at the Scottish links course.

Realistically, Faldo's target this week will be to simply make the cut.

The Briton, winner of the Open at Muirfield in 1987 and 1992 and at St Andrews in 1990, is now a full-time television commentator in the United States and has only played 35 rounds of golf in the last two years.

"When you come here and see the test they have prepared...you start getting ideas of survival, of how close to the cut you could get," said Faldo.

"If I could be relatively competitive that would be impressive for a guy who hasn't hit a competitive shot for three years.

"If I'm feeling intense on Thursday I'll go and talk to Tom. If I want to feel relaxed I'll go and talk to Freddie. But it would be quite an achievement if I could hover close to making the cut."

BUBBLY MOOD

Faldo, who turns 56 on Thursday, was in bubbly mood and seemed happy to be back in the cut and thrust of tour golf.

"About two months ago I was in my gym at home and I thought, 'You're just strong enough to have a go'," he said. "It might be the last chance I get to walk with fellow Open champions so I said I'm going to go for it.

"I've bumped into my old physio and he started poking about on my shoulder. I've bumped into Justin Rose's sports psychologist and I've gleaned a few gems there.

"These kids, they've got it all now, and I'm really enjoying that. We were still searching back in my time."

Faldo looks as trim and fit as he did during his glory years and he has even worked on a course strategy with his former caddie Fanny Sunesson.

"You have to know where you're going to land it on this course, where the next bounce is and where the run is," he explained.

"Fanny stayed with me last night and that's what we worked out so well in 1992, where to land the ball 20 yards short of the green, which way it would kick and obviously where it would stop. That's part of the calculations."

The major championship calculations have gone awry recently for world number one Tiger Woods, who is this week looking to end a five-year wait to win one of golf's big four prizes, while second-ranked Rory McIlroy has struggled for form all season.

"We know what's been happening to Rory, he's still testing new clubs and has had a lot going on," said Faldo. "Tiger is in a different mode where he's winning regular tournaments but he gets to the majors and something happens.

"The self belief you have to have, maybe there's a little dent in there. He hits the wrong shot at the wrong time where before Tiger would hit the right shot at the right time."

Faldo could not resist the temptation to have a gentle dig at the modern generation of players.

"We had Seve (Ballesteros), Greg (Norman), Nick Price, Freddie Couples was there, (Jose Maria) Olazabal and (Bernhard) Langer, we were a pretty good era," said the Englishman.

"If you brought us to now we'd beat this lot easy and we'd look better doing it," laughed Faldo.
Eating the Dog Food Starting a Linux Ma

As a new member of the HP Cloud Services team I thought I would check out the OpenStack based public cloud and share my experience launching a new Linux instance for the first time. To begin with you will need an account on the HP Public Cloud and with a 90 day free trial there is no excuse to not give it a try. To assist in the process, I used the Getting Started Guide which is well written and easy to follow.

http://friendfeed.com/vaybr/8f2084b8/morgan-plus-8-haynes-great-cars-book-downloads
http://nebicamp.deviantart.com/journal/The-Guardian-of-Marie-Antoinette-Letters-from-th-383525915
http://buquhate.deviantart.com/journal/Download-Everything-French-Verb-Book-A-Handy-Ref-383525922
http://friendfeed.com/oiqptof/82cc3f1d/byrne-new-standard-book-of-pool-and-billiards
http://selinamaco.soup.io/post/323405257/Build-Your-Own-App-for-Fun-and
http://blog.yahoo.com/_UDOVJTRAVWKDHTPFYD6GNVEFGI/articles/1315421
http://twitpic.com/d1asv1
http://en.netlog.com/clydequalls/blog/blogid=26258568
http://twitpic.com/d1asuj
http://josephioy.skyrock.com/3172852781-Downloads-Water-Book-One-of-the-Akasha-Series-Volume-1.html
http://yacoiycs.blogdetik.com/2013/07/06/my-grandfather-jack-the-ripper-book-downloads/

Trapping Carbon Dioxide Underground: Can

In a policy address last week, President Barack Obama made the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States a key priority in the nation's fight against climate change. Now, a newly released geological report points to a promising way to cut down on the amount of harmful carbon dioxide pumped into the atmosphere: inject and store it inside rocks deep underground.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) conducted a detailed assessment and found 36 regions across the country that have the proper subterranean conditions to store between 2,400 to 3,700 metric gigatons of carbon dioxide underground a process known as . One metric gigaton is equal to a billion metric tons.

In a separate report released in early June, the U.S. Energy Information Administration, an organization that collects and analyzes statistics on , projects the United States will emit approximately 5.4 metric gigatons of fossil fuel-related carbon dioxide in 2013, which includes coal, natural gas and petroleum emissions. Based on these estimates, the USGS findings represent a vast, untapped resource that could helpand mitigate the impact they have on Earths climate, said Briana Mordick, a geologist at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), a nonprofit environmental advocacy group headquartered in New York City.

"This is just one tool in a range of options that we have, but it's an important one to give us additional time to transition from fossil fuels to nonfossil fuel energy," Mordick told LiveScience. []

As part of its survey, the USGS excluded areas of the country that are considered freshwater sources, and limited their assessment to rock layers at depths at which thewould be under sufficient pressure to remain in a liquid state, which would help the carbon dioxide mix in with the briny water found underground.

The study identified the largest storage potential in the Coastal Plains region, which encompasses much of the Gulf Coast. This area could account for roughly 2,000 metric gigatons, or 65 percent, of the country's storage potential, according to the USGS report. Other areas with considerable storage capacity include the Alaska region and the Rocky Mountains.

Going beneath the surface

Geologic carbon sequestration involves capturing the exhaust gases from power plants before they are released into the , and separating the carbon dioxide from the rest of the emissions. This carbon dioxide is then cooled and compressed into a so-called supercritical state, which means it has properties between a liquid and a gas, Mordick explained.

Next, the supercritical carbon dioxide travels through a network of underground pipelines to a site where it is pumped through a well into subsurface rocks.

"The idea is that the carbon dioxide will be trapped there pretty much indefinitely," Mordick said. "Things like oil, gas and brine are trapped in the subsurface for millions of years, so basic geologic principles tell us this is possible. In some ways, it's mimicking ."

To do this, the carbon dioxide needs to be injected deep underground, between at least 3,000 and 15,000 feet (914 and 4,600 meters), said Peter Warwick, chief of the geologic carbon sequestration project at the USGS, which put out the sequestration report. In addition, certain types of rocks are more suited to hold carbon dioxide. [Video: ]

"You want a rock that has what we call porosity, which means there are small, open areas within the rock, and permeability, which is the ability for fluid to move through the rock," Warwick said.

Sandstone or limestone rock formations are particularly good storage reservoirs, but equally important are the layers of rock over the top that act as a cap, sealing in the carbon dioxide, Mordick said. Without this robust rock layer, carbon dioxide could seep out and leak to the surface, reaching the atmosphere anyway.

"There has to be a good ceiling formation above something like shale, with low porosity and low permeability," Mordick said. "Essentially, it's like a lid on top of the storage formation that prevents carbon dioxide from migrating vertically."

Leaks are one of the primary concerns surrounding geologic carbon sequestration, and researchers around the country are assessing the risks involved, which includes studying the types of conditions that could cause carbon dioxide to escape.

http://ziuvudiq.livejournal.com/12012.html
http://ausfyipq.blogdetik.com/2013/07/09/download-cnet-do-it-yourself-digital-home-office-projects-24-cool-things-you-didnt-know-you-could-do-book/
http://ciozuipi.blogdetik.com/2013/07/10/homegrown-english-how-americans-invented-themselves-and-their-language-e-book/
http://raymondeark.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/07/11/Downloads-Conspiring%3A-A-This-Series-Novella-%28This-Series-2.5%29-e-book
http://blog.yahoo.com/_C6TBMYWFE5AC7M7UIY2XYVCZUA/articles/1331370
http://blog.yahoo.com/_HDOHHKZEBXLZIKTHR5AKEWAWNU/articles/1226177
http://khsioyro.typepad.com/blog/2013/07/wie-muss-die-wirtschaft-umgebaut-werden-online.html
http://friendfeed.com/opfaei/b252943d/download-making-of-mia-e-book
http://friendfeed.com/bfofbrs/ceae1d6e/download-gu-iacutea-r-aacutepida-de-google
http://umcpyspsub.blogdetik.com/2013/07/09/storage-space-a-collection-of-contemporary-poetry-book-downloads/
http://friendfeed.com/zoknaam/9a5b43a6/prevention-of-dental-caries-and-oral-sepsis
http://en.netlog.com/veramaxwell/blog/blogid=26521876
http://ausfyipq.blogdetik.com/2013/07/10/inactivation-of-waterborne-emerging-pathogens-e-book-downloads/
http://friendfeed.com/opfaei/9a22282a/download-nevada-rose-ebook
http://ciozuipi.blogdetik.com/2013/07/10/downloads-lemon-law-the-standard-reference-guide/
http://friendfeed.com/encnc/49635d8a/marrying-mom-online

Stocks inch higher, setting new records

It was another record day on Wall Street barely.

After spending most of Friday flat or down, stocks rallied at the last minute and closed slightly higher, just enough to post new record highs for the Dow Jones industrial average and the Standard & Poor's 500 index.

The gains were tiny. And the new record doesn't mean much for investors, who hardly have any more money now than they did a day earlier. But it is a sign that investors believe the market's rally this year may not be over yet.

The S&P 500 has closed higher seven days in a row. The last time it did that was in March.

Investors had to look past a pessimistic outlook from UPS, which said it was seeing a slowdown in U.S. industry. And in the afternoon, Boeing shares tanked after one of its 787s caught on fire in London, reviving fears of the troubles that plane had with smoldering batteries earlier this year.

Other economic news was mixed. Profits at big banks Wells Fargo and JP Morgan came in better than expected, and that helped financial stocks. But a University of Michigan measure of consumer sentiment came in lower than expected for this month.

Investors will get a lot more information next week, when key reports on inflation and retail sales are due. That's also when the pace of company earnings reports picks up sharply. Results are due from the remaining big banks as well as General Electric, Intel, Microsoft and other industry bellwethers.

"This is the jump ball, this is the Lebron James of the market," said David Darst, chief investment strategist for Morgan Stanley Individual Investor Group, referring to the second-quarter earnings rush. "It's going to determine where the market goes."

The Dow closed up 3.38 points, just 0.02 percent, at 15,464.30. The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 5.17 points, or 0.3 percent, to 1,680.19. Both indexes also closed at all-time highs on Thursday.

The Nasdaq composite edged up 21.78 points, or 0.6 percent, to 3,600.08. It's still well short of its record high of 5,048, set in March 2000.

The Russell 2000, which is made up of smaller companies, rose 3.35 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 1,036.52.

All the big indexes are ahead for the week.

Stocks spent most of Friday down, but not down much. Analysts believe investors are waiting for several major earnings and economic reports next week before deciding whether the rally has further to run.

Anthony Conroy, managing director and head trader for ConvergEx Group, thinks it's likely that stocks will move higher, as long as second-quarter earnings reports at least match the low expectations that investors have. "The three most important things in the next couple of weeks are earnings, earnings, and earnings," he said.

Cost-cutting boosted profits at Wells Fargo, and its stock rose 74 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $42.63. JPMorgan Chase reported a 32 percent jump in profits, but its stock fell 17 cents to $54.97.

Conroy said JPMorgan's credit numbers were strong. "That means the consumer's out there spending and borrowing and propping up the whole economy, and that's a good thing," he said.

United Parcel Service sank $5.33, or 5.8 percent, to $86.12 after saying its second-quarter and full-year earnings will be less than analysts have been expecting because the company's customers are using cheaper shipping options. UPS also said it's seeing a slowdown in U.S. industry.

FedEx fell, too. Its shares were down $2.11, or 2 percent, to $102.29.

Boeing dropped after a fire on a 787 parked at Heathrow Airport, and after another 787 had to divert to a different airport. Boeing struggled earlier this year after its new 787 was grounded for more than three months because of smoldering batteries, and investors are nervous about any additional problems with the plane.

Before news of the fire broke, Boeing set a new 52-week high of $108.15 earlier Friday. The stock dropped $5.01, or 4.7 percent, to close at $101.87 on high volume. Boeing was the biggest decliner in the Dow.

Other stocks with notable moves included:

Gap rose 34 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $45.10. Three analysts lifted their price targets after Gap posted revenue at stores open at least a year that was better than the market was expecting.

WebMD jumped $6.86, or 25 percent, to $33.82 after the medical website operator sharply raised its forecast for its second-quarter results, citing strong demand from advertisers.

RadioShack Corp. rose 29 cents, or 11 percent, to $2.92. Investors were spooked late Thursday after a report that it had hired financial advisers. But they appeared to be reassured after the struggling electronics retailer said it has a strong balance sheet and that the "sole focus" of its discussions with advisers is making its balance sheet stronger.

The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose slightly to 2.59 percent from 2.57 percent.

The yield has risen almost a full percentage point since early May, pushing interest rates higher for mortgages and other loans. There's a fear that higher rates could hurt housing and business borrowing.

John Fox, director of research at Fenimore Asset Management, said housing is improving, employment is improving, and retail and auto sales are good.
NBA's Wade in China to promote sneakers,

By Paul Carsten

BEIJING (Reuters) - The Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade visited China on Wednesday for the first time since signing a multi-million dollar contract with Chinese sportswear company Li Ning last year, but the sneakers that bear his name are in short supply.

Chinese stores are slowly being re-stocked with the "Way of Wade" shoes, but they won't be widely available on U.S. markets for some time.

With hundreds of fans cheering at a promotional event in Beijing, the six foot-four inch tall Wade chest-thumped the diminutive Chinese host on stage and towered over Olympic gymnast Li Ning, the founder of the company that bears his name.

"Li Ning is what I believe in, it's my style," the NBA superstar said, wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with his face and the signature gold and black Wade sneakers.

But Li Ning has left customers on both sides of the Pacific wanting for the Wade shoes, unable even to profit from the Heat being crowned NBA champions last month. Wade's teammate LeBron James's Nike sneakers recorded the highest U.S. sales of any NBA player last year, drawing $300 million.

It's not known how many pairs of Wade sneakers have been made and sold so far but it's only in the region of a few thousand. Most basketball fans scouring stores and the Internet for the shoes outside China are coming up empty-handed.

In China, some stores have been given stocks since the beginning of the month.

Li Ning, backed by Singapore sovereign fund GIC and U.S. private equity firm TPG Capital, lured Wade from rival Nike last year in a sponsorship deal worth an estimated $100 million over 10 years.

The company is cagey about its strategy and divulged no details of manufacturing capacity or projected sales for the Wade sneakers.

"Making revenue with this was a secondary consideration for us," executive vice chairman Jin-Goon Kim told reporters.

"We're trying very hard to increase capacity," he said, citing the limited number of factories that can manufacture Wade's shoes.

"One of the things that really made it more difficult to scale up is Wade is so meticulous. These shoes are really complicated," said Kim.

The company, which is refocusing efforts on China after posting a $318.8 million loss last year, is struggling even on its home turf, with few resources to spare for other markets.

But it may be getting its act together. Besides the start of the re-stocking, the NBA superstar will visit Shanghai and Guangdong to promote the shoes.

However, overseas markets, including the United States, will come only later.

"We have to first serve our Chinese consumers because there is so much demand here that we cannot fulfill," said Kim.

Franklin Yao, managing partner of Shanghai-based strategy consulting firm SmithStreetSolutions, said the sneakers were aimed at the Chinese market since there was no distribution in the United States and the shoes were only available in specialty websites or on e-bay.

"They are obviously missing out on potential sales in the U.S., given the buzz that the shoes have generated, but building out U.S. distribution may not be as quick as the opportunity to sign Dwyane Wade was," Yao said.

"The U.S. market itself is just not a focus for Li Ning right now - China is," said James Roy, senior analyst at Shanghai-based China Market Research.

"They don't have any stores in the U.S. and their e-commerce presence has been shut down. This is almost completely about the Chinese market," Roy said.

(Additional reporting by Donny Kwok and Twinnie Siu in Hong Kong; Editing by Raju Gopalakrishnan)

http://delbertao.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/06/25/Download-Sustainable-technologies%3A-Bicycle%2C-Hydropower%2C-Windmill%2C-Permaculture%2C-Organic-farming%2C-Companion-planting%2C-Windpump%2C-Thatching%2C-Plug-in-hybrid
http://qejeloom.deviantart.com/journal/The-Second-Civil-War-How-Extreme-Partisanship-H-380618312
http://yqymlnyoul.blogdetik.com/2013/06/22/aepa-special-education-learning-disability-27-flashcard-study-system-aepa-test-practice-questions-exam-review-for-the-arizona-educator-proficiency-assessments-downloads/
http://moickepbo.blogdetik.com/2013/06/23/download-shooting-to-live/
http://cuhrippouu.blogdetik.com/2013/06/24/downloads-the-gettysburg-campaign-lees-failure-to-define-intent-ebook/
http://dileysem.edublogs.org/2013/06/25/the-summer-house-online/
http://friendfeed.com/turope/ad2ef196/downloads-theme-weaver-connect-power-of
http://blog.yahoo.com/_CVWREF3MUVFE3BY6PLKEHPUBF4/articles/1239718
http://blogs.rediff.com/angelitapqny/2013/06/25/downloads-illegal-tender-gold-greed-and-the-mystery-of-the-lost-1933-double-eagle/
http://blog.yahoo.com/_WNWROC5IHJOHYS7YUYRX25EC4U/articles/1255887
http://friendfeed.com/aummohq/378f7ed1/download-texas-instruments-buys-national
http://friendfeed.com/asrbi/bd505304/to-catch-cheat-warner-forever-ebook
http://friendfeed.com/udzdeiq/384edf3d/adobe-indesign-keyboard-stickers-graphic
http://rozannebq.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/06/25/Downloads-Real-Food-for-Dogs%3A-50-Vet-Approved-Recipes-for-a-Healthier-Dog-ebook
http://friendfeed.com/emicsc/43f62c29/download-priceless-stones-42-days-of-hebrew
http://blogs.rediff.com/noraao/2013/06/25/sweet-country/
http://aureliofuc.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/06/25/Innocent-Bystander-book
http://cuercfhcqb.blogdetik.com/2013/06/23/an-oration-occasioned-e-book-downloads/

Dean staff recalls campaign that changed

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) Don't take this as the doctor's advice on what to eat, but what Howard Dean remembers best is the ham sandwich.

Dean, a physician by training, sat in front of a webcam chatting between bites one day during his 2004 bid for the White House while then-Vice President Dick Cheney attended an event in South Carolina. Both were trying to raise campaign cash.

In that instance, Dean raised more.

It was a sea change in American politics that continues to resonate as the former Vermont governor, his campaign staff and supporters gather this weekend for the 10th anniversary of his campaign kickoff. That came June 23, 2003, when Dean drew a crowd of more than 5,000 to Burlington's Church Street Marketplace.

It all flamed out seven months later, when, after a disappointing third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses, Dean gave a concession speech that ended with a war whoop described as the "Dean scream" and replayed countless times in the days following.

But while it lasted, Dean scored several firsts, said Daniel Kreiss, an assistant professor of journalism at the University of North Carolina who has written extensively on the role of the Internet in politics.

Among them were the systematic uses of email to raise funds and blogging and social networking to organize supporters, Kreiss wrote in an email.

Dean also attracted young, tech-savvy bloggers through his campaign's willingness to use open-source software, Kreiss has written.

"On a cultural level, using open-source technologies reflected what these volunteers saw as the openness of the campaign," he wrote. Dean's volunteers "believed that the campaigns of Dean's rivals did not have the same open culture and therefore would be unable to take full advantage of this organizing tool."

The result, said Nicco Mele, who served as Dean's webmaster and now teaches at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, was a campaign that used online video in the days before YouTube and social networking before Facebook existed.

"It was the first political campaign to really aggressively utilize the Internet to raise money and organize people," Mele said. "We tried literally hundreds" of emerging Internet-based tools.

But all the new media would be for naught without Dean's positions on issues, said campaign manager Joe Trippi. As governor in 2000, Dean signed Vermont's first-in-the-nation civil unions law providing legal recognition to same-sex couples. Dean also scored points with young people with his opposition to the war in Iraq, which he called "the wrong war at the wrong time."

Trippi said in an interview that what he's most proud of about the campaign is the number of staffers who've gone on to senior roles in other campaigns, the tech world or the media. Former staffer Joe Rospars is founder and CEO of Blue State Digital and was principal digital strategist for both of Barack Obama's presidential campaigns. Garrett Graff, whom Trippi credits with coming up with the ham sandwich idea, is editor of The Washingtonian magazine. Trippi himself has been media strategist for several foreign campaigns and for that of California Gov. Jerry Brown in 2010.

"I don't remember a losing presidential campaign to launch that many successes across the country in different parts of government and politics," said Trippi. "It certainly has left its mark in a lot of ways."

Dean said he's looking forward to a gathering set for Sunday at Burlington's Oakledge Park for staffers and volunteers to reflect and reminisce. Dean insisted that he was not the key to his campaign's lasting impact.

"It isn't me; it's the movement that gathered under the banner of the campaign," he said. "It was the coming of age of the millennial generation politically. Even though I bear no resemblance to Gene McCarthy," who rallied young, anti-war activists to his 1968 presidential campaign, "it's sort of the same phenomenon for this generation."

http://ppovpmhu.blogdetik.com/2013/07/02/reprint-1988-yearbook-menomonie-high-school-menomonie-wisconsin-e-book-downloads/
http://aonezmmem.metroblog.com/download_dailyom_learning_to_live_ebook
http://yoeqboyei.blogdetik.com/2013/07/02/download-el-canon-oscuro-e-book/
http://ufqeooen.blogdetik.com/2013/07/02/downloads-the-2011-world-market-forecasts-for-imported-ice-cream-e-book/
http://uhnukugo.blog.com/2013/07/02/download-abdominal-sonography-review-a-qa-review-for-the-ardms-abdomen-specialty-exam-ebook/
http://devonuqrzd.webs.com/apps/blog/show/29578228
http://twitpic.com/d0e6jv
http://blog.yahoo.com/_2A34Q4GJSEBJJCYT7R2FOG5DUM/articles/1332769
http://tuyuclaw.deviantart.com/journal/Download-ORIGINAL-PATENT-APPLICATION-NUMBER-17-13-382322194
http://en.netlog.com/marlenewhittenburg/blog/blogid=25981256
http://twitpic.com/d0e6ki
http://tracicnqd.skyrock.com/3171788337-Downloads-Bulgaria-Market-Opportunity-for-Media-Tablets-2011-2016.html

Red Bull change pitstop procedures

LONDON (Reuters) - Formula One champions Red Bull have changed their split-second pitstop procedures after a rear wheel flew off Mark Webber's car in the pitlane in Germany last weekend and injured a television cameraman.

A investigation carried out by the team in the wake of the Nuerburgring incident found that Webber's car was released prematurely because a 'go' signal was sent accidentally by the right rear wheel man.

The report, sent to all teams and the governing FIA, revealed that the right rear nut cross-threaded as the wheel went on during a German Grand Prix pitstop that lasted less than three seconds.

When the mechanic with the wheel gun removed the nut to put another on, the gun slipped in his hand and he accidentally depressed a trigger that sent a 'go' signal to the man on the front jack.

The car was then cleared to leave the pits even though the rear wheel was unattached.

Red Bull said they would revise the design of the wheelgun to ensure that, if it accidentally rotated in the mechanic's hands, the 'go' signal could not be sent by accident.

The front jack man would also be instructed to hold the car, in the event of any problem, until receiving a clear signal that all wheels had been changed.

British cameraman Paul Allen, working for Formula One Management, suffered a broken collarbone and fractured ribs after being hit in the back by the bouncing 10kg wheel.

The incident has led to a clampdown on access to the pit lane during the race weekend.

The International Automobile Federation decreed this week that media would be restricted to the pit wall and only authorised team personnel and event marshals would be allowed in the pitlane during qualifying and the race.

The BBC reported that FOM has subsequently told broadcasters the measures will also apply to all free practice sessions on safety grounds.

http://keameyas.jimdo.com/2013/07/04/a-world-lost-a-novel-port-william-book-downloads/
http://ubrifoc.wordpress.com/2013/07/04/downloads-mel-bay-easy-classics-for-clarinet-with-piano-accompaniment-e-book/
http://aqyompemd.metroblog.com/the_cafe_fresh_cookbook
http://blog.yahoo.com/_B62U3S5JTD5W776IBVCB5Y6LOM/articles/1380864
http://friendfeed.com/eotyez/1b323a6f/download-automorphe-formen
http://twitpic.com/d0oeg9
http://xivdill.menblogs.net/The-first-blog-b1/Lettering-for-Advertising-ebook-b1-p35.htm
http://latishayor.skyrock.com/3172151495-Download-Lockheed-SR-71-The-Secret-Missions-Exposed-ebook.html
http://rauqlais.metroblog.com/mad_hungry_cravings_ebook_downloads
http://hisafoal.deviantart.com/journal/Downloads-Never-Let-You-Go-Audio-Book-on-CD-382748084
http://friendfeed.com/mdebe/407bc10c/rationality-in-economics-constructivist-and
http://en.netlog.com/elvahaug/blog/blogid=26062274
http://friendfeed.com/isrhyc/6b59e0c8/educational-psychology-reflection-for-action
http://en.netlog.com/terrellepley/blog/blogid=26062272
http://wuikeroq.jimdo.com/2013/07/04/real-estate-investing-made-simple-a-commonsense-approach-to-building-wealth-book/

Giant Iceberg Breaks Off Antarctic Glaci

A massive iceberg, larger than the city of Chicago, broke off of Antarctica's Pine Island Glacier on Monday (July 8), and is now floating freely in the Amundsen Sea, according to a team of German scientists.

The newborn iceberg measures about 278 square miles (720 square kilometers), and was seen by TerraSAR-X, an earth-observing satellite operated by the German Space Agency (DLR). Scientists with NASA's Operation IceBridgefirst discovered ain October 2011, as they were flying over and surveying the sprawling ice sheet.

At that time, the fissure spanned about 15 miles (24 km) in length and 164 feet (50 meters) in width, according to researchers at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven, Germany. In May 2012, satellite images revealed a second rift had formed near the northern side of the first crack.

"As a result of these cracks, one giant iceberg broke away from the glacier tongue," Angelika Humbert, a glaciologist at the Alfred Wegener Institute, said in a statement. []

Humbert and her colleagues studied high resolution radar images taken by the TerraSAR-X satellite to track the changes in the two cracks, and to observe the processes behind glacier movements.

"Using the images we have been able to follow how the larger crack on the Pine Island Glacier extended initially to a length of 28 kilometers [17 miles]," Nina Wilkens, one of the team researchers from the Alfred Wegener Institute, said in a statement. "Shortly before the 'birth' of the iceberg, the gap then widened bit by bit so that it measured around 540 meters [1,770 feet] at its widest point."

As theand flows out to sea, it develops and drops icebergs as part of a natural and cyclical process, Humbert said. But, the way the ice breaks, or "calves," is still somewhat mysterious.

"Glaciers are constantly in motion," she said. "They have their very own flow dynamics. Their ice is exposed to permanent tensions and the calving of icebergs is still largely unresearched."

The Pine Island Glacier ice shelf, the part of the glacier that extends out into the water, last produced large icebergs in 2001 and 2007.

http://baoucumn.metroblog.com/stirling_at_war_book_downloads
http://shareneih.soup.io/post/323575683/Friendship-Bands-Braiding-Weaving-Knotting-online
http://vomebaya.deviantart.com/journal/Downloads-Help-I-m-a-Facebookaholic-Inside-the-383736508
http://en.netlog.com/lavadagarrido/blog/blogid=26316065
http://gisepack.deviantart.com/journal/Terrorist-Recognition-Handbook-book-383736577
http://en.netlog.com/rosendoparmley/blog/blogid=26316052
http://leoniesuu.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/07/08/Downloads-Nuevo-rostro%3A-Nissan-Nismo-370Z%3A-A.M.-Performance-hace-repuestos%2C-modificaciones-y-preparaciocircn-de-autos-de-carrera.-Con-base-en-Scotts-Valley%2C-...-paicircs.%3A-An-article-from%3A-Automundo-Magazine
http://larueeios.skyrock.com/3173004643-Ob-integrirovan-i-v-konechnom-vidi-e-irrat-s-anal-nykh-different-s.html
http://opsuquma.blog.com/2013/07/08/national-geographic-our-fifty-states-online/
http://friendfeed.com/qcmsnfq/4c4f991e/road-of-danger-online
http://rafaelnyours.webs.com/apps/blog/show/29940644
http://shaydoo.skyrock.com/3173004655-Prevention-and-Management-of-Complications-from-Gynecologic-Surgery-An.html

Beneath NYC's ground zero, a museum take

NEW YORK (AP) Gray dust blankets everything in the subterranean halls of the unfinished National September 11 Memorial & Museum. But while the powder may look ominously like the ash that covered lower Manhattan after the terrorist attacks, this time it is a product of rebirth, not destruction.

After a yearlong construction shutdown because of a funding dispute, and additional months of cleanup following a shocking flood caused by Superstorm Sandy, work has been racing ahead again at the museum, which sits in a cavernous space below the World Trade Center memorial plaza that opened in 2011.

About 130 workers are at the site each day and there is much left to be done, but officials with the museum said the project is on track to open to the public in the spring of 2014.

Some of the museum's most emotion-inspiring artifacts already are anchored in place.

Tears rolled down Anthoula Katsimatides' cheeks Thursday as she toured halls holding a mangled fire truck, strangely beautiful tangles of rebar and the pieces of intersecting steel known as the Ground Zero Cross.

"It makes me sad," said Katsimatides, whose brother John died at the trade center. But it's also inspiring, said Katsimatides, who sits on the museum's board. "Seeing it come to fruition is pretty intense."

Work on the museum was halted for nearly a year, starting in the fall of 2011, because of a money fight between the memorial foundation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which owns the trade center site.

In retrospect, that slowdown was a blessing. Shortly after the two sides worked out their differences, Superstorm Sandy sent the Hudson River thundering through lower Manhattan and filled the museum cavern with 7 feet of water.

The flood destroyed interior walls and electrical circuits, but the construction delay meant that hundreds of artifacts and exhibits that might have been in the museum still hadn't been fabricated or were sitting safely in storage. There was minor flash rusting to one of the fire trucks that had already been lowered into the space, but the damage was repaired by conservators and isn't noticeable today, said National September 11 Memorial & Museum President Joseph Daniels.

Today there is no sign that there was ever a flood. Daniels said there has been "almost indescribable" progress on construction since the storm.

Structural work appears mostly complete on the glass pavilion and wide staircase and ramp visitors will use to descend into the museum, past two towering "tridents" that once helped form the distinctive base of the twin towers. Once silvery, the columns were stripped bare by the fires on 9/11 and are now the color of rusted, raw steel.

From a mezzanine, patrons will be able to peer into a deep, nave-like hallway nicknamed the South Canyon. The hall's high western wall will eventually be covered with a multitude of notes and letters of support that people around the world sent to New York after the attacks.

"They continue to send things. It's amazing," Katsimatides said. "That outpouring of support is one of the things that got the 9/11 families through."

Further down the ramp, visitors come to a platform overlooking an even more massive cavern bordered by the slurry wall, a 70-foot-tall, steel-studded concrete slab originally built to keep the Hudson River from flooding the trade center construction site.

In the hall's center stands the last steel column removed from ground zero during the cleanup operation. Recovery workers covered the pillar with their signatures before it was carried away, and visitors will get a chance to leave their own mark on another big piece of steel near the museum's exit though their autographs will be captured by a computerized touch screen and projected on the slurry wall, rather than left in ink on metal.

Throughout the museum, curators have hung pieces of steel that were bent and twisted into striking shapes, including one sheet of metal that now appears to ripple like a flag and a huge girder bent by the impact of the aircraft hitting the towers.

Many of them look like sculptures.

"In a strange way, they are like pieces of art," Katsimatides said. But Daniels added that they weren't chosen for their beauty, but to explain what happened at the site on 9/11.

A few design elements of the museum are still under discussion.

When visitors descend to the very bottom of the museum where, in some places, they will be able to view the very bedrock that the towers once rested upon they will enter a hall with a large wall bearing an inscription from Virgil. "No day shall erase you from the memory of time."

Behind that wall will sit a special mausoleum, off limits to the general public, containing the unidentified remains of hundreds of 9/11 victims. Most of the interior walls of the museum have the look of bare concrete, as a constant reminder of the site's location within the old trade center foundation. But Daniels said the museum's designers are talking about possibly cladding this wall in a different material, or a different color, to separate it from the rest.

"It's a special place. Do we need something to distinguish it?" he said.

The bulk of the work remaining to be completed will revolve around installing the museum's exhibits, which will include many artifacts, including a wall made up of portraits of all 2,983 victims and a room where visitors will be able to call up video presentations that tell a story about each of them.

"The idea is to learn about the lives that they lived, not just the deaths that they died," Daniels said.

http://friendfeed.com/vcoko/012d8f3f/download-united-nations-peace-operations-and
http://en.netlog.com/malikprater/blog/blogid=26380578
http://ybtrlrveth.blogdetik.com/2013/07/06/download-frommers-national-parks-of-the-american-west-park-guides-e-book/
http://twitpic.com/d1mvos
http://twitpic.com/d1mvpi
http://eywazili.wordpress.com/2013/07/09/downloads-journal-of-an-american-prisoner-at-fort-malden-and-quebec-in-the-war-of-1812/
http://katherinaupeuo.webs.com/apps/blog/show/30038232
http://en.netlog.com/roxannhutchison/blog/blogid=26380600
http://twitpic.com/d1mvpx
http://bustermup.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/07/09/Download-Here-Comes-the-Bride-book
http://friendfeed.com/eyuuok/95a487ce/download-power-of-movement-in-plants-e-book
http://blog.yahoo.com/_ESVQ7IRAWUC2VDZ4X5JGXBKI6U/articles/1235126
http://myyoazdmy.metroblog.com/passport_to_yesterday_ebook
http://friendfeed.com/ynaqmo/a362b07a/thermal-engineering-download
http://marcelinaoude.skyrock.com/3173192891-Tinker-Elfhome-Book-1-ebook-downloads.html
http://diveqeuo.metroblog.com/extreme_edge_lorimer_sidestreets_ebook
http://timazu.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/07/09/Downloads-Comverse-drives-industry-specs-for-visual-voicemail-on-mobile-handsets.%28NEW-PRODUCTS%29%28voice-mail-technology-installed-in-wireless-telephones%29%3A-An-article-from%3A-The-Mobile-Internet-%28Boston%2C-MA%29-e-book
http://friendfeed.com/vcoko/1713eb7f/downloads-one-of-kind-ebook
http://maritazmt.blog.free.fr/index.php?post/2013/07/09/Souvenirs-from-Space%3A-The-Oscar-E.-Monnig-Meteorite-Gallery-e-book
http://en.netlog.com/soledadratley/blog/blogid=26380635
