The French Baker

Yesterday was such a tiring day, but very worthwhile! We went to DFA Aseana and had our passport renewal at 9:30 AM. There were so many people there, but glad we finished early. So we went to 168 mall in the afternoon, and strolled & shopped at MOA in the evening.

I took loads of photos, but this is the most decent one. LOL! Taken with my iphone at our favorite boutique spot. Forever 21!

At exactly 8:00 PM, Ryzelle and I decided to have our dinner at French Baker. Honestly, it was my first time to dine in here because I usually ignore this restaurant. So we tried. We sat under the lighted trees. It was romantic!

I ordered Grilled Chicken and Mango Salsa.

Fillet of deboned chicken leg quarter grilled with special BBQ sauce, sided with mango salsa and rice. I like the taste of their chicken, it was so tender. The Mango salsa tasted good as well.

Complementary Soup. It was made out of vegetable and chicken stock with a little bit of cream, chopped carrots and celery.

Ryzelle prefer to have light meals, so she ordered Soup on a Bread Bowl.
Creamy soup of the day stuffed in French bread bowl. It was cool! You can enjoy the soup and eat the bread. I guess it tasted as great as the presentation!

Our drinks..

Mango Shake. You have to be careful in ordering this shake because its big. Bigger than expected!

Iced Cold Water with Lemon and peppermint

It was again such a great dining experience, this time from France with love. Never thought having a taste of the French Cuisine would be as affordable and fun as this.

Cafe Uno at Grandpa's Inn

Last Wednesday, Tina and I went to Vigan City. It was already noon time when we arrived, so we decided to eat lunch first. We don't know the exact address of the inn, but it wasn't too far from the heart of the city, though you still need to take the tricycle to get there.

All the walls, including the ones inside the cafe were still made of stone, giving the whole place a nice old school feel.

We were given two sets of menus, one for Cafe Uno and one for Kusina Felecitas, but Cafe Uno's menu was more of snacks, so we decided to choose dishes from Kusina Felecitas. Oh My! Oh My! We wanted to order everything!

We tried their thai soup. Tom Yum Goong!

Ginataang Tilapia..

and Red Grape Shakes as our drink. I am not sure if they used fresh or canned grape for this drink, but it sure tasted like fresh red grapes!

Pricey but so worth it. The food was delicious!
Cafe Uno was a nice place to take a food break while exploring Vigan.

I'm gonna share my favorite kawaii Korean/Japanese/Chinese iPhone apps.
These are my absolute favorite apps:

푸딩 카메라 By KTH (Pudding Camera) is a Korean app. It contains 8 different camera and 8 different film types embedded within an app― Basic, Snap, Panorama, Fantasy, Motion 2x2, Motion x4, Fisheye, Motion x2; Basic, Vintage Brown, Vintage Blue, Vignetting, Dazzle, Mono, Noir, Vivid. I like their Panorama Camera best, with Noir & Vintage Brown filters.

美图秀秀 (Měi tú xiù xiù). This app is in full Chinese. Just play around with this app. I guarantee you that this is really worth it. For me, this app can do better than Instagram. They also have a free software, Click here if you also want to download it. For me, this is the best!

Instagram. I think this is one of the most popular photo editing app. Definitely, I love this app. & I've been using this since Jan 2011. The only thing I don't love about it is that all the photo options are square. It's really great for Twitter posting.

Decopic is a kawaii photo editing application. This is a free photo application created for ladies who like all things "kawaii". The main language is in English. It has Japanese themes of picature, pikapika, and cutepics types of sticker pics. I think you guys will enjoy this app.

P.F. Love This is a really cute Valentine's/Love themed photo decorating application. Everyone can easily use this app to create a unique picture and share it with your friends. They also have Christmas theme..

おかいものクマカメラ This app offers a seasonal frames with Okaimono Kuma designs, which means "Shopping Bear." He is the famous bear in Japan. A Sogo and Seibu's character.

Smile Cat or Smile Photo, a picture decorator app. It's in Korean! and it is one of the best apps for photo frames. Then there are so many cute stickers you could put around your frame.

Dyptic Frames One of the top free iPhone apps available for download. I simply love this app. You can add different photos in order to make a collage.

I'm finally home from Manila..

HongKong Emperor Seafood Restaurant

After the Hello Kitty Fair, we had a late dinner at Hong Kong Emperor Seafood Restaurant. Located at the 2nd floor Entertainment Mall of Mall of Asia, near the South Parking area. It’s a huge and bright place.

I love the restaurant’s swanky chandeliers!

We are so lucky that we have a good & super kind chinese friend and rich enough to treat us in a classic and expensive Chinese restaurant. Sssshh.. He was formerly a chef in this restaurant. Does that mean he got a big discount? LOL!

We ordered 2 kinds of soup...

Pineapple and Orange Shake

Pineapple shake was good and refereshing. I suggest it! Its really good.

There were complementary fresh fruits served at the end of the meal. Slices of pineapple, watermelon and orange.

a beautiful resort

Shangrila's Rasa Sentosa Resort
we stayed here for 4 days & 3 nights.

this is a very beautiful resort with convenient access to the siloso beach
also, it is very convenient to play around Sentosa while staying at the resort as free buses and beach trams are around!

Day 1. Orchard Road

As soon as we dropped off our stuff in the hotel, we headed to Orchard road!

Orchard road is lined with shops and department stores. You get most of the branded products at one street, so the afternoon we spent there was just enough for us to walk most of its distance.

Walking around the road, you will find serious people moving for their business places, olds and young for almost all nationality walking for shopping. You will find tour guides and colorful buses.

Oh! Here we are faced with Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Prada, LV, etc... I wish I had more money.

I really admire the very classy shops and the intriguing architecture of some of the malls.

We also bumped into Lara's friends earlier infront of Ngee Ann City. LOL, Its a small world!

It was a nice street to walk by! Going in & out of the malls either to shop or just look around is a great feeling!
