せっかくお金溜まっても。。。

先日友達の洗濯機が壊れた。2年半前に香港に来た時に買ったもの。直した方が環境に優しいとは思うけど、その洗濯機は壊れやすい気がする。買い換えるしかないかも。

先月、私の家とおばあちゃんの家の洗濯機も壊れて買い換えた。洗濯機って意外と壊れやすいね。

壊れない限り使い続けたいのに。

いつもそうだ。

ちょっと貯金できるようになってせっかくお金貯まっても、ついどこかで使ってしまった。家の壁にヒビが入ってポロポロになってリフォームしたり、顔のアレルギーで皮膚科に行ったり、大切な歯が折れて抜かなければならないことになったり。

ということで、私の貯金する方法は家を買うしかない。幸い9年前に買ったので、ローンの返済はあと11年。あと11年頑張らないといけない。

自分のやりたいこと

配達や引っ越しなどでバイクや大型バンなどを利用したい。そんなとき運転手に直接連絡を取ることのできるゴーゴーバンというアプリです。

仲介者やコールセンターを介することなく、効率的に配達車などを利用できます。

最近友達が別の友達の彼氏に影響を受けて、4年間働いている新聞記者の仕事をやめて独立して自分のペースで仕事したいと考えています。分割払いでバンを買って自営業の運送配達者になりたい。これから香港の人口が増えていくため、モノの移動が急増すると見込まれているという。

ドライブが彼の趣味だし頭が良さそうで、記者の仕事はカッコいいとは思うのですが、やっぱり自分のやりたいことをやればいいじゃないんですか？そうして「やりたいこと」を仕事にしつづけることに成功すれば、ますますその人の能力や魅力は向上し、仕事を引き寄せるようになっていきます。人生って短い！

The government has proposed charging HK$1 for every 1-liter bottle. We all know the costs could be passed on to restaurants or supermarkets, which could in turn increase prices for customers. There must be some impacts on business.

I agree with one of the lawmakers who against the proposal. He accused the government of doing little (almost nothing) to educate public about recycling glass. Actually the problem is not just about glass, but all recyclable materials like papers, plastics and cans. As I don't see many recycling trash in malls or on the street, even though I want to help, it doesn't allow me to help much.

Besides teaching privately, I'm currently teaching at a learning centre in an area surrounded by people from different countries. There are Americans, Australians, Bristish, Malaysians, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Spainish, Korean, Indian, etc. So I'm teaching languages in Multiple Languages like Cantonese, English, Japanese and Mandarin. I do like this kind of challenging.

Although the centre is geographically quite far away from the city centre and very near the airport, it takes only 30-45 mins to the city centre if by train. I need to take 1 hour from home though. By the way, my friend since my childhood lives nearby, sometimes we meet for a chat or go for a walk after work.

Make sure that you go for quality, not quantity while learning to speak different languages. Let's think about when you've been learning English for 5 years, eventually you can't even say numbers correctly.

Try to go for quality instead of just trying to learn as many as you can. By doing so, you’ll really be able to engage in meaningful conversations with others instead of being limited to only short phrases.

あいうえお。。。Learning to speak Japanese is a real pain, but don't give up.

So frustrated.

Dear parents, We teachers just want the best thing for the kids, just like you.

Many parents are friendly, supportive, and eager to work with teachers to make sure their children get the best possible education. But some parents seem to have a problem with teachers. They don’t display much in the way of respect.

That kind of parents do not truely understand what teachers do in the class. As a responsible teacher, I've been frequently explaining to you about the learning progress, and even taking voice record for your kids. Therefore I assume you understand what goes on there.

No matter how fast or how slow you learn, it’s always important to remember to be patient and never give up.

Learning a language is a life-long event. It doesn't stop when you reach a certain level. Trust your teacher and your kid's ability please!

Usagi is one of my JP friends. She and I first met at hd and became great friends through a mutual friend, Na. He's my old colleague and also one of my best JP friends. We hadn't seen each other for almost two years after she got married, until I happened to run into her the day before yesterday in TC.

I was always thinking about her. I thought we would have no chance to hang out in the rest of my life. We promised to each other to go for drink, we made it! We went to Starbucks today.

Three years ago, I volunteered to write a great resume for her. She made it! She had got a job successfully. However, it completely changed my life and that of her.

We had a great time and talked a lot about what happened in the past two years. The feeling for her was a little different somehow. I can't say. Anyway, looking forward to seeing her again soon.

先週「那夜凌晨、我坐上了旺角開往大埔的紅Van」を見に行きました！！

まさか主役のShineの又南と天佑や惠英紅と監督陳果などが、この映画を見にくる人に感謝するために、わざわざ感謝しに映画館にやって来た！びっくりした！カッコよすぎて、恥ずかしく思ったから、握手だってできなくて惜しかった！情けないでしょ？o(｀ω´ )o →情けないに決まってるじゃん。。。

本当に素晴らしい社会問題を扱った映画ですね！！！笑あり涙ありの香港に関する、社会情勢や政治人物を風刺する映画。

香港の街並みが素敵だし、ストーリーも出演者も半端ない！この先香港はどうなるんだろうな。(*ﾟｰﾟ*)

それぞれのきっかけで、皆が旺角（モンコック）から大埔(タイポ)行き
の「紅Van」(赤いミニバス)に乗って、車がトンネルを抜けて、運転手を含めて17人以外、誰もいない世界「大埔」に入った。

17人のうちの６人が原因不明で、次々と死んでしまう。
